Because of the beautiful job that Craig Ross did on our bathrooms (see review below), we contracted for him to redo our staircase, put in new flooring, update the tile in the kitchen and paint the entire interior while we were on a cruise for eight days. We came back to an absolutely gorgeous home! The stairs are beautiful and the paint job is superb. Everything looks so crisp and clean.
One of the best things about working with Craig is that he came up with ideas that we wouldn't have, and they turned out great. He chose a couple of light fixtures for us, suggested a backsplash in the kitchen and had some paint ideas like the black trim to contrast with the white walls to lead the eye to the kitchen. We went with his suggestions and are extremely pleased.

QUALITY!! We contracted with Ross Constuction to remodel the three bathrooms in our townhome. The master bath is finished and the other to are almost complete.
Craig Ross met with us during the intial consultation to get an understanding of what we wanted. We had a large old Jacuzzi tub that didn't work and a tiny shower. The tub became a beautiful large shower with a rainhead, hand-held and wonderful nooks for storage, plus a night light in one of them. The vanity was redone nicely, with a place for a vanity stool where I can sit and do my makeup. The wall where the tiny shower was has been converted to a lovely storage area.
Craig kept in touch through the entire process, making changes as needed. He put us in touch with various outlets where we could pick out the needed hardware and accessories. His painter brought by a large book of paint samples so we could choose the colors at home.
Craig and his team were delightful to do business with and we have now contracted for redoing the stairway, replacing carpet with flooring, and painting the interior of the house.
I highly recommend giving Ross Contruction a call if you are planning to remodel.

Ross Construction and Design did such a fantastic job with our major home repair (replacing subfloor, floor joists, and piers, leveling our home, and insulating the floors), we hired them to perform additional upgrades.

They installed a granite countertop, replaced windows and a sliding glass door, French door and front door, as well as rebuilt our back deck, staircases, and balconies to the outside of our home. Everything is absolutely beautiful and built to last.

Craig Ross is a hoot and a pleasure to work with. He answered all our questions (and I had many!), and kept us informed throughout the process. His crew did top-notch work, really paying attention to quality. We can’t thank Craig, his crew, and his office manager, Jillian, enough. Ross Construction completely rebuilt my back deck and added extra frame work. It is solid! Craig was great to work with. His crew and lead man Daniel were very accommodating and very respectful. Daniel is a craftsman! Craig always kept me posted as to when the crews would arrive. They completed the work in a timely basis.

I challenged Ross Construction to build a large project for me, adding three 10' x 30' additions to my home. The challenge: (1) construct an addition to include a new en suite master bath and closet, (2) add a 10' extension to existing garage and (3). Construct a large patio, half covered and half open air with a see through stone fireplace between the two. Craig and his team set out to "make the customer happy" , working tirelessly to execute my vision. Despite the lengthy timeline, I saw workers here almost every day. Ross Construction superintendent (or Craig himself) were on site each day to QC each day's work. Where they found mistakes, the subcontractors were instructed to rip it out and do it again (properly!). I highly recommend Ross Construction and Design for your next project, large or small. You won't regret it. I will hire them back for my next project!!

Craig has worked with us on two separate projects, a complete remodel of our kitchen and placing a walk- in shower in our master. Craig is very dedicated in his work and he wants to make sure the customer is happy when the job is completed. The sub-contractors he uses are very professional, communicative, and does great work. Craig listened to our ideas of what we wanted but also gave ideas that were trending currently but kept in mind with what our budget allowed. Craig also kept us informed throughout each of the projects, but would also be up front when issues arose. Jillian and her staff at the office were very informative and very polite. I will definitely work with him again on another project. I recommend him highly!!

Craig moved heaven and earth to rebuild our home after Hurricane Michael, and it turned out absolutely beautiful. One thing I loved about working with Craig is his eye for functional layout and design - he made several recommendations based on our initial plans that improved the space immensely. He’s also professional and great fun to work with, and has become our go-to contractor for any work that pops up. I wouldn’t hesitate giving Craig a call!

Ross Construction is the best! They COMPLETELY fixed up our office and did an amazing job! The attention to detail was amazing, I wish I had before pictures so you could see the changes he made. I give them a 10/10, highly recommend!

Craig and his team did an unbelievable job for us with our covered patio. The pictures speak for themselves as to the quality and beauty of his work. Beyond that, it was the efficiency, communication, and drive to make us happy that really stood out about Craig. We are already planning our next project with him and I can't imagine using anyone else but Ross in the future.

Craig Ross and his team of professionals did an AMAZING remodel of my master bathroom. They turned my fiberglass shower/tub insert into a massive walk-in shower with glass doors. They re-tiled the entire bathroom and installed a double vanity with mirrors and a tower cabinet. I now have the luxury spa bathroom I’ve always wanted. Thanks Craig & Team for a top notch job!!!

We cannot recommend Chris and his crew enough! We hired them for a difficult job repairing some water damage in our home but they really rose to the occasion and did an amazing job! The work was done timely, professionally, and with a really wonderful crew. The owner personally handled any and all concerns (and I admit I am not an easy client) and was beyond professional, kind, and accommodating. If you have any project - big or small - call these guys, they will not disappoint!

Chris and CS Lewis were fabulous to work with and provided quality and affordable construction services on our dream home remodel and new addition project. Review of CS Lewis Construction
Our house in Indian Head was severely damaged by tree-fall in the May 10, 2024 tornado. We had a lot of structural damage, broken beams and headers. We had to have a lot of the structure replaced. Chris Lewis was an excellent person to work with. With his engineering degree and background, he knew just how to support the structure while replacing the stuff that was holding it up. He and his crew were always communicative and punctual. We always knew what they were doing and when. We had a great experience with this group. Chris's project manager Jon is great to work with and his lead carpenter, Jose is an artist. We really appreciated these folks fixing our house. They did a great job. We would definitely use them again for future projects. We rate them with FIVE golden stars out of five. Jeff Chanton and Susan Cerulean. Indian Head.

We contracted with Chris Lewis of C.S. Lewis Construction to build an outdoor porch pavilion
over an existing tile patio on the back of our house and we are extremely pleased with the
result. Chris and his team were very professional and so easy to work with, and everything
turned out even better than we had hoped for. One of the things that we liked most about Chris
and his team was that whenever we had questions or thought about changing this or that design
aspect on the fly, they were extremely helpful and accommodative in providing thoughtful
comments and / or suggestions for us to consider. And, in fact, a couple of these design
changes were incorporated into the final result. One of our primary goals was to have a
structure built which looked like it had always been part of the original house. Chris and
company hit it out of the park on this matter, as everything about the porch pavilion - right down
to the matching roof shingles and profile of the fascia and soffits - exactly matches the look and
design of the main house. Several of our friends have commented that it looks like the porch
pavilion has always been part of the original house. In short, we can’t say enough good things
about our experience with C.S. Lewis Construction and would absolutely use them again for our next project.
