I decided to go with Amtek Air Conditioning, and Greg, was really helpful. He walked me through all the options and helped me choose the right system for my home. The installation went smoothly, and the unit works great cooling efficiently and quietly. It was a bit more expensive upfront, but the quality and energy savings make it worth it. Overall, a great experience with Amtek and excellent service.

10/10 stars! This is a wonderful AC company. My family and I were stranded without out AC for a while. Amtek worked tirelessly to get us a unit as quickly as possible. They were extremely effective in communication and scheduling timely service. It was a 5 hour install and the employees worked relentlessly in the pouring rain to get us a working AC unit. Customer service is exceptional. I couldn’t recommend them more!

I couldn’t be happier with Amtek Air Conditioning! After weeks of frustration with another company repeatedly charging me to recharge my refrigerant, Amtek came to the rescue. They quickly diagnosed a leak and instead of just patching things up temporarily, they recommended a new unit. The whole process was smooth and professional. Been with yall for 10+ years and it sucks to see this company lose a service contract because of the lack of effort from there employees not doing the job correctly and when the job needs to be fix the want to charge you money to come fix the laziness of there employees…. This company want to charge $300 for a simple 15min job that I been complaining about to there tech when he first got here … its not because I did my own insulation the box got unhooked.. its been coming apart because iv been having my 10month old a/c system run for hours because the ductwork been coming apart … tell your employees to slow down and make sure they do the job right. I will not be renewing my contract.. these people couldn’t even give me a call to speak to me I had to call multiple times to get them to figure out if they coming to my home or not because I have things to do ..

This is the best Air Conditioning company, I highly recommend them.

Amtek Air Conditioning Inc. left me disappointed with their service and lack of accountability. On September 20, I called them to check on my AC, and while they came out promptly, the technician informed me that the air conditioner capacitor needed replacement. After some negotiation, I paid $400, covering the part, service fee, and labor.

Fast forward to early November, and I'm facing the same issue. I called Amtek to ask if the repair was under warranty, considering it’s been less than two months. Customer service bluntly informed me that there was no warranty on the job, which seemed unreasonable given the quick recurrence of the problem. I asked if they could at least send someone to verify if it was the same issue. The representative said they’d charge me $98 just for someone to check if it’s the same capacitor the technician replaced in September.

I also realized at the time that I hadn’t seen the technician install a visibly new part—he simply pulled one from his vehicle and installed it without providing the old one back or even confirming the part was genuinely new.

After going back and forth with the representative, she eventually told me someone would call me back. Over 24 hours later, I’m still waiting. This experience has left me frustrated and distrustful, and I caution anyone reading this to be wary.

REPLY TO YOUR COMMENT: Let’s cut to the chase: none of what you’ve stated is true. The technician never had that conversation with me. He didn’t say anything about replacing the unit, its age, or technical issues like the compressor drawing excessive power. The only thing he mentioned was charging me $490, which I negotiated down to $400.

Fast forward two months, and the unit failed again. It’s only four years old, not the 13 years you’re conveniently claiming. Another company fixed the issue quickly and confirmed the unit was still under warranty.

It’s clear you’re making up details to protect your reputation, but lying only worsens the situation. Instead of taking accountability, you’re blaming me. People deserve to know the truth about your practices.
