Pools Next Door provides excellent pool service, repair, rehab, etc. The owners, Michael and Cindy Sparks, are truly good people and they employ a qualified and conscientious staff. We appreciate them so much, especially after catastrophic flooding from Hurricane Helene fall of 2024. We have complete confidence in them and you will too!

We just moved back to Florida and were in need of a good pool service! Called and spoke to Robert regarding setting up weekly service. They were able to get us the schedule and have someone out there the same week. Calvin is our technician and we could not be more happy with his professionalism. He is amazing! Very informative and an awesome personality! Thanks Calvin for taking great care of our pool!

Our salt system and filters, pumps and weekly services with Pools Next Door are the best experience compared to other over several years. Highly recommended. Kenny is knowledgeable, courteous and always shows up with the right chemicals and tools to service.

We recently changed pool maintenance companies to Pools Nextdoor for our condominium association. Very pleased with the service, quick response to all our questions, excellent on follow up to repairs, and all at a reasonable price. Great work, thank you....!!!!

We loved our prior pool company, but Pools Next Door offered a far more cost-effective cleanup service after the Hurricane and continue to provide great service to us, especially Ken. He takes great care of our pool and is a fantastic resource for us to understand care and maintenance of our very first home with a pool. We have had only very positive experiences with them!

I have been customer of Pools Next Door for a couple of years now. They have always been reliable and efficient. When I have had issues with my pool, they have been responsive. I have had friendly, professional, knowledgeable and helpful pool techs. I had an issue with my system over the weekend and got a callback from Michael, who was very helpful and troubleshooting with me and getting my system back up and running. My current tech, Kenny, is very friendly and polite and respectful, as well as doing a great job keeping my pool looking at its best.

I am a fairly new customer, about 2 months, and so far I've been very pleased. They are timely and the photos we receive after our weekly service is great, along with simplified statement on the condition of our pool. They are very accommodating to the fact that I have a large guard dog. One week I was not home to bring the dog in, and the technician simply said "no problem, I'll come back tomorrow." On another occasion, the technician emptied out water from our pool to where my wife inquired why. The technician was very detailed on answering the questions and providing the reason. They are very interested in preventing costly repairs with proactive actions. Yes, these proactive actions cost money, but it's better than replacing something that's in the thousands. Nick has been phenomenal.

Spoke to Robert about some items i wanted done to our pool and was extremely confident in what we discussed. Was told the techs would be out the next day and they were !

After I was ghosted by my previous pool company, Pools Next Door got my pool back in shape in no time and Nick has kept it crystal clear and beautiful ever since. Can't recommend enough, they're awesome!

Although we have only had Josh for a short time for our pool service guy, he is outstanding. Very thorough and professional. Explained things, answered questions and took note of concerns we had. Pools Nextdoor is also very responsive with answering questions and emails. Nice people to deal with. I would highly recommend them.

When we purchased our home our new pool wasn't so new. Pools Next Door was not only responsive to our request for an estimate they provided the best estimate. Our pool underwent such a transformation. Every person who came to our home was kind, respectful, and most important knowledgeable. We enjoyed having them and watching our pool come to life. Definitely recommend. Oh and LED light is definitely worth it.

So far Pools Next Door has been great. They came out twice the week before/of Christmas to get us started and the pool is already looking way better. Terry also came out and was very informative and helpful, answering my questions.

We have used Pools Next Door for repairs and general maintenance and cleanings since 2022. Services they have performed for us include new equipment, a saltwater conversion, pool heater installation, automatic timers and fillers, new tile, and resurfacing. Our regular techs, Calvin and Kenny, do a good job with the cleanings, balancing chemicals, and making sure the pool is looking good and ready for use. They also have no problem explaining what they are doing or answering our questions. We appreciate their work.

