General Contractor reviews in St. Petersburg, Florida

Mr. Dagly was very responsive and honest contractor. He was helpful throughout the entire renovation and provided a fair price. All concerns were addressed. Would highly recommend the company if you are looking for a good contractor performing quality work and not trying to rip anyone off.

Alibek was able to come up with a creative solution to what we were trying to accomplish. He is very knowledgeable and followed through with every promise made. Responsive, professional and would definitely recommend his services for any project.

I had the pleasure of working with SSGC as a subcontractor for a painting project. Throughout the job, their communication was excellent, providing us with all the necessary information in a timely manner, which made our work run smoothly.

Their attention to detail and professionalism were evident in how they coordinated all aspects of the project, ensuring that any issues that arose were promptly addressed. It was a great experience working with a general contractor who values quality workmanship and effective communication.

Overall, I highly recommend this general contractor and would welcome the opportunity to work with them again in the future. Thank you to the team at SSGC for a job well done!

Alibek arrived promptly. He was very professional and polite, listening carefully to my desires regarding my home repair and was able to carry out needed repair in a timely manner and the price was just right. He also took the time to advise me regarding other problems I was having with my home. I will definitely call him again and recommend his company to others.

Al met me at a prospective home to review concerns I had. He was helpful, professional, courteous, and was very knowledgeable of the building code. I would highly recommend him to anyone and will use him in future repairs/renovations.

Excellent! Al has been a great contractor to work with and is very knowledgeable. We had a new two car detached garage built and I have to say the quality is top notch. If you're considering a remodel it construction project I would highly recommend Sustainable Solutions as your contractor .

Sustainable Solutions completed a master bedroom and bath remodel for me. I am extremely satisfied with the craftsmanship and professionalism I experienced. They were responsive to my concerns and very fair in their pricing. Very happy with how the project turned out and I really appreciate them going to extra steps to keep everything clean and tidy. I would highly recommend their services for your home as well. Great job guys!

We hired SSGC for an addition to our 100-year old home - master bed/bath and laundry. My husband and I had never gone through this process before, and Al was extremely responsive and patient with us. His team was always respectful; vendors were always courteous. My husband and I were very pleased with everything - Al really went above and beyond. We have been quick to recommend him to other people, and would definitely use him for future projects.

I called Al and explained that my roof truss was broken and I needed help. He called me and came the next day to not only look at it but fix it. He was very kind and knowledgeable. He reassured me that he took care of the problem. I felt confident that he had the skills to perform the job. I really appreciated that he returned my call and shows up early to help. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a contractor! Many thanks for your help!

I have had the best experience working with Alibek Dagly, the owner of the company, on my project, a covered concrete patio and a shed attached to my home. The work performed was thorough and exceeded standards. I chose Sustainable Solutions to support a veteran owned business and for the level of craftsmanship and professionalism. Alibek communicated well and always addressed my questions and concerns. I would definitely work with his company again in the future.

Sustainable solutions did a great job putting my home back together after having been flooded during hurricane Helene. They used materials that will be able to be reused in order to reduce waste as well as cost in the future. I highly recommend Alibek and his team.

AL installed windows and window frames in my 2 story house and was beyond awesome, He was polite clean, and great in communication. I have New Energy efficient impact rated windows and ready for Hurricane season!

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Al and his team, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. Al is incredibly professional, attentive, and always goes the extra mile to ensure everything runs smoothly. He’s not just a great professional but also someone who values relationships, making it easy and enjoyable to collaborate with him. I’m grateful for the opportunity to work together and highly recommend his services to anyone looking for excellence!

Al was personable, gave a fair quote and did outstanding work on remodeling the sink and vanity area of my bathroom. He has a designers eye and he chose the faucet styles and recommended the mirror and storage options. We are more than pleased with the items he installed. His craftsmanship is excellent. We feel we got two workers for the price of one since he basically designed our vanity area and then installed it all based on his vision for the bathroom. We highly recommend Sustainable Solutions. A trusted, veteran owned company! we will hire again if we need his skill set once more!

Al Dagly was very receptive, knowledgeable and professional on the work he completed at our home. We had a load bearing block wall taken out between our kitchen and living area. If you’re looking for someone to do the job right the first time; look no further.

Al is an honest, reliable contractor who works with integrity. He communicates clearly, follows through on his commitments, and delivers quality work. Highly recommended.

Alibek came out to my home after another contractor left me in really bad shape. I had been without a bathroom for my mom who was very sick for nearly 5 months. He was super kind, very professional and listened. When the job started, his team were all really excellent and skilled. My finished bathroom is absolutely gorgeous. I am very grateful for him taking on the job I was left with. I had called several companies and no one would come out and take on another contractors mess. Don’t hesitate to call him. You are in good hands and the quality is really excellent and he is very honest. There are many contractors out there who don’t have the professionalism or honesty like Alibek and in this day and age, guys like him are a rare commodity. I have zero bad to say, only Thank you Alibek and crew!

Here’s a polished review you can post for Sustainable Solutions or for Alaback Dagleeb personally:

Outstanding Craftsmanship and Professionalism

I recently worked with Sustainable Solutions, led by Alibek, on the construction of a new PVC fence for my commercial property. From start to finish, Alibek demonstrated exceptional professionalism, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to quality.

As a fellow veteran and long-time friend, I already knew Alibek brought discipline and integrity to everything he does — and this project was no exception. His communication was clear, the job site stayed organized, and the finished result exceeded expectations.

It’s refreshing to work with a contractor who takes pride in his work and truly cares about getting it right. I highly recommend Sustainable Solutions and Alibek Dagley to anyone looking for a reliable, skilled, and professional general contractor.

This is my second time using SSGC. All and Narius are both detail oriented and pay attention to the customers wishes and concerns. I highly recommend Al/SSGC for your next home project. Al truely desires to give the customer the best product and service possible. Thanks to Al and Narius for top quality work and service, I absolutely love my completed bath and kitchen projects.

We worked with Al for about a year on our 600 sq ft addition (new master with on suite, bonus room, laundry room, and extended living room) and it was a great experience. We choose to go with him because he was logical, level headed, and reliable. All that was true through the process.

He didn’t just build the addition for us, he started working with us in the planning & architect phase, helping us understand what’s possible and what’s not.

Our project wrapped up back in Dec 2025 and couldn’t be happier with the end result. Highly recommend!

Al and his team came to our rescue after Hurricane Helene flooded our home. Al provided quality work at a fair price. We picked him most specifically because we wanted to prevent wide scale damage if there was another flooding event. He provided the most "sustainable solution" available at less of a premium than I expected. The team was professional, courteous, and true craftsmen. Communication was good, budget & time estimates at project beginning were spot on! Thank you Al!
