i have work with zito landscaping for over ten years, when we bought our house the property was a bare canvass and john design a tropical paradise with complete privacy from my neighbors and from the view of the road.

with a very professional team showing up on time and always leaving our property better after they are gone.

CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT ZITO LANDSCAPING!!!!

This is a proud family operation and that is apparent in their work and professionalism from the first phone call to finishing touches. Chris, the son and landscape architect, was a pleasure to work with, presenting a well thought out rendering and landscape plan, including everything I asked for. He listens and is completely upfront about not being the cheapest for a reason. Honestly the project was considerably more than I expected but I would hire them again. It’s worth it to pay for quality work and avoid any headaches (I learned that the hard way). Their staff were professional, always in uniform, and left zero mess. John, the dad, has been in the business for over 40 years I believe, and knows his stuff. I had no doubt that my plants would be good quality and planted properly. Chris called and texted, keeping me informed throughout the process, and simply to make sure I was happy every step of the way. These are true, honest and talented professionals, which is extremely rare to find in south Florida.

I’m a building manager on Fort Lauderdale and for many years have dealt with landscaping companies and designers.
In all my years I’ve never experienced the level of professionalism and landscaping business acumen as I have with Zito (Chris Zito). Here is their vector of differentiation:

- response time: not only does Chris respond quickly, he actually calls the client to ensure that their expectations are exceeded. He will ask questions like- “how are the podocarpus doing!” Or “maybe that isn’t the right location for the Lantanas”

- passion for detail. Chris is an expert in this area. He knows project management inside and out and ensures that he covers every detail in the plans he proposes.

- oversight - Chris will always go to the jobs and check the work. His workers are given specific assignments and he ensures all is done correctly.

Chris has a passion for his profession and that is readily seen the first time you meet. He will make sure you understand the plan and costs and is open for questions almost at any time.

We used Zito Landscape for a couple small and really big projects at my work, They made everything from planning to payment so simple! They walked me through the design process and follow up care for all the flowers and plants they planted. Best of all is whenever we needed anything from more direction on caring for the landscape to help with our irrigation they were always there to help.

John Zito and his son Chris are not only highly competent in landscape design but they are good people. We acquired a home in Hollywood, FL and interviewed no less than a dozen landscape firms. As soon as I hung up the phone after speaking with John, I told my wife, “that’s who we need to hire.” On the phone John struck me as a great communicator, highly intelligent, a good listener, and very professional. When John visited our property with Chris, we were even more pleased to see their creative talents and enthusiasm for their work. With quick turnaround time, they returned with a concept plan that incorporated our all our wishes yet introduced several exciting concepts we had not considered. After we formally engaged the Company to begin the installation, they started the work right away and John and Chris were on site daily. They not only made sure that the work was being performed correctly but identified adjustments to the plan that would enhance the original design. Once they initiated the work, the same reliable and respectful crew was on site everyday until it was completed. Throughout the process we were consulted on every step, including the precise selection of plant varieties and hardscape materials, and care was taken on their part to make sure we stayed within our budget. Words cannot possibly describe the finished project. The closest I can come is simply “Shangri-La”. Do not take my word for it, as every friend and neighbor that has visited our home has marveled at its qualities of tropical paradise. John and Chris created something that went so much farther than we could have imagined. They changed our home into a retreat and we had so much fun working with them along the journey. It was not an inexpensive project but it is worth every penny. We also cannot put a value on the comfort that comes in working with trustworthy people. Zito Landscape will be returning quarterly to maintain the property and we are glad that we will be staying in touch with the entire work crew that have become great friends. We recommend John and Chris without a single equivocation. We have worked with landscape design companies in several areas of the country and we are quite confident when we say that they are the class of South Florida.

The Zito team of John and Chris along with their staff transformed a small space into a welcoming landscape. Chris listened to my wish list and designed the space creating warmth and color with plentiful of textures that blend so well to the homes look. John contributed with his wealth of experience and knowledge of plants and engaging personality. They were involved throughout the project. When a hiccup came about it didn't take long for them to resolve it as a true professional would do. The staff is courteous, focused and hard working.

I’m so happy I chose Zito Landscaping to remodel my backyard. The price was significantly more than I’d expected to pay (they were pretty upfront about this, though, with a detailed proposal and cost estimate), but I would choose them all over again, so I don’t regret it. They are a top notch, creative, and professional team. Chris, the project manager, is smart, conscientious and extremely professional. John, the owner, has many years of creative experience and beautiful design ideas. He is warm, kind and perceptive. They both worked well together, along with their assistant, Akiko (a talented designer), to create a stunning and private backyard oasis. My husband and I love it, and our guests tell us that the new design makes our yard look so much larger, something John had promised would happen. Their employees were courteous and competent, and they left our backyard neat and clean after each day of work, which was much appreciated! After the project was completed, there were a few minor details that needed fixing or attending to, and they took care of all of them right away -even better than I’d expected - and all that after I’d already paid the final balance (they’re trustworthy). It’s not easy to find honest, reliable, and quality contractors in South Florida - these guys are it! I highly recommend them.

Zito Landscape Design helped us transform our newly purchased property in Boca Raton. The design process was great, Chris and Akiko gave us plenty of options, while allowing us to specify any particulars we wanted. Their crew cleaned our all of our old landscaping and then revisited the plans so that we made sure they still made sense. Their crew did a fantastic job of not only showing up early and working late, but making sure that the entire worksite was completely clean after each day. The results are amazing and we love our beautiful new landscaping.

WOW! Amazing company to work with and incredibly professional. Chris and his father John are very hands on throughout the project and they have best in class work crew. We just completed Phase I which was the major landscaping to our yard inclusive of lighting and irrigation system. Chris and his team have impeccable attention to detail. The knowledge and expertise that Zito displays through his work is unmatched. Zito did the entire front and back of the house and executed extremely quick. If I was able to give a 10 star review I would, because Chris and his team go above and beyond to make sure every little detail is exactly how you want it!

We don't have much experience in landscape design but I'm afraid Zito has ruined our chances of ever turning to anyone else for future projects; these guys are the real deal. We needed ideas, guidance, creativity on a budget friendly concept - they brought that, and then some. Couldn't be happier with the way our garden turned out and we're looking forward to working with them again.

We've used Zito for projects at 3 houses. He, Chris, and the crew are great. around our house, he's called, "the Davinci of the dirt". the work is combination of art, science, and inspiration. when we bought are last house. Joanne's only comment was, We need to get John in here to transform the backyard.... AND TRANSFORM he did.
