Everyone at Zito Landscape Design has been a pleasure to work with. They drew up a beautiful scheme for our property in Miami Beach, and gave meticulous attention to every detail of planning and implementation. Chris Zito was clear and communicative, running all the ideas and estimates by us with ample time for input. Our house has some of the best and most unique landscaping in the neighborhood now! All custom but very reasonable pricing for the quality of service and execution. Bravo!

I contacted Zito Landscape Design for a front-yard landscaping estimate. After briefly explaining what I needed, the initial receptionist transferred me to another representative. Unfortunately, the tone changed immediately: at one point during the short conversation, he stated, “Just so you know, all of our projects start at $15 K,” as if gauging whether I was worth his time.

I assured him the price range wasn’t an issue; he took my name and number and promised to text or call- but I never heard back. Based on that dismissive, almost condescending first impression, the lack of follow-up was hardly a surprise.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this interaction should be documented. First-time callers-and customers in general-deserve courtesy and basic professionalism, regardless of project size or budget.

I can't say enough good things about Zito Landscape Design. They are experts at design, coming up with great ideas and working with you to refine them. Our project was multi-faceted with pool, deck, paver, irrigation and electrical work, and they were very patient and accommodating. Chris Zito is great to work with - he's helps you understand the landscaping decisions, addressing any and all issues. The plant installation went smoothly, and the crew was super professional, careful and tidy. The results of our patio transformation are spectacular - beyond our expectations. Highly recommend. Amazing experience working with Zito Landscape! Chris and the whole team did a fantastic job communicating and keeping me updated before, during, and after our projects. The proposals and execution of both our back yard and front yard exceeded expectations. As an added bonus, they even connected us with a fence company and pergola company to assist with those pieces of our project while coordinating between each other to ensure HOA and city requirements were met and renovations were completed in an organized manner. Seriously impressed and will definitely be using their services again in the future!

Amazing!! The team at Zito Landscape Design did such a beautiful job on our landscape. They were a pleasure to work with start to finish. Chris was so communicative throughout the whole process and left no questions unanswered. The design was even better than we envisioned. John was also so helpful and gave us such creative ideas. All employees were kind, courteous, and efficient. The job was no easy feat considering the shape it was in, but they completed it in about 3 days. Highly highly recommend!

The Zito team came to our midcentury modern house with such energy and responsiveness that we knew we'd be very happy with the results before even starting work. You will get a detailed consultation followed by a beautiful drawing of your new garden with photos and descriptions of all the plants, rocks and lights they plan to use.

Once started in earnest, the work itself was professional and they always showed up on time when they said they would.

In the end our garden is exactly how we had envisioned it and full of native plants while keeping the jungle vibe and fitting in with the neighborhood.

I cannot recommend Zito enough, if you have the chance to work with them take it!

Outstanding work and detail working with Chris and John on a zen garden design for my front and back yard. At first I was slightly intimated calling this company because their past work has been on large properties. I have a smaller front and back yard. However, I was given the red carpet treatment with a lot of attention and detail to the concept of my design. Chris and his team did a great job translating concept to reality and the outcome were breathtaking views of a peaceful zen environment surrounding the outside parameter of my home. Huge transformation. Truly talented professionals and easy to work with. They treat you like family. I definitely recommend Zito Landscape and Design and love this locally owned family business.

“EXCEPTIONAL” If I only had one word to describe Zito Landscape Design it would be exceptional. Over the past 20 years my family has used several landscaping companies to design, supplement or maintain our yard. The results have been mixed to say the least. When it came time to redesign our backyard our meeting with John Zito and his team set the bar at a whole new level. Their attention to detail and incorporation of our design aesthetic were second to none. They did several site visits and gained an understanding of which areas of our yard were dry, which areas were wet, which areas had sun exposure and at what times of the day, etc. All of this knowledge and surveying of the property were evident in the final design. But most importantly, Zito did not just fill our yard with plant materials we picked out of a catalog because we liked how they looked. They did not hesitate to say “No” to us if the plant material would not do well in the designated area but worked with us to come up with an alternative suitable for the location. When the crew arrived to do the work, they were efficient, professional and conscientious about every detail (how refreshing!). They were organized, clean and departed each afternoon without leaving a single bit of debris behind.
It has been several months since the completion of our back yard and the area just keeps improving as the plants mature. Our experience with Zito Landscape Design has been an absolute pleasure and we couldn’t recommend them more highly.

Zito Landscaping did an incredible job on the Rivera Residence. Easily one of the best landscape projects we’ve ever completed. Zito landscaping was amazing. Chris spent over 8 hours with us helping us think through the design and scope of the project. This was something that other landscaping companies didn't offer without charging a ton of money just for the plan. Chris was patient and provided great insights on which plants would work best with our vision. The entire installation was well run, timely, and organized. Each day they were clear on what would get done and what was remaining. Any issues were discussed. As a result our home looks amazing. We'll use Zito for the back-yard and the atrium we have planned. Would highly recommend them to anyone that wants to redesign their landscaping. They stand out and exceed expectations.
