As the owner of Courtesy Electric inc. I would like to add this review in response to a recent review left by Luciano Gonzalez. I have known Eric and Maynard Electric for over 30 years and as competitors i can say that they are a reputable and honest company. The negative review left by Mr. Gonzalez from LRG Contracting was un warranted and un called for. The project in question that Mr. Gonzalez requested Maynard to look at , I as well had looked at and provided a quote. Mr. Gonzalez has called a few other contractors as well. I have known Mr. Gonzalez for over 10 years and as he does exceptional work he can be difficult at times to work with. For the record i did get the job i am speaking of so this review is not in retaliation, I just dont think its fair that he left a negative review towards Maynard Electric .

Had a new electcal box installed by Maynard Electric and can say their service and work involved is the best of the best. Show up when they say, neat & clean up top notch service men & women that care about their work and the customer their doing it for. The price is right for the job. Everyone is friendly from office staff to installers and patient. Chateau Towers are extremely pleased. Thank you Maynard Electric and many more good years to come.

Maynard did an Alumiconn installation throughout my house to meet the needs of my insurance requirements. They were professional and extraordinarily helpful. On time, enough crew to get it done quickly and very very good follow up. Nothing bad to say, only good. Feel confident they can do your job.

Our electric panel burst into flame at about 7:30 p.m. Luckily we were home and were able to put out the fire with an extinguisher. Duke Energy was zero help. We called this incredible business and they got back to us quickly that night with advice about what to do until they could get there. They appeared the next morning at 7 a.m. and worked all day to replace our panel and get our power restored. We so appreciate the incredibly talented workers that helped us and this super responsive, great local business. Highly recommended.

I have had the most amazing experience with Maynard. I won't be using anyone else for my electrical needs in the future. They are honest, well priced, and have great customer service. After almost being scammed by another company I called Maynard for a second opinion. I found Maynard after 3 friends separately recommended them. I was amazed at the level of service and competitive pricing. I HIGHLY recommend using this company.

These guys are awesome! They were thousands less than other contractors, and they did an amazing job. Mike and Daniel were very professional. They showed up on time every day and completed the project on schedule. I was impressed by their attention to detail. They filled the holes in the walls and left my house neat and clean. I would definitely recommend Maynard Electric.

As usual, Maynard Electric went above and beyond to help us with a last minute issue at a rental property - saved us significant time, worry and expense, and put our tenants at ease with a quick response and explanation of the issue and repair. From front of house phone support to the service call to avert an emergency, they were outstanding. Only electricians our family will use.

Buddy needs to slow down doing 65 in a 35 blowing peoples doors off to get in front of others.

We used Maynard electric for a rewire and removal of knob and tube wiring. Excellent service and professionalism as this was not an easy job. Big Thanks to Steve and Angel for the excellent work. Highly recommend this company.

I had a problem with lights flashing in 2 rooms. The problems was assessed thoroughly and a bad breaker was replaced. My technicians were James and Cisco and they answered all questions too. Highly recommend!

These guys are impressive. They showed up on time, assessed my needs and went above and beyond. My wife had a lot of questions and they took the time to explain everything in detail. Would definitely hire again. Thanks Eric and Doug.

Hired them to install some canister lights into our ceiling and add some plugs. They were very professional and did good quality work! Will definitely hire them again!

Had A-1 and two other companies quote us to updrade our electrical service and and run power for a new pool heater. They were priced reasonably and even better service. It did take a few weeks to get on the schedule but in these times showing up, doing a great job at a reasonable price is more than I can ask for!

I recommend A1 electric contractors to anyone. They are honest, reliable and knowledgeable. They're very professional and provide great service. I'm a State certified Roofing and residential contractor and understand the construction industry, these people are very good at what they do.

Not a good idea better keep looking. These guys will do some backhanded things to their workers accusing them of ridiculous, accusations and stealing money from them just to save money, How do you think they’re going to treat a customer? Look at the picture that’s highlighted. Loose wires, crooked boxes, no connector no lock outs wow good job 🤣 There are plenty of way better companies than this one to have work done on your precious home. Take it from an actual electrician of over 27 years and counting. These guys are not the ones you’re looking for.

I have used A1 Electric before and I believe the owner lives in my building. I called to ask about having some work done. I tried to explain that I wanted to replace all 5 lights presently in my kitchen and mentioned that one of the existing lights wasn’t working. The woman I was speaking with said, “so you want the light fixed”. I explained several times that no I didn’t want it repaired, I wanted to replace all of the fixtures in the kitchen and replace two fixtures in the dining room with lights I had purchased. I asked for her email, took pictures and explained what I was hoping to get done in an email. The next day I called to confirm receipt of my email. She told me she received it and that Matt, the owner, would get in touch with me in the next day or two. Over a week later, I have heard nothing from anyone. If an HOA refers customers to a contractor because they live in the building and they are totally not responsive, it is a bad look for everyone. If they do not want the work, perhaps they should let the HOA know that they should no longer refer him.

Jeff and John did a FANTASTIC job repairing an electrical shut off box outside of my house. Courteous, Polite, and left no mess in the area. Highly recommend using these guys for your electrical needs!!!
