If I could leave a 0 star review I would. These people are absolute scam artists. I had a contract with American Homeshield so I was forced into using this company by them. The tech Burleson sent out reported to the insurance company that a power surge had caused our circuit board to fail. Not only that, but Burleson insisted I would have to pay $650 out of pocket for the unit to be removed and cleaned before they would even touch it. After going around and around with the insurance company, we finally paid a different company out-of-pocket to come out. The circuit board was totally fine, a line had gotten cut by the fan blade and just had to be replaced. The new company's tech also informed us that if our indoor coil had been pulled out to be cleaned, it likely would have failed due to its age, and recommended cleaning it in place instead (something THEY only charged $68 for). Save yourself your money, and find a company that isn't out to scam you out of it.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY for your AC needs. They are completely unreliable, don't let you talk and try to talk over you as you explain to them the situation and then lie to you just to get you to shut up.

My warranty company scheduled an emergency appointment with them on a Friday for the following Thursday and we confirmed with them on Monday, explaining the situation with them that we have been without AC for over a week. They assured me that we would be first on their list and gave me a 9am to 1pm window for arrival. On Wednesday the day before the already scheduled appointment they call me to try and push back my appointment to a later window saying that they had other appointments in the area first, after complaining to Christie about the fact that my house has been without AC for almost 2 weeks in Central Florida and this was placed as an emergency call, she finally told me that we would get changed back to the original time and that the tech would only have to pick up parts before coming to our house as his first appointment. At 12:30pm on Thursday, we have yet to get a phone call from the tech or Burleson offices, so I called them. Then Christie tells me that the tech's Van broke down and she forgot to call and let all the scheduled appointments know that they would be running behind. When I asked if I would still be first, she said no and that she only told me that I would be first the day before because I was "yelling" which was not true, I did raise my voice and kept trying to talk to her but she just kept cutting me off and telling me "she understands". Not happy about this and now with no time frame of when we would hear from a tech, she passed me on to her supervisor Andy. Who then tells me the same story and informs me that the tech is about to leave again for his appointments and said that I would be second. I told him that I was told that I would be first and he then asked Christie if she told me that and I could hear her in the background and she said she didn't tell me that which was a flat out LIE! I then got upset that she flat out lied and basically told me what I wanted to hear so that I would shut up, after confronting Andy about it he told me he had the right to refuse business and called me belligerent.

This company is the absolute worse and according to all the other reviews I just read, I can see that I'm not the only one who has had such terrible service. I would not recommend them to anyone and if I could give them a negative star I would.

The people in this business are rude and give you the runaround. I called and left a message several times with no call back. My insurance company covered partial cost of my a/c repair. The manager told me it was not covered at all and they were going to charge me $650 and they had no openings this entire week. I called another company and they charge $165 for the service and are coming out the same day. Do not use this company!

Burleson was the contractor my home warranty service chose to handle my work order when my hear pump stopped working.

I received a call from a surly woman named "Marie" who displayed the bare minimum amount of courtesy when "scheduling" my service call for 3 days later on a Friday between 2p - 6p. I use quotes around the word scheduling because apparently when you "schedule" an appointment with Burleson it's only a suggestion and not actually confirmed.

Instead, they will wait until they are ALREADY WITHIN your appointment arrival window then call you and, if you don't answer, you will have *10 MINUTES* to call them back before they CANCEL your "appointment."

The technician called my cell at 2:42p and I couldn't answer because I was in a virtual meeting (Mind you, I was still at home because I work remotely). I received another call from Marie at 2:47p, which I also couldn't answer.

When I finished my meetings at around 330p I checked my voicemails. Marie's voicemail from 2:47p said I needed to call her back "within 10 minutes or my appointment would need to be rescheduled."

I called the office back at 3:39p and no one answered. Their voicemail stated that their office hours were until 4p on Friday but no one bothered to answer so I left a message stating I expected someone to still come out to my house because I was still well within my "scheduled" window of 2p - 6p.

Then I called the technician back who stated that "they weren't going to send someone out if they couldn't confirm the appointment." I explained that I was told I had an APPOINTMENT. Why would I need to reconfirm it if I already said I was going to be home?? Additionally, I was never told that I would need to be available to reconfirm my appointment. If that were the case I could have supplied my husband's or adult son's cell phones because they were also at home and available for the technician.

Absolutely useless "repair service." Avoid them if possible!

I came across Burleson Services through my home warranty, American Home Shield. My ac had stopped blowing air, which came to a simple resolution. The service technician, Andy, was very professional and knowledgable.

Could not be more disappointed. They have a contract with AMERICAN Home Shield and require payment before they will even schedule you for a replacement appointment. I have contacted them multiple times trying to get the dimensions of the equipment they were to install and was assured it would fit properly. The replacement air handler was over six inches wider and their solution was for me to figure the dimensions and cut and unfinished hole for them to fit the air handler in and drywall after the fact. No trim panel to cover the gigantic hole, no door to close over the new handler/air return. I am at a loss for words. Have contacted Mr Burleson and have yet to receive a call back. Would hope he would coordinate a solution that does not leave my house looking like an unfinished construction zone. As of now I am out 1600+ dollars and no AC fix.

