The guys at Cournoyer are key members of our real estate investment team. From rehabbing and re-positioning of distressed properties to maintaining rentals, they are professional, fair, and very responsive. Their use of technology (YouTube, Trello, etc.) is especially helpful for out of state investors. Can't recommend enough!

I invested in a transitional property that needed a lot of work to bring rents to market and keep costs in check. As an out of state investor, I needed to leverage my resources as much as possible to be successful. Luckily, my property management company and Cournoyer Building work hand in hand to bring forward solutions depending on your goals (for me increase rent, reduce costs, and refinance). They made it a hands off approach where they would bring me options and a detailed planned and budget to optimize the profitability of the units--please note that for all my projects the budget was in line which is crucial, exemplifying their diligence to make sure there aren't material cost overruns. As a result of that, the entire exterior of my property was revamped with less recurring maintenance. We also took on a lot of internal renovation of the units which helped boost rents significantly. One unit alone increased rents by over 45% (from $795/mo to $1,175). This enabled us to refinance the property and I cashed out way more than I expected allowing me the liquidity to further invest--now my property is just cashflowing as I look for the next investment opportunity. Throughout the process videos are sent to me for updates which is great being an out of state investor. All in all, I would recommend using their services whether it is for small maintenance jobs or more complicated renovations.

I had the pleasure of staying in one of Mr Copeland’s building for four months recently while have my home restored after the hurricane.
I had a great deal of trouble getting the contractor I found to follow the proper steps in permitting and scheduling.
I have been in construction for fifty six years in NYC building everything from town houses to high rises and three towers at the World Trade Center.
I reached out to Jeff Copeland because I respected the way he took care of his property and how he was hands on in doing his work.
The next time I do anything in St Petersburg I will only call him. Absolutely stellar in every manner , an A-1 company.

I rarely leave reviews, but these guys truly deserve one. My home was rocked in Hurricane Helene, and the power outage from Hurricane Milton created a nasty mold issue. I called everywhere and finally found CDT. I was happy I did. I was devastated by the damage to my home, but Matthew patiently explained every step of the stabilization process and the preparations for the build-out, even though they knew they weren't the contractors I was using for that part of the process.

They use exactimate and follow FEMA guidelines for the drying out process. When new issues arose, they handled them with ease and professionalism, but more importantly, compassion. They were incredibly supportive throughout the entire process. I will definietly reach out to them for any future mitigation needs and wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone in need.

Owner is very responsive and up front about cost in his estimates. Pleasure to work with.

Simon and team delivered A+ quality work in a short time frame fitting in my fast moving rehab into their schedule. New drywall addition/replavement + hardy board installation. Finished as promised and the work looks great! They allowed me to make up some time on my project. I will use St Pete Construction Group again as needed!

St Pete Construction group - working with Simon and his team was a great experience. Friendly and very professional. Came in to do soundproofing job and made sure everything matches my needs, cleaned everything after themselves really thoroughly. Was also very quick.

St Pete Construction Group is the best in the biz! I hired them to renovate my new condo and could not have gotten a better result. They installed wood floors, crown molding, base boards and painted the entire place. They also removed a wall of mirrors effortlessly, which I thought at first would be a nightmare to get rid of. The team was quick and efficient. The price was fair and they really went above and beyond with some of the small, final details! I love my new home and am very pleased with the work done!
