This isn't about their service, just their manners. I was at the gas station at Falkenberg & Broadway this morning and they had 2 trucks and trailers taking up 3 of the 4 pumps. The employees went inside and tied the pumps up for 10 to 15 minutes before they even started pumping gas. That is just rude. In the amount of time they took getting snacks every other car in line could have gassed up and been on their way to work.

Thank you to Sunrise Landscaping Housing Installation Division for coming out and fixing my landscaping after Tropical Storm Debby blew our trees over. They came out to my home in less than 24 hours of contacting them. Thank you again

I wanted to write this review months ago but tried to give them a chance. Overall terrible landscaping company. I live in a HOA so we are subjected to have them or they would have hit the road the first week of me moving in. They are supposed to come weekly and mow, edge and blow. If they do end up coming that week, IF being the key word here, they never ever complete a full job. Sometimes they mow, sometimes they don’t, sometimes, they just come and blow some dirt around on the driveway. Never do they ever mow the front and back yard, edge the front and back yard and blow the debris in the front or back yard. While this is all going on there is always someone sitting in a Sunrise pick up truck in the neighborhood acting like he is supervising the situation. Can’t ever get anyone on the phone. Overall really bad landscaping business and I know I’m not the only neighbor that feels this way.

Our account manager Brian Brown is the
best! He has worked with us especially
well during clean up operations for the
storms that have effected our area. Very
    happy with him and Sunrise!

They are doing a great job at a project where I am the architect.

Your company and employees clearly have zero respect for peoples cars or property and that is why there is a petition getting signatures from home owners to fire your company. Take a look at the photos where they blew leaves , dirt and rocks on this car just after it was washed and waxed the previous day most likely putting chips in the paint and there are many other cars that had the same thing happen. Also the car still needs rewashed after it was blown off a second time by your employees. I wonder how the owner of this company would feel if somebody came to his house and did this to their cars? If this was a $150.000 Mercedes would your employees still be dumb enough to do this? Also left behind was leaves in many A/C units as well my neighbors water softener lid blown off into the bushes and never put back on. This was all caught on Video camera and if there is any damage to the paint once I get a chance to wash it you will be taken to court.

    Very unimpressive

Sunrise was hired by my HOA to provide landscaping services which were to include lawn care, trimming, pruning, irrigation and chemical treatments.

Having liven in my community for over seven years, I have seen several landscape companies come through. Until Sunrise came in, I never had any major complaints or issues. So far Sunrise has been a complete disaster in my opinion as they butchered palm trees in my backyard and completely eliminated the privacy the trees provided.

This company has cut major fiber lines twice in our neighborhood in plant city since they don’t use the “Call before you dig” which is required under Florida law.

    I hope Frontier fines.

I've been a loyal customer of Sunrise Landscape for some time now. The crews are consistently detailed and thorough with their weekly maintenance. My account manager, Darin Rath, is incredibly responsive and always addresses any questions I have promptly. Their service is outstanding and continues to impress me.

Poor work, Sprinkler system is not Installed properly. My oak tree was on city line and failed permit and then relocated on my property line. Paid for Saint Augustine grass now I have a 4 big dirt patches on the ground. Called and they said they don’t take care of that after they install it. Poor work will never recommend. I would have never used them after looking at the reviews it was the builder.

The service this company provides is horrible, the employees are the worst, different ones constantly, the mowers are in poor repair. Lawn is scalped do to bent frames or flat or under inflated tires. Please do your research before you consider using this company. I'm a homeowner at Rosetree Village HOA in Largo FL

I have been trying to call you guys for over a week with no luck getting to a real person in regards to damage to my property by one of your crew with weedwackers.

Ive talked to the crew and reported the damage, they stated a supervisor would be at my door soon and nothing. Everytime I call it goes to a message that says the voicemail isnt set up so I cant leave a message.

To anyone reading this do not work with these guys.

This company needs to work on their customer service.

Still haven't fixed the fence that there riders hit in December 2024 then had the audacity to say "we'll it looks like it was pushed from the inside with a rider" when responding with "I don't have one." You change your tune to "Can't be us our area of responsibility is 6 inches past your fence might want to call your homeowner insurance" Niles get it together, I didn't ask for the vet bills to be paid when your team didn't even leave a note to inform anyone. A simple " Apologies for the fence, it is broken and swinging inside your yard" would've gone a long way so someone doesn't let there dogs out like they do every single day for one get hit by a car causing lacerations resulting in multiple sutures didn't ask for that to be paid, just wanted my fence fixed, however, due to the lack of care, respect, manners and failure to accept responsibility for your employees my wife and I will be persuing a civil case. Also, Niles, Me (5' 2" 116lbs) and my little battery operating push mower or my neighbors push mower can't cause that even if I was running at full sprint, self propel doesnt let you go that fast without equal resistance against you meaning no high force speeds after you said that we tried both in grass and on asphalt doesn't work. Niles you and your coworker that came out unannounced walking through private yards should tickle yourselves funny with the nonsense that comes out of yall's mouths. As a business owner in the trades you are an embarrassment.

