Chris & his crew are amazing! Came back to out house after the hurricane & out in Big Maple Tree was uprooted in front yard. He was there in 10 minutes. Job was done immediately.

Chris and his team did a great job on short notice, in particular with a severely leaning tree that needed to come down, that was up against a fence and flowering bushes. All very polite, cleaned up completely and finished during a rain storm. Highly recommended!

I was really happy with St. Pete Tree Service. They came out to our place on the same day I called, did a thorough assessment of the property and the job I wanted done, and started on that job the same day. I think the work was maybe a little more than they expected but they were able to expand their crew and worked hard to get the job done. I wasn’t home for some of that time and they were kind enough to send me photos of the progress and ask questions along the way, which was really reassuring and appreciated. The final product looked really nice, and I will certainly use the St. Pete Tree Service again. Thanks guys!

I was very impressed with the efficiency which Chris and his crew trimmed my overhanging oak branches. The job was perfect, in addition they cleaned up any fallen debris, raked and used a blower to make sure everything was pristine. A pleasure to work with a company that takes pride in their work and total satisfaction of their customers. Reasonable prices. I will definitely use again and recommend to others.

Last hurricane season, in 2024, we had Helene and Milton. They caused so much destruction and flooding that many streets were closed due to storm debris and downed trees. One tree in particular was my 85+ year old oak tree, damaged with a cracked trunk, caused by heavy winds from Milton. The crack kept widening daily and it was plain to see that the tree was going to split and fall onto the house. The sheer weight of tree would have surely crushed it, reducing it to a worthless pile of cinder blocks. And I just had a new steel panel roof installed! So, I contacted Chris Hayes at St Pete Tree Service. I was impressed by the service (they had to use a large crane) to haul out the massive parts of the tree. Their professionalism was second to none and my beautiful home never suffered so much as a scratch! I would definitely recommend St Pete Tree Service and St Petersburg Arborist to anyone that needs reliable tree work done.

St. Pete Tree Service were a life saver today! I called Chris, the owner, and the stars must have aligned perfectly for me. He was available to come out, gave me a quick quote and his team was here a couple of hours later to trim up my palms and clear away a massive amount of accumulated brush. I thoroughly recommend Chris and his team for your tree and palm care needs. We have several live oaks on our property, which have survived the two recent hurricanes. However, one live oak was diseased and didn’t have long. As much as we- and Chris- didn’t want to take the tree down, we did. And his team lead by Javier, were amazing. Professional, quick and actually worked through a driving rainstorm. After they took the tree down, they removed all the limbs and cleaned the property. A couple of days later the stump was ground up and the mulch was removed. Amazing. In the interim, we asked his team to trim 26 palms in our backyard that were now 25’ and bushy. Another amazing job! Chris and the team were courteous and personable and well use St.Pete Tree Service again. Thank you!!!

About a week ago I needed a quote for tree removal. So I called another tree company (not saying any name)! They never called me back.
So when I saw Chris, from( St. Pete Trees)!!
and showed him a picture of the tree that I needed removed, from my backyard. He sent one of his workers out to my house, the guy said he could remove it . A Week later Chris called , and said that he would be able to remove the tree earlier than what we had scheduled. Chris and his team came removed the tree cleaned up and hauled the tree away. I was very pleased with the work they did also how fast they were , and very professional.
I have another project that I need done I talked with Chris to see if he does the type of work I need done, and he said yes. So that should tell you that I will be working with St. Pete Trees again.

I saw a feature story on Baynews 9 about preparing for the hurricane season and trees. On tv, Chris was very knowledgeable and so I went to their website and made contact via their app. Xavier came by a few hours later that SAME DAY and was also very knowledgeable and quoted us a reasonable price. The crew came by another day and did an excellent job. The kicker… they left my property cleaner than they found it! We are very happy and recommend this company to anyone who needs work done.

We have used this company three times. They are always responsive (once was an emergency with a huge cracked branch), knowledgeable, and well priced. Chris kept us informed on the progress of the work, and they did a thorough cleanup after. Their workers also respect your property while working. We'll be using them again.
