Nice place. People are friendly and helpful. It is well laid out and easy to find what you are looking for. Very relaxing. Sometimes, I like to go there to just stroll through the gardens and get ideas.

I have been shopping Tallahasse Nurseries for decades. The plants and trees that I have purchased thrive. I love their potting soil too. The staff is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful to match the planting conditions to the perfect plant. I purchased a few pots several years ago and they still look great. I plan to continue to purchase the plants I need every season.

My man and I go nearly every weekend and not just to purchase anything...we love to sip and stroll! We ADORE the ladies in serving up the bevies especially Diane! Then we tour the grounds and always end up buying something :) It's an enchanting Nursery!

A wonderfull placae to shop the plants are well marked and the staff is knowlegable and helpfull.

It's our "Happy Place!" My wife and I always stop on our way home from a Tallahassee visit with family. (Even the dogs are welcomed). we find unique varieties to add to our gardens that no one else seems to have. Our plants from here thrive unlike the ones we have mail-ordered from reputable companies. The staff is so helpful and truly know their plants! We buy seeds, flower and onion bulbs, gardening tools, herbs, flowers, and trees just to name a few, but they have an extensive pottery, birdbath, houseplant, and landscaping area. Don't miss their potting soil! My wife has been buying it since she was at FSU in the 70's. You probably don't have to be a gardener to appreciate the beauty of this place. It is magical! There are not enough words to describe the beauty and atmosphere of Tallahassee Nursery! I probably made more than a few people laugh at my expressions as I walked through what is truly a Garden of Eden. The staff were so helpful and patient. They knew all about the plants I was interested in and what I would need to do once I got them home to get them in the ground safely. I was just visiting the area (I live about two hours away) but I will be going back and I'll be bringing friends and my truck next time!

Amazingly beautiful and an awesome selection of plants, shrubs, and trees. Prices are decent too.

I’ve never experienced customer service this bad anywhere. Michelle was openly rude and completely unprofessional, along with another staff member who didn’t give their name. It’s honestly unbelievable.

You are claiming this review was made because someone I know wasn’t accepted into your art festival, which is false. This issue is and always has been the way your customer service representative raised her voice, lied, and hung up on me. What’s even more troubling is that you continue to make excuses that aren’t accurate instead of addressing the issue. Terrible communication skills all around.

Word of mouth goes a long way, and I’ll make sure people know how this place really treats its customers.

A lovely place to spend a few hours (or more) looking at and for plants of all kinds. Well cared for plants, with a guarantee. Beautiful fountains, pots, and fun garden decor, enough to please almost anyone! Everything from trees to vegies while you fill your wagon with goodies!

I have no idea how plants work but the staff at TN were so helpful! They told me how to keep my new little plants happy, and just exactly what to expect in terms of growth and how long that would take.. etc. I cannot be more happy with my experience. Also, it is just such a peaceful walk around the nursery.

Roger and I believe Justin were so helpful. I received my grandmas jade, aloe and kalenchoe plants and they went above and beyond to let me know how to care for them, repot them, trim them, and stake them to grow up right!

I wish I could give this nursery a higher rating because the place itself is absolutely beautiful — they have a great selection of plants. Unfortunately, the customer service completely ruined me ever shopping there again. Michele was extremely rude and even yelled at my daughter and made a false allegation about a family member to try and cover up her own incompetence, which was shocking and completely uncalled for. It’s a shame, because the nursery itself has so much potential, but we won’t be returning after how she was treated. A training in customer service is much needed! RESPONSE: this complaint has nothing to do on whether someone got into the event or not. It has everything to do with the horrible customer service that was received! Good customer service is not talking over someone and then hanging up on them. Big difference!

A huge variety of plants and yard ornaments etc here. A string ensemble was playing music as we scoured the area getting some plants for the house.

Tallahassee Nurseries designed our landscape plan back in 2000, and we’ve been loyal customers ever since. Over the years, we’ve watched our yard mature into a truly beautiful space. We've even added landscape lighting to enhance the design, and it all flows together seamlessly thanks to their expert guidance from the very beginning.

Beyond landscaping, Tallahassee Nurseries is simply a joy to visit. The greenhouse always has a stunning selection of indoor plants, and the container design team creates beautiful arrangements that elevate any space. The cottage and gift shops are full of unique, high-quality items that never disappoint—there’s always something new to discover.

It’s an all-around great place to visit, work with, and grow with throughout all of the seasons. We’re so grateful for the beauty they’ve helped us create and maintain, both inside and out. Highly recommend!

Tallahassee Nurseries is incredible! I'm blown away by all they have to offer every time I'm there. We started going more because of their hilarious amazing social media posts, but stayed for the vibes and all they have to offer- not only can you shop but it's actually great to just grab a bev from a vendor or the cottage and walk around. Their community events are also always sooo much fun we try to go to as many as we can as they always get better and better when we go. It's like a nursery and park all rolled in to one!

One of my favorite things about living in Tallahassee continues to be Tallahassee Nurseries. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. A visit includes the beautiful grounds, a wine slushie and browsing in the cottage, saying hello to the koi and giant ponytail palm in the greenhouse, and always finding new, rare, and unusual plants. Today, we brought home an ice cream banana tree and apple mint...along with some veggie garden staples and two citronella plants. We are ready for the season. 🌻🍅🥒🫑🍆🪴

I came here on literally the coldest day possible- there were snow flurries when we pulled in! All the outdoor plants were covered up in protective tarps, staff was layered in heavy jackets. The wind gusts were gusting.

I stopped to get some memorial flowers for my kitty who had just passed a few days prior. It felt silly and selfish to go when it was this cold but I've been struggling terribly with my grief this week so me and my sister took the trip.

Despite the frigid temperatures and snow flurries, the entire team of people who helped me today were so beautifully kind, helpful and heartwarming. I wish I had caught their names. They helped me find specifically some orange flowers, getting down and pulling up tarps up and down the rows of colored flowers. They never once seemed annoyed or even tried to rush the process with me. I know you all had to be cold and uncomfortable and I just kept apologizing but you all never once made it seem like it was an issue.

Once flowers were in hand they kindly answered all the questions I had about them and walked me through my new plants a little bit. The entire team working today had good knowledge on the plants on-site.

I can't thank the entire team of people who were working today enough. From the moment we stepped in to the checkout process at the end. You all have no idea how much your kindness positively impacted me today in a time I needed it most.

I purchased the most beautiful yellow/red blanket flowers and orange violas here to memorialize my late kitty of 13 years. My sister bought some delicious pastries from a food truck that was posted up by the front.

I've been here before and was met with the same vibe, except it was in much more favorable conditions, lol. This is definitely my go-to spot for anything plant-related.

I freaking LOVE it here. An expansive selection of plants that are updated so often I can't decide what to get every time I go by here - I want them all!! Employees are so kind, welcoming and positive - whether you ask them a question about a specific plant group, or for insight during planting and care, or for simply caring for the plants in their sections of the lot - the vibe is always cheerful and helpful.
Earning points on every purchase after signing up for VIP is definitely a bonus - applying those points/dollars earned to future purchases has definitely been a boon.
And the Wine slushies?! Amazing.
The best plants I've ever purchased in terms of quality, longevity, assurance of the plants being more native than unknown/harmful exotics and the knowledge base I've gained from it all has been a spectacular investment for my time, energy and my wallet.
