We’ve been using Apple Pie Maids for nearly 2 years and love them. They’re always on time, do great work, and are quick to respond to any questions or concerns.

I wish I'd had a good experience with these guys when we hired them in March of 2022. Some of the reasons I consider Apple Pie Maids terrible include:

- The only form of payment they told me they'd accept is bank transfer. Not check, not cash. I had to give them my bank account information (account and routing number). I offered to pay up-front monthly, and that was also not accepted.

- Their pricing was much higher than I had experienced with previous cleaning services, but I decided to give them a chance to impress me. However, I had to commit to minimum number of cleanings without knowing if I'd be happy with them.

- They refused to do an initial deep-clean session, instead insisting that they would get our house to a baseline state over the first 4 cleanings. Their workers' unwillingness to move items for dusting, clean baseboards, clean behind furniture, etc, led me to complain and ask if they would do three-quarters of the work to get the house to baseline on the fourth visit. While a manager did make sure most of the work was done on the fourth visit, it still did not meet the standards of a normal deep clean based on other services I have used (both before and since).

- When I decided not to move forward with the company after the first four cleanings, I notified them in writing and in no uncertain terms about the termination of services. 7 days later, on April 1, I received an e-mail invoice for the next month's service. When I reached out to demand why I was receiving a bill when I had terminated the working relationship, I was informed that they just had not removed me from their email list yet and they were not charging me. THIS WAS AN INVOICE FOR SERVICES I WOULD NOT RECEIVE and apparently they needed more than a week to remove my email from that list. (I notified my bank to refuse any transactions from them, so I do not know if they attempted to do an unauthorized debit of my account.)

- Several months later, I received a text message from them asking if I was happy with my cleaning service. When I informed them that I had terminated our relationship, they said they just wanted to make sure I was happy with whatever cleaning service I currently had. Guys, I fired you. I'm not coming back.

- Over a year after I quit using their services, I received an email about the fact that they were planning to start ENFORCING their late cancellation fee policy. What? AT THIS TIME I DID THEIR "UNSUBSCRIBE" REQUEST.

- Today, over 2 years since I fired them and about a year after I requested to be unsubscribed from their emails, I received an email from them with the subject line, "We miss you, Rebecca --- let's reconnect!"

So to recap: Their service was terrible and extremely overpriced. They insisted on acquiring my bank account information instead of accepting a check or lump pre-payment for services. They have repeatedly ignored my requests not to be contacted.

I tried to take the high road and let it be without a negative online review, but at this point I feel like potential customers NEED to know that this company is scammy.

Just had my house cleaned by Libby, Jiana, and Carley with ApplePieMaids. It's so nice to have my house completely cleaned before the Holidays. They did a wonderful job and work so well together. Thankyou!

We have been using Apple Pie Maids since moving to the area and we are so pleased with and grateful for the work they do. They are always flexible with us about scheduling and truly go above and beyond when they are In my home. My husband and I are both nurses and extremely busy and Apple Pie Maids really takes a huge weight off our shoulders. Thank you guys for doing such a great job!

Apple Pie Maids has been a great company to work with. Katie is very organized and detail-oriented, and runs a super professional business. All of the young ladies have been excellent - they have positive attitudes, nothing is too much for them, and they each dive into the work enthusiastically with an outstanding work ethic. This is the first time I've ever had a maid service, so I was a bit reluctant, but everyone has been professional and trustworthy. I have no idea how they are able to get ceramic so clean, but it's great! Adreanna, Kasia, Damisha, and Faith have done such thorough work for us - we really appreciate them!!

I was having company and hurt my ankle last minute so I couldn’t clean my house, Katie got back to me very quickly and was able to get me booked for a cleaning before my guests arrived. The women who came to do the cleaning were very timely, thorough and professional! 10/10 recommend

My life is so much easier with apple pie maids!! I’ve had several cleans and the staff is always professional and do a great job every time. The apple pie is definitely a sweet touch. I don’t know if I intended to have monthly cleanings in the beginning but I don’t want to go back so I’m here to stay!

Walking into my apartment after Apple Pie Maids was through with their deep clean nearly made me weep with relief. Not only did everything look pristine (seriously, how does one make bathtub faucets so shiny?) but even more importantly it smelled clean and fresh. If cleanliness is next to godliness, then Apple Pie Maids are angels on earth, bringing peace to the world one clean home at a time.

I am so grateful and very excited to become a regular customer, and I would be saying that even if they didn't give me a fresh Apple Pie from Tasty Pastry as a welcome gift.

From the beginning the staff were very easy to communicate with and responded promptly. They were flexible with scheduling me and were able to offer me a Saturday last minute. The two employees that came were very friendly and professional. They did a wonderful job cleaning. My least favorite task is dusting and they did an amazing job. Also my oven was pretty bad but they worked their magic and I don’t remember the last time my oven was this clean. We used them for a deep clean prior to listing our house to sell. I intend on using them again if needed for our final move and even move in to our new place. Definitely recommend.

We were gifted several cleans with Apple Pie Maids as part of my baby shower registry (absolutely the best idea I've ever had). It was wonderful not to have to worry about housekeeping when I had a brand new baby at home, but after that we kept going with regular cleans. I cannot say enough good things about Katie and her team! And honestly no one has ever gotten my tub clean the way they have. Like, it's a very old very stained tub and physically should not be able to get that clean.
10/10 would recommend (and do) to literally everyone.

They cleaned in places where we didn’t even know we had places. Extremely thorough and efficient.