Warning this company lied about the warranty period on a new Payne HVAC system. I was told it had 10 years. Well low and behold my system died in less than 8 years. Turns out it only had a 5 year warranty. Only one person came out to replace my system and it took him till 11:30 pm to finish install. Turns out he did not do a good professional installation nor was a permit pulled. I had to bite the cost again to replace a 5 ton. This time I went with Rheem with 10 yr warranty and a reputable company. Worst AC company I've ever dealt with on so many levels.

AHS home warranty set us up with Burleson. Lots of negative reviews made us nervous. Sure we had to wait 6 days. What did we expect it was 4rth of July weekend in hot Florida. Wow! Mike the Technician showed up, was extremely polite, knowledgeable, and explanatory. He had us up and running in 20 minutes after replacing parts he had right in the van. Thanks for the terrific service Burleson Services!

July 12th our Ac went out notified AHS which notified Burleson services they contacted us the next day but said they couldn’t be out till July 16th! They diagnosed us needing a new compressor but didn’t contact AHS till July 18th meanwhile we are calling everyday to get updates! Finally they order the compressor on July 20th and say it will take 5 days to ship! So we call on July 25th to see when they can install it and of course they don’t have the part so now July 30th it finally gets installed! 18 days in the Florida heat in the middle of July! This company had no urgency to help you, they never return your calls, they lied to my warranty company AHS and to us! Christie the receptionist was rude and never helpful, never could give a straight answer! The only thing positive I could possibly say was that “Will” who installed the compressor was very nice and polite! We will never recommend this company and hope others avoid them and if your warranty company sends you to them please request a different AC company!

I had been having a problem with my AC for a few weeks and finally after not being able to live with the heat called my warranty company, AHS who gave me the number of Burleson Services. Christie at Burleson contacted me the very next day and scheduled me for service 4 days later, not because of them but because I couldn't take time off work. They tried to work with me as best they could. So the tech comes " Jeff" out and he was super nice and knowledgeable, we needed a new part and the tech explained that it would take a couple days to submit the invoice to the warranty company but then they would order the part once they got the authorization from the warranty company. So turns out the warranty company is who orders, supplies and ships the parts not the contractor as I had previously thought. It took about 7 days for my part to arrive and when it did Meghan called me and told me the part was in and apologized for the delay, she scheduled me for the following week as it was a Friday when my parts came in. Again the service was fantastic the tech "James" explained everything in great detail and was very efficient. I have read the other reviews and to be honest I think they may be bogus, because I never had 1 problem. Even AHS said they are highly rated among HVAC companies in the area. I suppose it depends on the customers attitude as well.

    BEWARE!!
On 9/13/22 Burleson was contracted by my home warranty company to come and replace our HVAC system. We paid them $1,500 for services not covered by the warranty company. Part of the $1,500 charge was for pulling permits. In December I was renewing my home owners insurance and when they looked for the permits they noticed that they weren't pulled for my installation. I contacted Burleson to ask why and got no response. I called the City of Ocala to see if they were pulled and I was informed that Burleson Services isn't even allowed to pull permits in the City of Ocala because they don't have updated licensing and insurance on file with them. I have been fighting with my home warranty company for a month trying to get them to make Burleson pull the permits but they keep getting the run around from Andy, the owner of Burleson. I have been more than patient with this company and the owner does NOT seem to care that he is charging people $150 for permits (permits actually cost $54) and he is not even pulling them. HE IS STEALING FROM HIS CUSTOMERS!! If you've had work done by this company, call and make sure your installation had permits pulled and were inspected. If you are looking for an HVAC company, move on, this is not a company you want to work with.

We have 1st American Home Warranty who sent Burleson out on Aug 15th to fix our non working AC. The tech, Mike was very good and on time. By Aug 17th I had not heard anything so I called 1st Americano can who said Burleson has not submitted their report yet so they called Burleson who told them a compressor was ordered. By Aug 22nd I still haven’t heard anything and no AC in 90 degree temps so I called 1st American again who said they had requested Burlesons report twice but STILL not received it so again they called Marie in the office who said she would sent the report today. It’s been 7 days since the tech was here and Burleson still has not sent my home warranty company their report. Without the report 1st American can’t authorize the repair so we have accomplished nothing in 7 days !

Looking for a company with no sense or urgency and atrocious customer service? Look no further, you have found them!

Christine, the nasty person that answers the phone is flat out rude and will argue with you over the phone. This woman has absolutely no customer service skills and when asked I could speak to someone else, she refused and said I'd have to deal with her. This person was absolutely nasty!

It took over 2 weeks before she scheduled me an appointment even though the warranty company had received the part after 4 days.

