You couldn't ask for a more helpful and polite garden staff. A large variety of plants and shrubs, garden soil so much more. Take a break and enjoy a stroll through Home Depot your bound to see something you'll want to take home!

A couple of items I was looking at in the garden center could not locate the price

They have enough employees and that's a good thing. Being a contractor for the better part of a decade, Lowe's and Home Depot have both shifted their target audience from independent contractors to home owners. Again, not the end of the world but the days when I could pull my trailer close to enough to the door so the forklift could load a pallet of concrete or drywall on the trailer are long gone. I love the holidays, but I think they kind of overdo it. Obviously it brings a profit or they'd quit doing gimmicks like that. No wonder I can't find an associate when I need one. I do like the handheld devices being implemented. I don't expect every associate to know where everything is at and be knowledgeable on the subject. It's easier for them to show you to the isle and give you the specs on different tools/etc even if that's not their specialty. (B-) Employees are equipped with better tools that help stock and locate items IF management doesn't have them stringing lights in the parking lot. The biggest reason for the B- is that they're trying to transition to a big boss store that happens to have wood. They have basic materials but I can tell they've reduced construction inventory for more room for a few inflatable Santas🤷🏼‍♂️

Except jackpot! Hit the exact moment the produce guy finished stocking. These peppers were stacked, glossy, zero wrinkles, no “I’ll cut around it” spots. Grabbed the best one like I’d just secured the last parking space at Trader Joe’s on a Saturday. Small win, big energy.

Did a quick power walk past the garden center (because we don’t linger… we scan). And there they were! Double Knock Out rose chilling on the rack. Bold. Unbothered. Trying to tempt me into rearranging my entire weekend.

Not today. The garden isn’t coronation-ready yet.

Pepper secured. Roses mentally bookmarked. Schedule intact. Productive trip.
