After having a little bit of a sticker shock on how water heaters have increased in price, all was good and it was lower than another company.
I had Daniel H. install my new water heater yesterday. There were a couple of mishaps involved in that two water heaters were delivered at different times on the same day and they were both dented in several places. Chris's Plumbing worked the issues as best they could. Daniel was able to hook me up with cold water since it took the next morning to secure another water heater. Daniel also offered to hook up the dented one and then switch it out with the other one the next day. I felt this was a waste of his time and we could get by with cold water only for an overnight. Daniel was so apologetic and none of this was in his control. He and the company went out of their way to correct the issues quickly. Daniel H. is an outstanding Service Installer and person. He wanted to be sure everything was right. He did a fantastic and thorough job and explained what I needed to know. He took the time to make sure all was good. Your company is blessed to have such a good and dedicated Installer who cares about the customer and his work ethic!

Excellent service yesterday from Greg. On time, ready to work. Had a nuisance slow shower drain. Greg found the hard water build up impacting the P trap in the drain. Scrapped it all out and snaked the line. Done in 30 minutes! Easy peasy!!!!

I had a great experience with Chris's Plumbing Services. I had an issue with my PVC piping connected to my pool equipment, and Allen was a huge help. He took the time to walk me through the different fittings for PVC piping and explained what parts would work best for my project. Allen's knowledge and patience were outstanding—I really appreciated how thorough he was in answering my questions. Having lived in my home for close to 50 years, the inevitable happened. We needed to have our home repiped. With so many plumbing companies in the area, we had no idea whom we should call. Needless to say, it was very stressful! Chris’s plumbing was recommended by a friend of my husband. He had plumbing issues several years ago and highly recommended them. So we called, and Monty came to asses the problem and give us an estimate. We were very impressed by his knowledge , professionalism, and kindness. So, we confidently decided to have Chris’s Plumbing do the job.
The crew showed up just a couple of days later and upon meeting Rob, Wayne, Chaz, and Johnny, (hope I didn’t leave any one out) we knew we picked the best plumbing company! They immediately started to work and impressed us with the way they worked together. They made sure our floors were protected and even had someone patch the holes in the walls and retexture them. They finished the job that same day, and made the whole process much less stressful than we thought it would be! Thank you so, so much!! Been using Chris's Plumbing for years. Always have had good outcomes. Sometimes a creative solution had to be explored, which has been successful (issues with improper shower drain install on new construction). Had Daniel out today for standard service call items. He was prompt, did quick work, answered questions and cleaned up. Price was fair for the three items he addressed.

Had multiple recommendations for this company when getting quotes for a new water heater. Unfortunately our water heater didn't hold out until we were ready, but Chris's Plumbing was on point. They had great communication on the phone, fit us in quickly, worked around my night shift schedule, and beat most of the quotes we had gotten, especially from big box stores. Greg was our technician today, and he got the job done quickly and efficiently and didn't mind our ginormous dog wanting a quick visit. Will definitely recommend

THINK TWICE!!!!!

I recently bought two new Kohler toilet seats and needed someone to install them the same day. I called Chris’s Plumbing and scheduled the job for the next day, which they agreed to. I didn’t mind their $160/hour rate, even though it’s $20-$40 higher than the average, because it was my only day off and I wanted the job done. They called and informed me the plumber would be arriving earlier than scheduled, so I placed the seats outside each bathroom to prepare. A seemingly harmless older man named Cameron showed up and got to work.

Being in the automotive industry myself, I value first impressions and customer service a whole lot. About 20 minutes in, Cameron called me to the first bathroom to explain that the gasket on the toilet bowl had a crack and would need replacing, costing an additional $10. I was surprised because I assumed the Kohler toilet seats, known for their high quality, would already include functional gaskets. He said he prefers to use his. When he declined this, I decided to let it go and asked him to proceed, as $10 wasn’t a big deal. I kept an eye on his pace of work but didn’t focus too much on it, even though toilet seat replacements like mine should normally take no more than 1-2 hours.

