I had an appointment to have my garage door repaired/springs replaced. The day went by and no one ever called me to say they weren't coming. That is NOT acceptable customer service. I will NOT recommend them to anyone. I'll stay with Broten.

Perfect! Rudy was courteous, arrived on agreed upon time, replaced both springs in under 30 minutes, gave a 3 year warrantee and was out in no time at all.

I’ll jump right into it. The installation process went well. Then I brought up that the property will be getting power soon and then we would be able to test the motors. Rudy replied: what motors? I continued and asked: did your estimator not catch that the double garage has 2 junction boxes where the motors are located? He replied that it was overlooked but he would send me another proposal (or what we call in the business) a Change Order. I obliged and went with it. After they completed the installation and I made the final payment I reached out to him for information on the garage doors (I was pulling the permits so needed the NOA’s and Carbon Monoxide hazard stickers that the inspector had requested) and that’s when he ghosted me. I tried calling, I tried texting, I tried emailing and not even out of courtesy to say that he could or could not help did he reply a simple basic text. And it’s bothersome to me because I am a General Contractor and it’s behavior like that that gives all contractors a bad rep. He got paid and then disappeared. He was aware that the garage was going to be permitted, he was aware that the garage was motor operated yet I was the one who had to install the wall mounted touch pad and align the garage sensors so that I could pass my inspection which, as the permit holder, is my responsibility to double check that all is up to standards and functional prior to inspection. But the fact that I had to finish the last touches is not my concern, my issue lies with him not having the decency to respond in any shape or form when I needed additional info in order to close out my permit. All this went down during the Xmass holiday and I figured well he’s probably out of the country and is not getting my messages and then I saw this page where it states that he’s been working during the holidays and then it dawned on me that he just didn’t care to respond. Whatever happened to customer service? Not good business practice, I’ll just leave it at that.

I can’t say enough about the service we received from Rudy! He is not from NC, was on vacation and we happen to pick up conversation and he so graciously took time out of his vacation to come repair our garage door. Amazing! Definitely recommend him 1000%. If he is willing to take time out from vacation can’t imagine his service in his home state.
