Chris (our lead contact), Akiko and John were all very professional, creative and responsive to our needs and preferences when redesigning our back yard. They were able to incorporate everything we requested while providing new recommendations and wonderful ideas that we didn’t think of prior to reaching out to them. They were able to transform our backyard into a little zen oasis. We just completed our first phase of the project & we are extremely pleased. The Zito team of John and Chris along with their staff transformed a small space into a welcoming landscape. Chris listened to my wish list and designed the space creating warmth and color with plentiful of textures that blend so well to the homes look. John contributed with his wealth of experience and knowledge of plants and engaging personality. They were involved throughout the project. When a hiccup came about it didn't take long for them to resolve it as a true professional would do. The staff is courteous, focused and hard working.

I’m so happy I chose Zito Landscaping to remodel my backyard. The price was significantly more than I’d expected to pay (they were pretty upfront about this, though, with a detailed proposal and cost estimate), but I would choose them all over again, so I don’t regret it. They are a top notch, creative, and professional team. Chris, the project manager, is smart, conscientious and extremely professional. John, the owner, has many years of creative experience and beautiful design ideas. He is warm, kind and perceptive. They both worked well together, along with their assistant, Akiko (a talented designer), to create a stunning and private backyard oasis. My husband and I love it, and our guests tell us that the new design makes our yard look so much larger, something John had promised would happen. Their employees were courteous and competent, and they left our backyard neat and clean after each day of work, which was much appreciated! After the project was completed, there were a few minor details that needed fixing or attending to, and they took care of all of them right away -even better than I’d expected - and all that after I’d already paid the final balance (they’re trustworthy). It’s not easy to find honest, reliable, and quality contractors in South Florida - these guys are it! I highly recommend them.

Zito Landscape Design helped us transform our newly purchased property in Boca Raton. The design process was great, Chris and Akiko gave us plenty of options, while allowing us to specify any particulars we wanted. Their crew cleaned our all of our old landscaping and then revisited the plans so that we made sure they still made sense. Their crew did a fantastic job of not only showing up early and working late, but making sure that the entire worksite was completely clean after each day. The results are amazing and we love our beautiful new landscaping.

WOW! Amazing company to work with and incredibly professional. Chris and his father John are very hands on throughout the project and they have best in class work crew. We are blown away by how quickly the work was completed as well as the care, follow up, and attention to detail given by Zito Landscape Design. We just completed Phase I which was the major landscaping to our yard inclusive of lighting and irrigation system. We are about to embark on Phase II with them which will be the hardscaping work and additional landscaping add on's. Cannot wait to start on Phase II and see our yard come to completion. Chris and his team have impeccable attention to detail. The knowledge and expertise that Zito displays through his work is unmatched. Zito did the entire front and back of the house and executed extremely quick. If I was able to give a 10 star review I would, because Chris and his team go above and beyond to make sure every little detail is exactly how you want it!

We don't have much experience in landscape design but I'm afraid Zito has ruined our chances of ever turning to anyone else for future projects; these guys are the real deal. We needed ideas, guidance, creativity on a budget friendly concept - they brought that, and then some. Couldn't be happier with the way our garden turned out and we're looking forward to working with them again.

We've used Zito for projects at 3 houses. He, Chris, and the crew are great. around our house, he's called, "the Davinci of the dirt". the work is combination of art, science, and inspiration. when we bought are last house. Joanne's only comment was, We need to get John in here to transform the backyard.... AND TRANSFORM he did.

Everyone at Zito Landscape Design has been a pleasure to work with. They drew up a beautiful scheme for our property in Miami Beach, and gave meticulous attention to every detail of planning and implementation. Chris Zito was clear and communicative, running all the ideas and estimates by us with ample time for input. Our house has some of the best and most unique landscaping in the neighborhood now! All custom but very reasonable pricing for the quality of service and execution. Bravo!

I contacted Zito Landscape Design for a front-yard landscaping estimate. After briefly explaining what I needed, the initial receptionist transferred me to another representative. Unfortunately, the tone changed immediately: at one point during the short conversation, he stated, “Just so you know, all of our projects start at $15 K,” as if gauging whether I was worth his time.

I assured him the price range wasn’t an issue; he took my name and number and promised to text or call- but I never heard back. Based on that dismissive, almost condescending first impression, the lack of follow-up was hardly a surprise.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this interaction should be documented. First-time callers-and customers in general-deserve courtesy and basic professionalism, regardless of project size or budget.

I can't say enough good things about Zito Landscape Design. They are experts at design, coming up with great ideas and working with you to refine them. Our project was multi-faceted with pool, deck, paver, irrigation and electrical work, and they were very patient and accommodating. Chris Zito is great to work with - he's helps you understand the landscaping decisions, addressing any and all issues. The plant installation went smoothly, and the crew was super professional, careful and tidy. The results of our patio transformation are spectacular - beyond our expectations. Highly recommend. Amazing experience working with Zito Landscape! Chris and the whole team did a fantastic job communicating and keeping me updated before, during, and after our projects. The proposals and execution of both our back yard and front yard exceeded expectations. As an added bonus, they even connected us with a fence company and pergola company to assist with those pieces of our project while coordinating between each other to ensure HOA and city requirements were met and renovations were completed in an organized manner. Seriously impressed and will definitely be using their services again in the future!

In short: Hire them!

The Zito team came to our midcentury modern house with such energy and responsiveness that we knew we'd be very happy with the results before even starting work. You will get a detailed consultation followed by a beautiful drawing of your new garden with photos and descriptions of all the plants, rocks and lights they plan to use.

Once started in earnest, the work itself was professional and they always showed up on time when they said they would.

In the end our garden is exactly how we had envisioned it and full of native plants while keeping the jungle vibe and fitting in with the neighborhood.

I cannot recommend Zito enough, if you have the chance to work with them take it!