This pertains to a commercial property on the beach. Recently recieved a call saying that they are letting us go/firing us! They have taken care of our property since 2023 including installing all new landscape & irrigation. This was prompted by our requesting a re-evaluation of cost for our maintenance for what landscape is remaining after the hurricanes. We were told it wasn't good business sense to send a crew out for what landscape remains after the hurricanes. We are now too small! We let them know that we were going to have them quote for approx 10 new palms trees plus all the landscape that was lost, however it appears business is so good that they had no interest.

It seems what is written on their website is just words & not really practiced!!

In response: There was no attempt to work with us! We were just told "it wasn't good business sense" to send a crew to take care of what was left after the hurricane. However, you send a 5 person crew to the condo bldg across the road and that same crew is who walked across the street and did our maintenance the year prior to the hurricanes.

It’s crazy how this company lets their drivers drink beer and their workers drink beer on their lunch break. I was just a gas station and there was a sunrise landscaping truck there and all of the employees that were there even the driver were drinking beer at 12:55 in the afternoon That I wish I was a cop because I wanna lock them up and I called to make a complaint to the company because I’m actually a client of the company I used them for service and as of right now this will be my last day using them for service because if they let their employees drink while they’re on the job, I could only imagine what else goes on

The worst! Some employees are very nice and let me move my car before they blow all the road sand on it. Today it was almost 6:30 pm before they came thru with the blowers so I thought they were done and didn’t move my car. My windshield is getting tiny scratches from all the sand. I have NEVER seen a landscaper blow all the road crap onto peoples cars. What is wrong with them? Who teaches their employees to do that? They need to stay away from the vehicles and concentrate on the LANDSCPE. LAND not driveways. 🤬🤬

Sunrise is the landscaping company my community hired. Last year there was a fungus in the grass that became widespread because it was transferred through the mowers to other lawns. Despite multiple service requests and tickets entered, my yard remains diseased with now just a large dirt patch, with no resolution in sight. I have been more than patient giving them ample time to address the issue. Their lack of action has been frustrating. If you’re looking for a reliable landscaping service that stands by their work, I would look elsewhere. Customer service and accountability matter and in my experience this isn’t something Sunrise prioritizes.

Don’t ever hired them , worst company ever .
They never clean , every single plant is dead . Lazy people shouldn’t work in landscaping , this is clean they said .

Why are we doing 70 in the fast lane!? MOVE

Absolutely the worst. The language on their website - “can’t n earn for the customer” and “quality is our focus” - is a joke. I live in a DelWebb community where landscaping is supposedly maintenance free. I’ve had dead sod since I moved in 16 months ago. They say it’s a “fertilizer issue” and proceed to fertilize dead grass. No surprise, it’s still dead. We pay a monthly fee for a landscaping service that is non-existent. Hopefully our HOA board will cancel our contract with them so we can get a real landscaping service that cares. You shouldn’t even consider going with this outfit. There are plenty of people in our community who can share similar, horror stories.

As someone who works in property management, I pay close attention to the quality of landscaping in my community. I live in a townhouse with an HOA responsible for maintaining the grounds, including landscaping. After hurricanes Helene and Milton, debris and branches littered the community, and my front entrance was being impeded by an overgrown bush that leaned over the sidewalk, impeding access to my home.

On separate occasions, myself and my husband both reached out to the HOA for assistance, asking when the landscape team would clear the debris and address the bush. Unfortunately, it took nearly three weeks for them to clear the debris, and the bush issue remained unresolved.

Frustrated with not getting any results from our HOA, 2 months later, my husband contacted Paul Murphy at Sunrise Landscape for advice. Paul not only offered recommendations but also showed up personally to assess the situation. To my surprise, he took the initiative to trim the bush back, restoring safe access to my front door. He also pointed out the Brazilian pepper plants on the side of our house are invasive and suggested their removal.

Paul’s dedication, knowledge, and willingness to go above and beyond truly set him apart. His proactive approach and passion for his work are invaluable, and I highly recommend him and Sunrise Landscape for anyone seeking reliable, exceptional landscaping services.
