It was a good experience and I would highly recommend Gary and his crew. They transformed my front yard into a very beautiful area. He gave me a quote in a short period of time and explained exactly what he thought should be done. It turned out beautiful and I couldn’t be happier. It was great working with all of them.

I'm an out-of-state owner of rental properties, I found Landscaping on a Budget thru a Google search. They immediately understood my needs as a fellow small business owner for good work on a rental property-friendly budget. On top of the fact that the property that they worked on looks fantastic, their communication was excellent and made me very comfortable as an absentee owner. The best testimonial is repeat business, and I'm hiring them to work on my other properties as well. The truth is I would hire them for my primary residence as well if I lived in the service area. I'm a happy customer.

We asked for a complete rework of our landscaping (sod, raised beds, flower beds, etc.). Gary and Patti came to our home, listened to our vision, and provided great insight and recommendations to compliment and fulfill our vision. The work was completed promptly and with great attention to detail. Anthony did the majority of the work and was professional and very personable. Pricing was very fair considering the extensive work we requested. Highly recommended for anyone requiring landscaping done with meticulous attention to detail.

This was our second experience with Gary and it was very good. As expected the job was done in time and with a very good quality. Gary's professionals removed some old shrubs and planted new flowers. Everything was done as we like it. Gary, thank you for the good service!

Gary and his guys did an amazing job transforming our yard from okay to absolutely gorgeous! He is highly professional and provided a lot of insight. Also, he went above and beyond what I expected when he made sure our newly installed grass was watered properly when I was unavailable.

We needed some areas to be refreshed around existing gardens in the front and back of our home. Gary and Patti were great about recommending plants to use and communicated well throughout the process, from beginning to end of job. The team that did the work were very professional, knowledgeable and completed the work ahead of schedule. We would highly recommend them.

We received two quotes to redo our flower beds and landscaping on a budget was cheaper, and Gary, who came out for the estimate very honest and personable. He has very hard workers that were easy to communicate with and had great attitude. The end result was a nice, fresh, organized flower bed that made our house look new. Would recommend this company!

We wanted to have a small stone wall built at the edge of our flower bed and were getting frustrated that most of the landscaping companies were not very interested, probably because it was a fairly small job in the scheme of things. Finally, I read a review on Nextdoor Neighbor about a company called Landscaping on a Budget! So I gave them a call, they came out within a day or two gave us a quote later that day. The quote was reasonable and they seemed to be very knowledgeable about what we were trying to accomplish so we decided to move forward with the project. Gary, his wife and crew did a great job and were a pleasure to do business with, good price, excellent work. I would highly recommend!

Poor communication and customer service, regular Sarasota-style small business. It's a waste of time to have business with them. Garry had an appointment with my husband. He visited our property, took pictures and promised to send an estimate. After that they had several phone conversations. But he several times forgot to send us estimate, his assistant forgot too. We called him again, sent him the same pictures, but in a week he forgot about us again. Then his assistant was fired, and his new assistant forgot about us and failed to send the estimate too. This "back and forth" took us about two month. Waste of time. I expect that response from Garry will be something like "I don't know this person" and "they want to destroy my business" )))))))))))

We hired Gary and his team to lay sod on our front and side yards. Gary explained the entire process and was very thorough. We received an estimate in a timely manner. Once we hired him, the job was scheduled promptly and completed in the time frame. The installers, Anthony and Brian were not only professional, but they are pleasant and take pride in what they do. We wouldn’t think twice about hiring them again for another project. We highly recommend!!

This could have been such a wonderful experience. Gary’s design for my landscaping was beautiful, but the execution, communication, customer service, and follow through were abysmal. Unfortunately, I am not permitted enough characters to fully explain the experience, but suffice it to say that I paid him more than some people paid for their cars, and all I got was some weeding, a bunch of flowers that will never thrive because they were planted improperly, a $1280 irrigation repair bill, and a headache. It seems to be Gary’s style to respond to these types of reviews by spewing vitriol, but the fact remains that he did us wrong. He knows it; his crew knows it; and the contractors who had to clean up his mess know it.

