Plumbing reviews in Tampa, Florida

I've literally never left a review before, but am so thankful for the excellent work of Jeremy and Bayshore Plumbing that I couldn't not. After having two other plumbers out to look at a broken tankless hot water heater and being told by both that it had to be replaced for ~$3600, Jeremy came out free of charge to look at it. It turned out that the defective part was still under warranty and would be covered by the manufacturer. He filed the claim, had the part overnighted and installed in two days later which ended up saving me over $3000. He also knew coming into it that I had received two quotes for replacing the heater and didn't try to sell me on a new heater even though I would have believed him had he said it needed to be replaced. Great company, very trust worthy! Highly recommended!!

I was referred to Bayshore by a neighbor; I needed help w a broken supply valve and a leaking tank bowl. Within 48 hours of my call, Bayshore scheduled Jarrod to come to my home. He arrived on time, explained what he would do, showed me the results of his work, and was highly professional with his comments and explanations. The fee was VERY reasonable. Im very happy with their service, will call them again if/when needed, and am happy to recommend them to others.

Very good experience! Had some slow draining pipes, company offered a 1 hour appointment window the next day, the representative was right on time as well as extremely courteous and knowledgeable. I plan to use the company again for a water heater replacement. 10/10!

Great people to work with! I've had them out for jobs as big as a bathroom renovation, and just for clogged drains and minor leaks. I got a fair price on every call I've made to them. They fix the problem at hand without trying to over sell services you don't need.
Had a kitchen clog and leak, another company wanted to re-pipe my drains and sell me some sort of power flush service for $1500, Bayshore Plumbing fixed the whole problem for a fraction of that price, no un-necessary destruction and mess either.
Always courteous, and happy to be there helping you out, this company is family owned, so they care about the customer and you don't get the corporate crap the other companies will give you. They are also familiar with these old homes in South Tampa like mine (70 year old pipes = problems).
I highly recommend Bayshore Plumbing, won't ever call anyone else, even if I have to wait a day (they're busy for a reason!). -
Not a good experience with this company. When their plumber came out to look at our pool heater we had no leaks in our pipes under the concrete slab, when he left without fixing the heater we had two major leaks under our concrete slab that we then had to have another company fix, costing us a considerable amount of money. Another company determined the problem with the heater had been the motor, not the pipes. Bayshore did not take responsibility for any of this and then on top of it, billed us. I would not use them again and would not recommend them.

Fast response, friendly and fair pricing.
They came to my rescue when another plumbing company said they were 3 days out on service calls. Alex was our Tech and he was awesome! Thanks! -
Been working with Bayshore Plumbing for years. The work on this job was very good replacing a water heater in our garage to provide hot water to an apartment above. I feel like the cost was astronomical at $1000 to replace a 30 gallon water heater. I’m thing there is a different rate sheet for Hyde Park. Wish we were rich and could just pay whatever. My advice...ask for the price up front. Shop around. That’s my fault. Won’t happen again.

Bayshore Plumbing is a good company until something goes wrong. They did considerable work at my house adding a bathroom and replacing older, original pipes. Everything was fine for several months until a pipe that was not sealed properly burst behind a wall and caused thousands of dollars in damage. Instead of doing the right thing and paying for the damage I had to pay everything out of pocket while they told me to deal with their insurance company which is another sad story.
The owner, Ron Massicotte refused to pay for all of the damage and his insurance company did the same. Promises were broken about when he would be sending a partial check. This delay dragged on for four months. Thank goodness, the General Contractor chose to pay off my claim in full this week based on my warranty. Eva Claire Contractors are first class. I hope they go after Bayshore Plumbing. I would not recommend dealing with Bayshore Plumbing. -
Scheduled two faucets to be replaced in our condo. Receptionist was concerned about limited parking and so I reserved a spot on our dock for their truck for the day of the service. Waited 10 days for the requested license, insurance, necessary condo documentation, then made a follow up call for the documentation. They weren't interested in the job, (with the excuse of parking) even though I informed them I reserved the spot on the dock. Seems like the size of the job wasn't worth having to do the paperwork. No worries- plenty of Plumbers in the area who want the work.

