Installation of wiring for a garbage disposal......I gotta say, I do not think I have ever met a better group of people. All were professional, friendly, polite & respectful !! To top it off, a fantastic job with reasonable prices !! I will use them in the future for all my electrical needs ! Special shout out to the owner Bill May, Lisa in the office and electricians Jorge & Matt !!

Waited a month longer for a permit on electrical that i was told by suncoast electric owner the the permit dept is postponing. When called the permit department they didnt even have a permit on file . The suncoast electric office is a complete mixup. Also, when they send you a technician and u pay them by hour, expect them to do 3 hour job in 9 hours. Owners start to be unresposive. They schedule a job andthen noone shows up or answers calls or texts. This company is a no go for me from this point.

I’ve used Suncoast electric multiple times and they’re always the best! Any time I call they send someone straight out and are easy to deal with. I’ve used them on multiple projects, including my home rewire, and each time they go above and beyond.

We used this company after Hurricane Ian due to some electrical issues caused by the storm. We were charged $450.00 (4 hour min) for a 20 min job that did not fix our issue. Duke energy came out to repair the issue further and commented the job completed by Suncoast Electric was unprofessional and should be re-done. We were disappointed with the electrician unwillingness to solve the problem and complete the job.

Agree with others that Will, the operations manager, and Mike, the main technician, are great to work with, very professional, answer phones and respond quickly to questions, and get the job done without any drama. I hired suncoat because my normal electrician did not show up and suncoast was closest to my home. I fired my other electrician and plan to use Suncoast for all future jobs.

Josh was a pleasant and professional technician. His knowledge of locating the issue was spot on. Will be calling again to have additional work done. Wishing Josh and Suncoast Electric a Merry Christmas and a happy new year!

They installed undercabinet lighting for us in a kitchen remodel in 2021. it failed immediately and it took about 8 months to get them to come out and address it and we had to pay for the material then. It failed again within 2 months and now they want to charge us 750 to come out and try and fix it. I guess they do not warrantee their workmanship.

We've used them twice to fix the messed up wiring in the home we recently purchased. Both times they arrived early the next day - first Steve then Jimmy. Both were very efficient. Especially Jimmy - he crawled through our attic and gave us some excellent advise - very cordial.

Set an appt for 12pm - 2pm time window. Called the day before and day of to confirm their service rep was on track. Service rep called me at 2pm to say he was running behind and would update me within the hour. Hour later service rep calls and says he should be there by 3pm. 3:30pm rolls around and he calls me to say that anything past 4pm is overtime and the company, Suncoast, refused to pay his overtime rate, so we would have to pay the overtime rate if we still wanted him to get the job done. Jerked me around all day only to leave us high and dry on some very urgent work because Suncoast wouldn't pay his overtime. From a service perspective, this is as bad as it gets.

Jorge was wonderful! He showed up upbeat and ready to tackle a problem that another electrical company walked away from unable to fix and still billed me! Jorge was unfazed and quickly figured out the problem. He ended up having to drill out concrete to repair wiring. He was always pleasant, organized and very professional. The kind of guy you enjoy having around. Thanks Jorge!

Work completed but we were charged for 3 1/2 hours labor plus the trip charge. I pointed this out to the supervisor, and mentioned that it was ridiculous to charge full hourly rate for their failure to have the proper parts. So we got charged for a phantom extra hour. Basically a 20% overcharge. Our complaint fell on deaf ears. Based on my vast knowledge of Horology, 10am to 12:30pm is 2.5 hours. This is stupid, sorry I called these guys.

We just bought a home and it required some electrical repairs in attic due to a potential fire hazard. Sun last came right out the next business day, on time and ready to work. And because there are boxes in the garage, Jorge had the extra work of shifting those around. He was extremely gracious about doing so. He did an awesome job and explained everything he was doing every step of the way. I will definitely use them again for any future needs!

Both Will (operation's mgr.) and Mike (technician) were excellent to work with. They were very quick to give me a proposal and started the job almost immediately. I had two other companies give me proposals each wanted to replace my entire electrical panel. Suncoast said it was not necessary and may the repair honestly, effectively and very professionally. I strongly recommend using Suncoast for a fair and honest electrical company!

I cold called this company based on its reviews. As a disabled HVAC mechanic for sometime, wasn't sure who to call. Josh came out to replace my main panel and straighten out some miscellaneous items attached to main load center. Josh called just before coming out and arrived shortly after. He worked non-stop. Josh was professional, friendly, and kept me informed of his progress periodically, of which I appreciated. Awesome electrician / people skills. Josh had a lot of uncontrolled set backs and dealt with them professionally and efficiently within his ability. It is difficult to hire a contractor when you were once a contractor, Josh is welcome to my home anytime and so is Matt. Nice to see decent tradesmen that know how properly do their job well. Office answered immediately, was friendly and accommodating. I'll call again!

Josh came out to fix my light after almost a month of my leasing office neglecting to reply to his inquiries about the repair. He was very helpful and professional, and even remembered what my kitchen decor was like when he chose the replacement light fixture. Despite the issues I have with my landlord I'm thoroughly impressed by his attention to detail and efficiency in getting the work done.

havent had the work done yet, but the customer service and politeness on the phone in handling my questions and issues was 5 star. i will write a follow up after the work but it earned my business just off that efficiency and professionalism.

Matthew did an excellent job of finding source of our electrical issues. He kept us informed during the process so there were no surprises and was responsive to our needs as he had to follow up with additional work. We thought the rates were reasonable.

Josh from Suncoast came out for a repair— we thought the meter can needed to be replaced after speaking with Duke Energy which is a job that is expensive and takes all day. Thankfully Josh quickly figured out it was a quicker and less expensive job.

He drove to another city an hour away to get the required parts today so we wouldn’t have to wait several days for a part to show up (without electricity!)

He went above and beyond in making sure everything got back to normal as quickly and painlessly as possible. Great experience with this company!!!!

This company does good electrical work at reasonable prices. They have been out to my home twice now, and I am very pleased with the work they've done on both occasions. Today Jorge installed two ceiling fans and repaired several outlets that were not properly grounded. He did an excellent job, and was professional and very friendly as well. Jorge is an asset to your company.

UPDATE: Why wait until 3:30 pm when you sent me an email after our call that you cannot provide an estimate after reviewing my job? This is on Suncoast and they refuse to accept responsibility for their failure to deliver and instead put it on the consumer. No contact, no update, no indication that they were behind and would take a few weeks. You are just digging yourself a bigger hole. ORIGINAL POST: Want Suncoast Electric to help with electrical? Don’t waste your time because they will waste your time. They are unresponsive and do not deliver on their promises. When challenged to provide an estimate to me today or I would post this review, they emailed me: "after reviewing the details of your project we are unable to provide a bid". This is weeks after the estimate was supposed to be sent to me by Zane from Suncoast. Apparently no one at Suncoast (except Zane) can give me my estimate because he does not share them electronically with anyone else at Suncoast. If they are this incompetent and disorganized in providing an estimate, how the heck can you trust them to do complex electrical work on your home or business? Answer: You Don't. What a joke they are!
