I cannot say enough great things about Kenley Design and Construction. Anthony is wonderful to work with and made our dream house a reality-- on time and in budget. Lisa is a pleasure and very patiently helped us with all the details. I recommend them to anyone looking to do new construction in the Tallahassee area.

We just completed construction of our new house and moved in at the end of February. Working with Kenley (Anthony and Lisa) from design to completion with many steps in between was well worth the process. As an added bonus, Lisa was able to patiently help us with design and decorating ideas which provided unique touches we would have never considered. We love our house and would do it again in a heartbeat! When friends and family see the house for the first time.., their first reaction is “Wow”! Thanks Anthony and Lisa!!

We used Kenley Design In the fall of 2019 for an unplanned home renovation brought on by extensive water damage. We had been through the ringer with insurance companies and getting quotes from multiple other contractors. Anthony was referred by a friend and from the day we first called him to project completion he was very personable, responsive, professional, and provided high quality work. All lingering issues were resolved. He helped us out tremendously in a stressful and complicated insurance situation, beyond what would be expected, and was patient with matters out of our control. The house needed extensive drywall repair, painting, new trim work, floors, and an entirely new kitchen. He gave design input that we ended up using to change our kitchen layout which we are very happy with. He always communicated the timeline and let us know ahead of time when anything changed. He was flexible and worked with the changes we asked for. Couldn’t have asked for someone better to work with. Highly recommend.

Anthony Swinson of Kenley Design and Construction has completed three remodeling projects for us. Each of these projects was major and we stayed in our home throughout the process. Anthony was very conscientious about keeping the construction site clean, he listened to our thoughts and concerns and was courteous during each remodel. The last project, completed less than two years ago, was a redesign to create a professional kitchen. His expertise in coordinating subcontractors was excellent. He has maintained a very well qualified team of tradesmen over the last nine years that we have known him. We would recommend Anthony for any custom build or remodel. We continue to contact him for advice on home repair matters. He is always willing to assist.

Anthony with Kenley helped me out greatly with a deck rebuild. The project started just before hurricane Michael and Anthony himself made time to come over before the storm to ensure there was no small pieces of wood that could damage our home, which was great as we scrambled to get prepared for the storm. I then assumed it would be some time before the project was complete but that was not the case.
They were back at work much sooner than expected.
Kenley has also done many projects for my elderly mother including helping her older home become more user friendly for an older person, specially remodeling her bathrooms. He gave her the attention she needed to ensure she felt both safe and to ensure she was happy with the work. Anthony even personally retaking her to pick out tile and all the fixtures. My experience with Kenley is they always go above and beyond the normal. Five stars for sure

Kenley Design completed our construction in Fall of 2019. Anthony came highly recommended from a friend and he delivered. I am very particular because I usually do my own construction so I have a tendency to be very involved, aka asking million of questions. Anthony and his crew were very patient, knowledgeable, and detail oriented. The craftsmanship which is typically hard to find today was very evident. Everything is square, plumb, and precise because Steve and Steve are true craftsman. As is typical in construction things come up in the field that don’t present on the paper plans but Anthony and his guys always had an answer. From the stakeout through the final punch list my job was handled as though it was his own house he was building. It is not typical today for contractors to look at a job with “owner’s eyes”, but that is how our job was handled. I would hire him again to build for me and I highly recommend Kenley Design and Construction. He was very fair, honest, and dependable on our build. He delivered an incredible finished product on time and on budget.

Anthony built our house in Northshire and we couldn't have been happier. The process was very professional from start to finish. He was always available and responsive to all of our worries throughout this very entire process. I have recommended him to many people and we would have him build for us again. Anthony built our home in 2016 and the process was seamless. We had seen one of his builds at the Parade of Homes and found a house plan from his portfolio that fit our wants & needs. Lisa was wonderful to have along the way, assisting with exterior and interior selections and we always knew exactly where we stood financially. Our build took the exact amount of time that was predicted and we could not be happier with the outcome. We have had zero issues since moving in and you can tell this is a custom home. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future!

Anthony built our house in 2015. He and Lisa were very conscientious of our budget and helped us build a wonderful, functional house. We have been extremely happy with the quality of the work. Since then I have called Anthony several times with questions and for advice whenever we've wanted to make small changes around the house. He is always quick to respond and help. I work in the real estate industry and have met several of Anthony's other customers as well. Virtually all feel the same way - Anthony takes pride in building quality custom homes and in making his customers happy.

We hired Brianna to create a design and to help us select finishes for a full renovation of our home. We threw in an extra challenge for Brianna: we were would be in Taiwan during the renovation (12 hours ahead) and asked her to manage the renovation for us.

Brianna's results exceeded our every expectation. From the first consultation, Brianna listened carefully to our goals, translated our vague ideas into a cohesive design, and proposed thoughtful solutions that honored both the home's architecture and our family’s lifestyle.

Communication was outstanding — timelines and and pros/cons of options were clear, progress updates were regular (with pictures), and any challenges were handled swiftly and transparently. Her attention to detail was impressive: finishes, lighting, and storage solutions were selected with both beauty and practicality in mind. The design feels timeless yet perfectly tailored to us.

Throughout construction, Brianna coordinated the renovation professionally and ensured the contractors followed our design. Brianna's creativity turned our awkward spaces and vague ideas into functional highlights, and she found smart ways to maximize natural light and flow. Our final spaces are warm, inviting, and highly functional — we genuinely love our new home!

If you want a designer who is creative, organized, and truly client-centered, we highly recommend Brianna. She brought our vision to life and made the renovation process far less stressful than we anticipated.

I wanted a kitchen reno but didn't have the confidence to project manage all of the subs and pick out the materials I wanted. I decided a professional designer was the ticket and boy am I happy I chose Brianna. She helped me with design ideas and was fantastic and scheduling and managing the various subs -- plumber, countertops, tile, electrical. I was only without a working kitchen for less than 24 hours! I am super pleased with the final result. She showed up (on time!) for every sub appointment and made sure they were following her instructions. And the subs she chose were great. Highly recommend!

Brianna’s work is exceptional! She designed my kitchen, master bath, downstairs half bath, laundry room and mud room. Her work included detailed sketches of each room with choices for tile, wallpaper, lighting, cabinet type/placement, and fixtures for each space. Everything flows and looks coordinated. I get compliments from everyone who visits. Brianna works tirelessly to get it right. She is incredibly professional and easy to work with at all times. I can’t say enough good things about her and her work. I am so glad a friend recommended her to me. You should definitely hire Brianna!

NRG is a company you can trust for any size project. We felt ours was somewhat complex and NRG was there through the entire process. Any issues or concerns we had got resolved and we leaned on their expertise to help us with our design. The results were fabulous! I would like to give a big shout out to Steve who brings a wealth of knowledge and professionalism and is a joy to work with. He did not leave until we were completely satisfied.

NRG did a fantastic job on our carport. 24 x16 in two days. Every phase of the project was flawless. From the bid until the end of the build.we were informed on the progress of the permitting to the arrival of the construction team. The end result is great. Wonderful company to work with. NRG replaced the windows in my home. From the initial visit for the quote through the installation they were helpful and professional. The office staff were accommodating with my schedule and acted quickly to get the process going in a very short timeframe. The installers were efficient and installed all 10 windows in one day and left the rooms clean. They responded quickly to an issue I had with some of the caulking and fixed it the very next day. I highly recommend NRG if you need your windows replaced.

James and Matt did a fantastic job installing the windows to transform my porch to a sunroom. It looks great! They were very efficient, thorough, and courteous. I highly recommend NRG to do any window installation one wishes to have done.
