Landscaping reviews in Southwest Ranches, Florida

Corteous and responsive at initial contact, gave me estimated figures on the spot. Mentioned he could even bring the price down because he owns a nursery. After initial quote; which based on other quotes received, online research and the initial figures he had mentioned, I believe it was overpriced. I asked for a revised quote and still haven’t heard from them. If you like saving your money I would suggest shopping around with landscapers in Davie or Sunrise, they offer more competitive prices.

Only 2 stars because I beleive they want to do a good job, but just couldn't make that happen. Started out with many promises but in the end, communication problems, etc. Never repaired hurricane damage but kept promising they would. Actually said they "did" repair but that was totally false. Never were proactive in maintaining mulch, rocks, trimming. Allowed broken sprinkler heads to remain broken for days and weeks before I just called another company to come fix - with next day service.
I think managing a business and performing the work prove to be difficult for them. Nice guys though, so I wish them luck in figuring it out! Had to let them go.

Thank you The Landscaping People!. We called them for a cleanup after the hurricane IRMA. They Answered the phone when nobody was reachable. They scheduled a date for the cleanup and In one day my house turned from a complete mess to a beautiful landscaping again.

We went out looking for a crepe myrtle and Daniel recommended a tree specie I hadn’t seen and it turned out great. Great place with different looking plants. Organized and neat place to walk around. Plants are beautiful! Glad we stopped to check this place out.

The Landscaping People where very professional and do a beautiful job. I have now used them 3 times in the last 3 years for different projects. They show up on time and they clean up after themselves. The provide great customer service.

Based on prior reviews I was really looking forward to possibly using this company. I met with Tomás Arroyo last week for a consultation. I am still waiting on a quote. Additionally, he told me I could go to the showroom in Weston to see their work and ideas. I told him I have closings in Weston on Friday so I would stop by. I went to the address on the business card he provided, and to my dismay there was no showroom there. I called the office the receptionist was short with me. I called Tomás and he gave me excuses. I am happy that we did not get to do business together. Based on my initial experience, I feel I would be highly frustrated.

Danny and his crews are great to work with. My yard has never looked better and they are easy to work with. My Forman , Tomas, is easy to contact and is always looking out for what’s best for my yard, shrubs, and trees.

The Landscaping People is a very professional landscaping service! There biweekly/weekly lawn service is superb and their other landscaping services a great as well(planting, trimming hedges/ficus, mulching, etc.). They respond promptly to any text or phone call and arrive on time for service. I would highly recommend this company.

I found this company just before hurricane Irma when we moved in to our new home. All of the estimates we received were comparable in cost but I liked how interested Tomas was in my project and my future plans for my yard so I hired them to clear the property and for regular cutting and maintenance. A crew of 5 or 6 very nice and professional men came out and worked on my property until it was spotless. I was very impressed! Then the storm hit us and everything was a mess again. Daniel sent out a comforting email letting us know that they would be there for their customers. The day after I called Tomas to come out, they were there. Mikey also came out and took care of some very large stumps and roots that were left and he planted several replacement trees for us.
They are prompt and they over deliver on their promises. This team is a winning combination in my book!

Adriana, unfortunately I have to give The Landscaping People this review. The disconnect between you and your team/ (TLP) is affecting your customers (our) satisfaction.

The landscaping people where hired to provide maintenance service Two times per month but you insist to do a biweekly visit/service. Even though we agree to set a two visit per month with a fixed rate, your people insisted to charge a fee per visit and do it biweekly increasing invoicing on those months with 5 weeks. After reviewing this with you the invoicing and visits continue as biweekly. On top of that, the service provided was one visit for "cut only" and the second for maintenance of one specific area, leaving the property completely out of proper maintenance. Reviewing this with your people in more than 2 occasions, they insisted on doing only one visit for main and the second or third for maintenance.

Last visit of your people (Monday) was to cut only, but they came back on Tuesday!!?? To clean the palm trees ?? Cleaning the palm trees full of coconut. They set down in the front of our house to drink coconut water for 1+hours.

If I show you the way our property looks after your service and cleaning of the palm trees, you would understand mi -10 review as well as our service cancelation request.

We were expecting to get a credit for the two months of wrong charges but instead we got your last invoice for the 1 last visit.

Hope you learn eventually how to listen to your customers.

Daniel and the Landscaping People took extra care of my yard. They were punctual and professional. They started and finished the project immediately. The yard looked amazing after they were finished and they cleaned everything up. I would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting a great job at a fair price! In fact, I hired them again to do another property I own based on my first experience. A plus team!

Replacement of sod, planting new bushes, flowers, etc, Mulching and general landscape cleanup.

Ok, here we go. We have had a few different landscapers throughout the years, we were not so thrilled with. We started the vetting process for a landscaping company and started with a company that had good referrals, nice properties on their website.. Very well-known throughout our area. They did have good quality yet once we received the pricing , it led us to look for a different company. Here comes Daniel/ Tomas and the Landscaping People. These guys are very professional, nice, easy to speak with and provide a MUCH higher quality product with a terrific crew. The pricing is very reasonable/ competitive and worth EVERY penny ( cant put a price on peace of mind.) They came out and did the initial clean out, now we have them come every week. One time during the week, a gentleman came out in a truck. He was walking around the property, I went outside and asked him what's going on. He said I'm just taking a look at the property to make sure we're doing a good job and to see if there's anything that we recommend. They sent over a quote with some of the recommendations. To me, that's very professional and the sign of a well run business. I did have an issue with one of the invoices, I called them, they took care of it immediately. You can always tell how great a company is by the way they respond to problems/issues. I WOULD recommend these guys to anyone and I have.

The Landscaping People team did an outstanding job at my home.
We called them and they showed up the very same day and we had an estimate that evening. When we approved it, they promptly came with a large crew so that the work could be done quickly.
They did a wonderful job of improving our yard including re-landscaping the main front yard to greatly improve curb appeal.
We are very pleased.