My yard looked horrible until I hired Landscaping on a budget. Now it looks beautiful and I'm not embarrassed when people come over to visit. They responded quickly to my initial inquiry, came to my home and put together a beautiful plan for my yard. I loved that they arrived when they said they would arrive and they made sure I knew what I needed to do to keep all the plants alive before they left. When they were done, they made sure to clean up after themselves which was a lot of dirt and shrubs that were pulled. I will definitely use them again

It seems there is some kind of review bomb campaign on review sites by Internet shills against Landscaping on a Budget. Not sure why. Keep in mind, this is an honest review by a real customer.

We contracted Landscaping on a Budget for some basic yard work, hardscaping and removal of dirt mounds. Joyce at the front desk is terrific, friendly and personable. Gary was knowledgeable and offered us a fair quote.

After the frustrating experience of trying to get a previous firm to actually come out when they say they will, I l finally choose one who overcharged for the end result which I ended up having to rip out it was so bad. I saw a recommendation locally for Gary of Landscaping on a Budget
Gary was easy to deal with put together a beautiful design at a much better price then others. I am thrilled with my experience with them , so much that I had them also do one of my rental properties which also came out great.
Always responsive , great service, great prices and a nice guy. You will not be disappointed.

I called Landscape on a Budget to get an estimate for our yard and driveway and they came right away and were on time to give us an estimate. Gary was good about guiding us to the right plants for our location. The work crew was very efficient and professional.
When you call or email the office, you WILL get a call or email back. I feel they are an honest business and they care about their customers satisfaction.

Not a pro. I asked him to make beds and to cut edges for those beds. Instead he dumped a pile of loam on my lawn and then put mulch on top of the loam. The workers left rubbish on my lawn, failed to actually plant all of the plants, and generally did a messy job. Additionally, after we made it clear we did not want any loam stored on our lawn (because of the difficulty of removing it without harming the lawn) the workers moved the left over loam from our driveway, on to the lawn. I would avoid this group.

As an update, the owner does not take criticism well (as evidenced by his complaints, below, about four-star reviews.) When I texted him pictures of his messy job and complained about the trash he left behind and the quality of his work, he called me a psychotic with anger issues. Strange way to run a business.

As a further update (in response to Gary's odd response): Gary, I am not going to make any comment about your bizarre claim regarding my wife, other than to offer it as more evidence that you REALLY do not take criticism well. I have also added one of the photos I sent to you so readers can see the debris and loam you left on my lawn. I'm sure you have good days when you do good work, but you definitely have days when your work is poor. Next time, deal with the complaint, make it right, and avoid bad reviews.

We had reached out to the landscaping company we have used in the past, but they weren't available until August. They referred us to Gary, who came out the same day and gave us a quote and plan that evening. We said OK, sent a deposit, and they were out the very next day to do the project! We are so pleased. They first had to remove some very old plantings with deep roots. The two young men doing the work really earned their pay!! We are thrilled with the results! It opened up our view to the beautiful lake behind us. I highly recommend Gary and his employees!

Gary went out of his way to do the job he did for me. Literally, I was outside his work space and he drove extra miles to do what he did. He transformed my house. And even though, unfortunately, I had to sell it I’m sure the price I sold it for had a lot to do with his work. He’s worth every penny and more.

These guys did a good job for me, sod, metal edging, weed barrier, stone, etc. Hard work and reasonable price, responsive to my concerns. Recommended.

We just had our landscaping done by Gary Bushorr aka Landscaping on a budget. Our landscaping came out above our expectations. Gary was in the hospital and things weren’t going quite as plan. Gary got out of the hospital and that very same day was at our house and positioned the project back on course. The out comes of this project are remarkable and we are getting great compliments and feedback from our neighbors. His landscaping crew lead by Joe were professional and amazing! The office crew Pattie and her assistant were pleasant to work with as well!

I highly recommend Landscaping on a Budget! They developed a plan with a detailed sketch. Sent pictures of the flowers to be used and worked out ways to complete the job saving as much money as possible. During the installation the crew discovered a severe irrigation leak and had to pause the work. They managed to get an irrigation crew out to do the repairs within 2 hours after I called around and could not get anyone out until the next day. I also had an old flower bed taken out and replaced with sod. They even refunded $200.00 for the unused sod. Gary and his team are fantastic!!