Do NOT recommend! PLEASE read my response after owner commented. Bottom line, this company DID NOT follow through with what they said they would do once they had my CC on file. There is loads of room for improvement in communication! There are marks against this company on BBB. Maybe as new customers we had higher hopes with a better outcome. We are wondering how there are so many good reviews but service for us has been disappointing to say the least. We were charged a higher rate of course since the pool was in such poor condition with loads of algae and very dirty. Yes chemicals were added Monday, the sides were brushed but there is unbelievable amounts of debris still sitting in numerous areas of the pool floor. The pool is no where near clear…this is now day 4, they were here Monday. We paid for pool vacuuming, that has yet to be done. We were told our service tech would be back out to check the pool in a couple of days due to the condition. That has not happened! The pool pump was turned on by the service employee and has run continuously without the timer being adjusted because remember he was to return in a couple of days. No one has checked or returned to evaluate. We were told they would have someone out Friday to make repairs on the piping but we are not confident that will happen either. We were interested in having our older pool renovated but with this poor service right off the bat we will look at other companies that may be more customer oriented and have a great work ethic. The old saying, “first impressions” are so important! Can’t wait to see how the owner replies to our review. It is clear from his other responses to negative reviews he quickly places blame on the customer instead of assuring good customer service and delivering excellent pool care. Sadly we would not recommend Pools Nextdoor.
RESPONSE after owner responded on Google***First let me say, Pools Nextdoor open at 9:00 am. I called their office Friday morning at 8:58am, no one answered so I left a message asking for someone to assist with clarifying why the pool looked worse than when they first treated it on Monday and to verify if in fact the repairs would take place. We did not receive a call until 4:23 pm Friday afternoon saying due to my 1 Star Review no one would be out and repairs would not be made. They did offer to refund my money as well as try and make this right. As a consumer I did call BBB today, Friday 06/27/25, there is currently a complaint against this business. Please let me share as well Robbie is excellent at gaining your business but not communicating well nor following through. If there had been better communication and honesty from the start, they may have kept our business.

Pools Next Door has been great to work with. Kenny is professional, knowledgeable, and always shows up on time. He explains what’s going on with the pool and makes sure everything is running perfectly before he leaves. Reliable service and great results every visit—highly recommend Pools Next Door and Kenny.

Next Door Pools have been satisfactory until I was assigned my recent Tech Kristy. Wow! She treats my pool like its her own. Always going the extra effort during these crazy wind events. She arrives no matter the weather treating the task like its sunny and 70. I'm very pleased with her results as well as her pleasant attitude even in the worst conditions. Finally, a PRO!

I had an overwhelmingly positive experience with Pools Next Door. Terry and AJ were outstanding—professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough while repairing my pool. They communicated clearly throughout the process and made sure everything was done right the first time. The quality of their work exceeded my expectations, and my pool looks and functions perfectly now. I highly recommend Pools Next Door and especially Terry and AJ for anyone needing pool repairs.

This company came out to do an acid wash on my pool. Did a decent job on the pool. However, they destroyed the hand rail carelessly. It had rusted dots all over it. Called and asked for someone to clean it up. They said it wasn’t their problem and that ACID would never rust a hand rail. (WRONG) but would send someone out to clean it. They sent someone who didn’t even clean it properly, only cleaned the top and left residue all over our lanai. Called back again, the owner says “He doesn’t care” instead of apologizing. All I asked was for them to come back and clean it properly. Proves my point exactly about being careless. Definitely would not recommend this company. Such a shame. Wish I could give 0 stars! First 4 pictures are before and 4 are after they came out to clean it. Residue left all over. BEWARE!

Our pool is typically inundated with leaves due to the oak trees around our house, it’s been hard to find a pool company that can help us keep up. Pools Next door has been able to do the job! Kristy our tech is absolutely AMAZING! She communicates when she will be arriving so that we can put up our dogs and has helped us to keep our pool in tip top shape. Very happy to be with this company and they are lucky to have such a hard worker in Kristy.

10 star service! They were originally recommended to me by a competitor of theirs. Robert is who I met with initially and did an amazing job explaining things and answering any questions I had. I needed my mom’s pool completely resurfaced as well as a few other things. They were able to take care of everything and make her pool look awesome! The quote they gave me was a far better price than the others I got. I didn’t feel at anytime it was just about the money for them. You can tell the owner here cares about each job they do. Huge thank you to Robert! Also a huge thank you to Michael and Cindy! Cindy was so sweet to me on the phone when I first called in! :) I will definitely be recommending this family owned company to everyone I know!
