Constraction reviews in Sanford, Florida

Danilo, his brother, and the entire crew at Black Diamond Hardscape were absolutely great to work with. They were very friendly, responsive, knowledgeable and hard working. The job that they did with adding pavers onto our previous deck turned out amazing. We are very happy with the work they did, and would definitely recommend this company to others.

What an incredible company to work with. Truly a rare company these days. Far in advance of our pool being done, Dan with Black Diamond Hardscape came out and gave an estimate on a retaining wall to help finish off the landscaping for our pool. He explained the process, and worked with us as the pool slowly finished so that we get everything done timely. The design they created was spot on my vision of what I was looking for. Communication was excellent, and we communicated easily when something came up. Not only was the work completed with great craftsmanship in a difficult area, the site was left spotless with no construction debris left laying around. Can’t say enough about this company and the people that work for them.

What a great experience from beginning to end! Jeff made sure the design was exactly what I wanted throughout the entire process and checked in with me before anything permanent was done. He was patient with me and talked everything out while giving his input when needed.

Communication: 10/10
Design: 10/10
Quality of product and work: 10/10

Highly recommend!

My wife and I are thrilled with our new patio. Dan was fantastic to work with. We were not sure what we wanted at first, but Dan offered suggestions and great advice. His crew was incredible, they worked all day through the intense heat and built a beautiful patio. Highly recommend Black Diamond Hardscape.

I just want to share my experience I had with black diamond hardscape
They did a amazing transformation in my back yard I highly recommend thanks to Danilo and Jeferson for the amazing work

Dan and Jeff were very friendly from beginning to end!

They replaced my old concrete driveway to a Beautiful paver’s driveway with light on the boarders and beautiful landscape lighting too.

Take my word! This are the right guys for your project.

Danilo, Jefferson, and their team did an amazing job on our patio. You can tell they really take pride in and care about their company and their work. High attention to detail and very knowledgeable. Our neighbors are already asking who we went with, and we will highly recommend Black Diamond to them and others! Their prices are very reasonable and they were able to get us in quickly, which we were so appreciative of. It was an amazing Christmas present!

Wow - we were really, really impressed with Black Diamond. Not only did the team do a great job, they worked with amazing speed! They showed up in the afternoon, did most of the job, and were done by mid-morning the next day. The crew was super friendly; on top of that, they helped us do the last bits of prep work. All for a very fair price!

I would totally recommend Black Diamond for hardscape needs.

Danilo, Jeff, and his team are absolutely amazing. We had to get our pool deck completely redone due to a bad install from a pool company and I'm so glad we found Black Diamond. Danilo came out and provided me with quote very quickly -- their prices are very reasonable and competitive. They are the only paver contractor around Central Florida who has the tools and experience to lay slab pavers the correct way.
We also had them install a paver walkway leading to the pool and it turned out beautiful.
Danilo and his team exceeded all expectations. They are extremely thorough, took their time while completing the job, and their work speaks for itself as the quality is superior.
I can't thank Danilo enough for the work that his team did, they are not only extremely professional but full of integrity.

Thank you so much!!! :)

I had a wonderful experience with Black Diamond Hardscape and their installation of my landscape lighting! They were prompt, kind, clean and professional. I’m very happy with Black Diamond and I highly recommend them.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Dan and the team from Black Diamond were fantastic. They helped me design a much needed outdoor space and then installed it beautifully. Their team worked so hard in this brutal heat. I will definitely use them again when I do my driveway in pavers next year!

Black Diamond Hardscapes are amazing! When they say no matter how big or small your job is they will deliver, they mean it. The crew worked in this crazy heat in Florida and still paid close attention to detail. I will definitely be using them again for my future backyard projects.

Might be a little long but, this company deserves me sharing all that they did for us!

I wanted to take a moment to recommend Black Diamond Hardscape who really stepped up and went above and beyond! Two weeks ago we were really in a bind after a long and unfortunate ordeal with a different paver company. I had created a post as a sort of warning to others explaining all we had been through the last 8 months.

Dan from Black Diamond commented offering his help. We arranged a time to meet that next Monday. He showed up on time, we walked through our situation and what our hopes for our project would be and he was able to get us a quote by the next day. Our situation was unique because we had our pavers delivered but, our original contractor was on the run.

Dan really renewed our confidence and we decided to move forward with him and his team with a start date of the following Monday. Imagine my surprise when on Saturday a crew showed up to get a head start on prepping some of the areas for the following week! Believe me when I say after chasing the other guy around for as long as we did this was a welcome relief and an impressive start!

Dan’s crew showed up on time every morning. They were swift and impressive with how much they accomplished each day. They were tidy and cleaned up before leaving each evening. And they somehow performed miracles with getting all of our wish list done even when they were working within some limits not of their own creation because of the situation they inherited!

We will forever sing their praises!!! And I urge you to put them on your list if you are thinking about a paver or hardscape project. After such a terrible start, Black Diamond Hardscape did such a beautiful job and really turned everything around!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! They were extremely knowledgeable, professional and trustworthy! They had great ideas for our project and were extremely communicative throughout the entire process and the quality of work was superb! We have already recommended them to our friends and family and will continue to do so!!

Danilo and his brother and their whole team, were excellent. The team came and worked all day, they guys knew what they were doing and were professional and courteous.
We had a retaining wall torn down and had Black Diamond hardscape replace the unsafe retaining wall. Their work was so good that I added extra sections before they left!

I will use them again and would recommend them to a friend.

Highly recommended! Black Diamond Hardscape is incredible
Top quality, excellent communication, very professional and prices are very fair.

We are SUPER excited and satisfied for the work that Danilo and Jefferson did for us!!!

12/25/25: The quote they sent to me was very detailed.

12/17/25: Black Diamond Hardscape confirmed appointment on 12/17 @10AM but did not make it on time. Danilo did finally showed up later at 1PM with his brother. Danilo was very professional and gave me many suggestions on the design of the project to prevent erosion from my neighbor's yard coming to my yard that I have been experiencing for the past years. His company uses Belgard products. Danilo said he would email me quotes for three projects I wanted to get done. I will update this review if I choose this company to work on my landscaping project(s).

I recently had a patio installed. Jefferson worked with me to determine which color would be best for my home. The work was completed on time and professionally. There was a small area that was not draining properly which they corrected. I'm very happy with my new patio.

Honestly it was the most unpleasant experience ever. As I write this, they still have the equipment in my backyard and the project was “done” on Friday, today is Tuesday at 5pm.
We did an Ingroud trampoline that cost about $7500, the final product is horrible. The trampoline in unleveled, they tried to hide putting grass patches just around that area that’s unleveled and everywhere else there’s no patch’s of grass. They made a big mess and the cherry on top is that they left a plastic bag inside the Ingroud trampoline that I can’t take it 🤷‍♀️ also horrible communication!! To be fair they did a decent mulch job and that’s what the 1 star is for

Dan and Jeff are amazing people to work with. Their teams are very impressive and knowledgeable. Their services our top notch and they make sure everything is done with the highest quality for your home and outdoor areas. Their new pool company is been an amazing addition to their business. Please use them for any services outside for new or remodeling. Definitely 100/100 for this guys. Amazing and beautiful work.

Amazing results and customer service!