The technician that came to my house was a gem though. He worked with a sense or urgency and called me ahead to let me know he was coming late due to traffic. He came, fixed my AC within 2 hours and showed me the empathy that a customer service person (Christine) couldn't!

I would not recommend this company!

I wish I could give you -5 stars

I was assigned to this company through American Home Shield and it was by far one of the worst experiences in my life! July 3rd our AC unit quit working. We called the warranty company and they assigned Burleson. Their first technician couldn't fix the problem, a second came out and said the other technician didn't know what he was doing. One of their technicians dropped the "f-bomb" while telling me he couldnt fix the unit. Burlesons owner told me over the phone that I should call the warranty company and tell them that the unit needs to be replaced. I called and was told that the technician had to do that. It took several weeks before they were replaced by another company. The new company said the parts that Burleson supposedly installed were used, dirty, rusted and weren't even the right parts! What frustrated me the most is that my husband is on chemotherapy and cannot handle the heat and Burleson showed no compassion whatsoever. I wouldn't recommend Burleson to my worst enemy!

My experience was very good from calling main line to advise them I was basically without air. They representative was extremely nice and accommodating.
The service tech quickly found the problem and I was quickly up and running. Yeah

My ac quit working. AHS assigned Burleson to look at my unit. They said it would be a week before they could come out to check it out because of a high demand for service. I called Burleson to see if I could get service anytime sooner. Lisa, from the office, said if they had a cancellation she would call me. The next day, Lisa called me and said they could come out on Friday instead of the following Tuesday. Lisa was very nice and cordial from the first phone conversation. She gets a big thumbs up from me. Mike, the technician, was very nice and knowledgeable. I give them a big thumbs up. Good experience!

Burleson is always good to me. They pick up the phone, get me an appointment and send a technician quickly. The technicians always do a great job. I’m very happy with the service I get from Burleson. I would recommend them highly. Lisa and Maria are very helpful at setting up the appointments.

I had a ticket with First American Home Warranty, which was escalated to "Emergency" status (wife has asthma, no a/c in Florida). Tech "Mike" came onsite and was great! System was completely shot, needed replaced. First American approved the replacement, but I would owe $1400 above my deductible. I asked for a breakdown of those costs, they suggested I call Burleson. I did, spoke to "Andy" (I believe the owner). Very shady on the phone, sounded like a car salesman. He mentioned $175 for a float switch, talked over me when I questioned that, ended up yelling at me, telling me he was going to refuse the job, that I would need to go another week without A/C and find another contractor, and HUNG UP!
They then DID refuse the job!
So here I sit, typing a review, while First American figures out where to go next.
Run away from Burleson if you have a choice! Avoid at all costs!

Over four attempts to fix heat pump and electric furnace by 4 different crews. No success. No courtesy call backs as promised. Service crews service trucks I’ll- equiped to successfully complete any job. For a simple 10 cent fuse I wait and wait. So far my appliances not fixed. Recommend no one purchases American Home Shield warranty contract. Not worth the monthly fee or the service fee! I’m requesting a full refund of my monies. Horrible experience!

HVAC would not cool on a Sunday of course. Burleson contacted us on that Monday . The person contacting us was polite and advised that the service tech would arrive the next day between 2pm and 6pm. We recieved a call that the tech was running early and arrived 1 hour after the call at 1:30pm. The tech Mike was very polite and knowledgeable and diagnosed our problem quickly as a bad starting capacitor and Replaced it promptly then checked the rest of the system which was just fine. Service provided quickly as stated. I can't ask for any better response.

Worst Customer Service Experience Ever. I as well have AHS a warranty company placed my work order to Burleson. I placed the request on a Thursday night. With the warranty company you place a request and wait for the company to call you and schedule an appointment. I never heard from Burleson, I had to call them Monday to set an appointment. My AC has been out four days at this point, it's 95 degrees outside and over 100 inside my house. Finally when I get the appointment set it was for the following Thursday. The company said they would be out between 12 and 4pm. Thursday came, now 8 days without AC, my kids and wife are miserable waiting for this to get fixed and nothing. No one showed up, I called at 3:45 to ask if someone was on their way and I received a message line and left a message. When I didn't hear back by 4:15 I called again and left another message, and another at 5:30 pm.
The following day I called my warranty company to let them know what had happened. they called Burleson and spoke with them. They told the warranty company they had and call no show for a worker and had to reschedule my appointment. They lady said they called and left me a voicemail, which was a lie that sent me over the edge. I called 5 times and got no answer and left voice mails begging for a call back and I got nothing until they talked to the warranty company. Burleson then said they could make it out to me next Tuesday, 5 days after my appointment was supposed to be set and 2 weeks without AC in the middle of July in Florida. Needless to say I will never allow this company anywhere near my house. They LIE, LIE, LIE, AND CANNOT BE TRUSTED WITH YOUR MONEY FOR REPAIRS. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER!!!!!!!!!!!
