I come to this site 4 plus times a month and some times 2 and 3 times in a day. I own a handyman and landscape business.. They are always friendly, never any issues.. I live in the north Clearwater area and never use any other facility.. The others charge you a flat 36.00 minimum, or 20.00. I can fill my boxes in 5x8 trailer for a deposit ranging from 67.00 to 80.00 my dump fee is between 8.00 to 24.00. Just love this place and it hasn't changed in years.. Thank you Pinellas county solid waste staff..
I have been going to this dump since I was 7 years old. And since then back in the day you could pay with cash check debit card or credit card. Now since covid, you can only pay with cards. They will not take checks or cash and they have weird machines that you have to pull up and pay with. I even have one employee he lifted up the machine and threatened if I didn't do it right and I broke it I would have to pay $100 for machine that's their fault because it's broken. Since then in November, now you have to buy reflector base PPE approved glasses or they simply not that you don't turn you around a refuse. I feel let down and over each of regulations has a period my business with this company. There is another brush removal place
So glad we have this place. They do a great job. Staff is very helpful & nice, & the $10 fee is fair. Covered area where you go to unload is kept clean & safe for tires.
Such a cool place... the whole process is fascinating. We've been twice to dump yard waste and random boards/construction type things. Nice workers, organized, easy process...I think it was 11$. I honestly can't wait to go back 😆. Can't believe ppl take the time to leave a bad review on a dump. But then again, yes I can.
Household chemical collections is way more difficult than it needs to be... Daily limit on items such as paint is really frustrating. If I bring paint once a year, but have multiple gallons I can only leave so much of it... I'd have to make multiple trips. It would make much more sense to have an annual limit as opposed to a daily limit (They scan your ID anyway, so this would not be hard to track) Realize that the current setup encourages people to drop off half of their chemicals and throw the rest in the garbage rather than making an inconvenient trip back
Open on Saturday was a winner for me. The customer service was fine. Here is something everyone should know, BRING YOUR OWN HARDHAT OR YOU HAVE TO BUY THEIRS TO ENTER! NON-NEGOTIABLE. Other than that it was about as good as a trip to the landfill can be, right?