Just came here to say I had called Bayshore Plumbing to help with my hot water heater that has been giving us issues. Jarrod came out and was prompt and friendly and honest. In the end it was determined to be an electrical issue and not an issue with the tank. I inquired as to a service charge and was told not to worry about it. This caught me off guard and I was almost looking for any other plumbing issues I had cause I felt badly. I will definitely be using this company again when the time come I need help with my plumbing. Thank you!

Had Bayshore Plumbing quote relocating supply lines and a drain for a washer. After a reasonable price quote, they were quick to schedule the work. Alan and Pedro were on time, extremely professional and courteous. I'm very pleased with the clean, quality work but even happier with the customer service and reliable staff. I will definitely recommend Bayshore to friends in the area.

Not impressed. The technicians are good, but the owner is who I have an issue with. We have used Bayshore Plumbing for some time and we should be considered good customers of theirs. We had them install a gas line for our grill and new water heater and during that install they removed our gas line to our furnace / heater leaving us without heat. We asked them to install what they improperly removed, and they want to charge us for something that they did incorrectly. The owner was not willing to offer anything other than full charge. I will no longer use or recommend Bayshore Plumbing.

I wish I could give them 6 stars! Jeremy was incredibly helpful. I had a quote from a different plumber for over $10,000 to replace all of the galvanized plumbing under my house. The other plumber even showed me a picture of a leaking pipe. Jeremy crawled under my house and confirmed that all of the galvanized pipes are disconnected and were just never removed during the prior renovation. Nothing leaking. He even fixed the water flow in my kitchen sink while he was here. He saved me $10,000 and I'm now a customer for life of Bayshore Plumbing!

We have used Bayshore Plumbing for over 10 years! Recently they replaced my hot water heater and as always top quality. They are always on time and professional. A true honest company and I would 100% recommend.

I had a gas leak and needed piping replaced. Bayshore Plumbing was responsive and scheduled me in. They only gave me a 30 minute window for arrival whereas most companies are 4 hours. They came promptly within that time frame and got right to work. They were professional and honest. Alex and Hector are a great team. I highly recommend Bayshore Plumbing.

Lance is a rockstar. He was timely for the appointment and thoroughly explained the whole process to us. Very professional, respectful, and knowledgeable. I can tell he works hard on a daily basis. He was courteous and kept the area clean after the repair. Thanks for taking care of our plumbing issue, Lance!

May be good at what they do, but their professionalism needs a little bit of work. Their van plus a moving vehicle was blocking a road, when I called to speak to them about it I was hung up on. A simple we will give them a call what have worked.

High rates and hidden fees for the machines they use to do the work. Hourly rate is $245, and rate does not include the cost of the machine used ($60) to unclog bathroom drain. $427 total to unclog a drain in 1.5 hours. These plumbers work very hard, however -- a machine fee ON TOP of a $245/hour rate is wild.

I scheduled with Bayshore late on Friday for a routine call and the plumber, Richard, arrived on time at 8:30 Monday. Richard worked quickly and accomplished a thorough evaluation of the plumbing system with just an hour. He was careful to complete the work quickly enough so that the work did not unnecessarily pass one hour. He diagnosed and mapped some "mis-plumbing" in a home we are considering (the primary purpose of the service). Also, within that hour he also tested the hot water heater, fixed a very small leak, and advised on other things which we should consider changing in the home. Professional, courteous, clear communication, careful and diligent.

We have relied on Bayshore Plumbing since 2008. They have always been competent, on time, effective and professional. David, who worked on a copper pipe fitting today and a bathroom issue did a great job. He's been here before and always a great job. Who knew? A person who can still brass a strong, leak proof joint on copper!
Can you get the work done more cheaply? Maybe but, when Bayshore does it, I stop worrying because they do it right the first time.
Can you get it done better? NO!
