So professional and on task. Would recommend Cricket’s to everyone needing great tree work done. This job was in the middle of a row of homes , only sidewalk access, with a dangerously dying 250 year old live oak. They were careful, precise and polite, just did their jobs with total professionalism. Crickets gets my vote!

They are fast, reliable, and super professional! You won’t find a tree company in Tallahassee that has better customer service!

We have used Cricket's in Leon County multiple times and at multiple homes as well as our home on the Coast in Franklin County. They are honest and dependable and their work is outstanding. They are very cautious around septic fields and have always left our yard free of debris and in excellent condition. Highly recommend.

I contacted Cricket’s Tree Service — under new ownership with Jack and Kerry Mabbett — to trim an Oak Tree in our backyard. They were friendly when I called, on site the next day, and completed the job efficiently, responsibly, and at a great price point. We recommend this family owned company to our neighbors, Tallahassee, and the surrounding area!

Cricket's did such a fantastic job! Their entire staff was a pleasure to work with. The job site crew was prompt and professional, and they really cleaned up all the debris. Truly masters of their craft. They have a customer for life and I can't recommend them enough.

We needed a crepe myrtle removed from the front of our house after a root had damaged an underground water line. Crickets was quick with a great quote and got us penciled in. The guys did an awesome job removing it and paid close attention when grinding down the stump to not damage the plumbing any further. From start to finish I felt in good hands.

The owners are kind, professional, and take pride in what they do. They are quick and respectful of your property, and will do an excellent job from start to finish. Highly recommend them to anyone needing tree work!

Crickets is the only tree company I will use. They left the yard clean and neat you could not tell they had been there! It has been consistently like that every time, about 4 jobs!

I previously worked for Crickets Tree Service and wanted to share my experience.

During my employment, I encountered several issues related to pay and workplace safety. Initially, I was asked not to be placed on payroll due to a lawsuit the company was involved in. Even after being added to payroll, I was not compensated for all hours worked, including approved overtime. I was not the only employee who experienced pay discrepancies—many left the company, which went from operating three crews down to one.

In addition, I observed the company cutting costs in ways that impacted safety procedures that are required by OSHA standards. These changes made working conditions increasingly unsafe.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend working for or hiring Crickets Tree Service until these issues are addressed.

I couldn’t be happier with Cricket’s Tree Service! The team was incredibly professional, efficient, and left my yard looking better than ever. It’s rare to find a company that cares so much about both the quality of their work and their customers, I’d recommend them to anyone in Tallahassee without hesitation.

They did a fantastic job!! Everyone worked very hard, mainly all the tree work was performed at my neighbor's but I had a few trees removed & they were compassionate about the flying squirrel that tried to jump in on the crane. If anyone is needing tree work I would totally recommend them.

Crickets is the absolute BEST tree service in Tallahassee. Straight shooters with honest and fair pricing. Super people. I have used them 2 times. Both times they did exactly what they said they would do and did it on time. From Dale to Erin and everyone in between, wonderful folks.

My neighbor across the street had a bunch of pine trees taken out today and I was very impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail. They took extra precautions to give the driveway a fighting chance and it seems to have worked. They also were very impressive with the skills each one showed in their own area(everyone has a job). If you have never seen these guys at work it’s a real treat to watch. Tree climbing is crazy to watch. Most importantly the trees were picked up promptly and the area cleaned . Great work, the next time I need tree work I’ll be calling!

Today cricket Tree Service had five people clearing out my whole yard, I’ve flipped hundreds of homes and I’ve had many tree services, but this company was number one by far!! I dealt with one of the owners, Franklin and he made sure everything was done professionally and I was happy with the outcome. Pricing was super good, could not be any happier. They had top of the line equipment and all their workers were super friendly, they all worked diligent through the entire day without even taking a break. You will not be disappointed with their service!!!
I’ve probably only left two reviews my whole life for a company, but I felt like their service was so outstanding. I had to take the time to leave this review.

After hurricane Helene felled a huge tree on my house, I'm not taking any more chances. Crickets Tree Service to the rescue. Crickets expertly appraised my trees for risk during a future storm, and then gave me a firm quote to cut, remove, and stump grind several large oaks, and pines.

Crickets showed up on time, and with all the equipment and personnel needed to get the job done. It was all quite impressive to watch.

The first thing that happened was placement of protective wood sheeting on my driveway and my yard before any equipment rolled in. Then the tractors and the cranes got right to work.

Down came the big limbs first, then the tree trunks in large pieces. Placed neatly in a pile, where they were then loaded into a truck and hauled away.

Afterwards the cleanup was incredible. Crickets left my yard clean as a golf course, hardly a golf divot or two left behind.

In summary, Crickets did what it said it was going to do, and they did it expertly, on time and on budget. Yeah, Crickets Tree Service is the real deal. I don't hesitate to recommend.

Cricket's Tree Service was excellent from start to finish! From the first visit from the estimator to the finished work, their communication was great. We had 10 very tall pine trees removed and their price was competitive. Also, our job required required them to be creative with their equipment and approach to removal - they exceeded expectations.