Once he finished, Cameron immediately asked for my card number to pay, skipping the usual step of asking me to inspect the work to ensure I was satisfied. Without addressing me by name, he said, “Mister, your total is $575.” I was about to pay but decided to pause and do some quick math. He was billing me for 3 hours of labor, but he had arrived at 8:47 am, and this conversation was taking place around 11:05 am. I asked him to explain the discrepancy, and he said, “Well, I left 30 minutes before I got here.” I was shocked because his commute time was not my responsibility, and I made that clear to him. I told him I would only pay for 2.5 hours, so he reevaluated the bill but then tacked on additional fees, including a 3% charge for using my card and for some additional supplies I don’t know of. He then asked me what year is the Mercedes Benz in my drive way and how he thinks it is very expensive, (is that why you are here).

At this point, I was too frustrated to argue anymore, though I felt his attempt to bill me for time he didn’t actually work was greedy. It completely ruined my experience. I had planned to tip him, but his dishonesty changed that. I can’t stand when people try to take advantage of me, and I left the experience very disappointed. I would advise you all to be careful before giving Chris’s plumbing company any job.

Cameron helped my family out this week with a clogged pipe in our 1960s house that was backing up in all our sinks. He cleared it out in no time. He was amazing!

Don't do it. They quoted $160 an hour. The guy was here 45 minutes, snaked out our clog and said that will be $230. We said why so much. He told us we had to pay for his travel time and for the use of the equipment. Outrageous! We are on a fixed income. I am on the phone with their company right now, left me on hold came back and said this is how we've done it for 30 years. Well, I have never heard of charging for their travel time and I'm an RN and I have never charged for the use of my stethoscope! Find someone who will give you an honest and up front estimate.

Water heater gave up, came out pretty quick. Jonathan did an excellent job, very clean and tidy, very professional and very courteous. Would definitely use again and recommend. Thank you guys!!

Cameron Stone did a great job solving the problem. He even stayed to make sure it did happen again. Also showed me where I could look to see what was going on with water heater, really appreciated that. Highly recommend using Chris's plumbing.

Just had Jonathan M. from Chris’ Plumbing replace my garbage disposal. Excellent job. The one I had purchased would not fit. He explained why. He had one in his truck. Good price. I’ll return the one I purchased. All done. Friendly. Knowledgeable. Tidy. Polite.

Chris’s plumbing repiped my house 2 years ago. I had a knocking in my wall, it turns out had nothing to do with the repipe, and they came out until everything was fixed. They have amazing customer service, and 2 years later I just referred my neighbor. Although, it is 2 years later with everything going up, the job was not that more expensive than when I had it done. My neighbor has also been very pleased! Fair price, and good work is hard to come by in this world, but I would recommend.

Because of leaks, running water and low water pressure, we decided to get our old house repiped. Chris's Plumbing was one of the plumbers recommended on Nextdoor. We asked some friends who they would recommend and they immediately said Chris's Plumbing. We scheduled them for a quote but also got a couple of other quotes for comparison. They were the least expensive. They were able to come a few days later. After less than a day's work, all of our plumbing issues were solved. We now have water pressure that we could have only dreamed of. When the county inspector came, he found no issues and told us that they always did excellent work. We are happy with the results.

Cameron from Chris's Plumbing came out today to repair two toilets. He is very knowledgeable and experienced and was right away able to determine what the problems were. He then made all the necessary repairs and was done without wasting any time. Fast and friendly and efficient. Thanks Cameron!

Wayne, Monty and their crew did an amazing job in re-piping my entire home. They were both efficient and proficient in getting the job done. The job took 1 1/2 days and water was turned back on by mid- afternoon of the first day. They patiently explained what work they did and even went above and beyond by changing out some old PVC pipe on my pool pump. The entire crew- Monty, Wayne, Rob, Jacob, Gabe, Jeff, and Chaz were all very polite and considerate in ensuring my home was protected from foot traffic and was cleaned after completing the job. Thank you guys!!
