I’ve used Deno for over twenty years to clean up my mangroves and seawall area. He did a fantastic job in the past.
After hiring him to remove 2 trees and maintain mangroves after recent hurricanes , I would say he did a very poor cleanup. He removed the two trees, broke three sprinklers, crushed my drywell, and broke my internet cable. left all the mangroves which were broken, intertwined and dead. He stated he would look at them and remove, after I paid him. He left them as is. I had to hire someone else to clean the seawall area.

This is my 2nd time using Dino and his crew. I’ve had 4 total trees removed, so far. Always a good, thorough job, and he cleans up well. The quotes are reasonable and he owns his equipment. Meaning no additional rental fees to consider, and quicker response time. Recommend Urgent Tree Services.

Deno and his crew did a great job trimming our big live oak tree and removing a very tall old palm tree that was growing into the live oak. His crew works very efficiently and they did a great job cleaning up the yard. They were respectful of the lawn and existing landscaping and the tree and yard looks great! Deno's pricing is fair also. Thanks Deno & crew! Hire them - you won't be sorry!

My neighbor's (who are blameless in this) hired Urgent Tree Service & Stump Grinding to trim and remove some of their trees. In the process, Urgent Tree Service & Stump Grinding's workers dropped a tree or part of a tree into my yard. The tree and debris landed on my fence, on the ~1 year old clusia hedge I'd been growing, and on my pine tree. The pine tree lost an approximately 15 foot long limb, several of my clusia were severely damaged, the fence has a kink in it, and there was debris that caused minor damage to the clusia throughout my hedge. I had company over from out of town and didn't want to make a scene, so after cleaning much debris out of my hedge, I spoke with one of the workers. He said they would come back and put in a new clusia or 2 for me (of similar size to my others), but that's the best they could do for me. I accepted, again not wanting to make a scene. They proceeded to tell me it would be several weeks before they could install the replacement clusia, as they or their boss were going out of town. I waited for around a month without hearing anything from them, so I reached out and was told they would be out the following Wednesday with the replacement plant(s). They did not show up, so I contacted them again. This time I was told they'd be out the following Tuesday and that I "need a drink" because of my text (screen shotted below). Needless to say, they once again did not show up. I reached out again to see if they were still planning on coming with the replacement plant(s). They responded "yes," but never showed up. I eventually came to the conclusion that they had no intention of every showing up, so I stopped reaching out to them. What little they were hypothetically going to do for me was not work my time to keep reaching out to them. Now, I am writing this review, as I've been considering posting this for several months. I decided it's time. I've attached a picture of my texts with them in place of my call history, and have also attached some pictures of them in my yard, while picking up some of the tree parts that were still there when I looked outside. I also have a video of the incident, caught by one of my security cameras, but I am not posting that. To any who bothered to read this long post, I recommend you stay away from Urgent Tree Service & Stump Grinding. If you notice them working at your neighbor's house, be wary.

This is one helluva excellent company. Very professional and efficient. Hired them to cut down large overgrown Ficus tree, prune queen palms, remove very large bamboo assemblage. Urgent had the lowest cost estimate of 4 different tree services. Hired them at 11:00 am this morning, by 5:00 pm work completed today and cleaned up. Best price, excellent results. Would highly recommend to anyone needing tree service.

We’ve used Deno for several properties. He was not the cheapest but some of our neighbors had used him so we went with him. His equipment damaged our pavers in the backyard and broke the concrete slab on another property. He did not complete a job that we unfortunately made the mistake of paying in full for. I’ve called him several times and so has my husband. I do not recommend him at all, he is not careful about damaging property and will NOT come back to finish the job if paid in full. Save yourself the aggravation and use someone else.

I reached out to Chris at St Pete Tree. I was expecting to have to make an appointment and then another one before I could have my trees trimmed. However, I really appreciate the prompt estimate and response time for the work to be started and completed. Chris listens to his clients, and is professional and gets the job done quickly. If you want quick and dependable, Chris is your guy. He responded to my text immediately, arrived when he said he would, and sent a reliable stump guy (Logan) exactly like he said. Price was more than fair and Logan went the extra mile to clean up beautifully when he was done. 10/10 experience from first text with Chris to finished product. Would recommend and use again. It's so nice to interact with people who take pride in their work and reputation.

So my neighbor has giant bamboo that smashes against my house. If you are thinking of planting bamboo - please don’t. With Helene coming i was freaking out - especially after what this neighbor's bamboo did after Debbie. I got multiple quotes - with a lot of no can dos and not nows from other tree services. St. Pete trees came over 20 minutes after my call - gave me a great price and just went to town. It was amazing. No bullshit - straight up work - hauled everything away - cleaned up beautifully- standing in the back right now as Helene is gusting - nothing is touching. Highly recommended- Amazing… im probably going to have to use the regularly- please please don’t plant bamboo

Chris is not only an amazing and interesting person, he's fast and gets the job done. In addition he gave me some great advice to help with my yard. His price was the same as another company that no showed. Luck for me Chris came that same day and the work as done when he said it would be. Highly recommend.
