Percy and his crew are awesome. They arrived on time and and ready to bit the ground running. Percy is a true professional electrician who takes extreme pride in his work and it's reflected in his crew. To be frank, working with Handy Electrician was a breath of fresh air (he was brought in to fix a botched job by someone else). He kept a constant line of communication on work being performed, Percy and his team were very respectful of our property,and when the work was done he itemized everything. Handy Electrician will be my goto vendor for all electrical projects - I know we will get quality work that's done right the first time. Highly recommended!

In conjunction with work being coordinated by my interior designer, Percy recently installed a new ceiling fan and changed several electrical outlets here in my home. I was extremely pleased with the work he and his associate, Gary, completed.

After installing the new ceiling fan they re-installed our existing fan in one of the upstairs bedrooms and changed out several outlets. Upon completion of the work, Percy took the time to demonstrate that the ceiling fans and outlets were operable. And he also ensured any waste and debris from the work was disposed of.

Additionally, I was impressed with Percy's commitment to train and teach a student. During the install, Gary shared with me that he was still in school and working as an apprentice; Percy was teaching him how to do electrical work. It was apparent when I overheard Percy giving Gary guidance and/or feedback on his work. It speaks volumes about a small business owner who would take the time to teach and train a young person.

Percy and Gary were both highly professional and did great work for me. As such, I'd highly recommend Handy Electrician.

We couldn’t have asked for better service. Percy changed 4 light fixtures in our rental today. Called in the morning and he came this evening. Professional, detailed and he explained everything he was doing. On top of that we had a great conversation and shared a cup of coffee. We highly recommend him.

We’ve used Percy twice now to fix wiring in our old house and for outdoor outlets. He was quick, friendly, and did a great job! He came out two days after we emailed him and stayed late to do the job!

I had 2 exterior outlets that hadn't worked in almost 3 years. Several handymen had looked at the outlets over the years and been unable to determine the problem. I finally decided to call an electrician and got a recommendation for Percy from the Nextdoor app. Percy figured out my problem and had both outlets working again in less than 30 minutes. He was also the nicest guy!!! 10/10 would recommend.

As a first time homeowner I’m always extra nervous when something goes awry, but Percy immediately made me feel like things would be just fine (and they were!). He arrived within an hour of me texting him and identified and fully repaired my issue in just as little time, and was a total joy throughout. When my daughter bought a house in Atlanta that we knew it needed a lot of work but did not plan for needing a complete rewiring and fast. I started researching area electricians. We had several different contractors come out for quotes, but Percy’s background, fast response, professionalism, and fair price was the reason we choose Handy Electrician. We had a deadline to perform a major remodeling of the home in only a few months. Percy and his team worked with us or more like around us, as we performed demolition and rebuilding while they worked to get the home rewired and ready for inspection.

As the plans for the remodel where always being adjusted Percy rolled with the changes that we ask him to make. We had one light control center with multiple switches and needed to add an additional switch. I remember telling Percy I felt bad making him take it apart to add another switch because with all the wiring that had to be brought into those boxes I could not believe how clean and organized he made it.

I have had Percy back several times to make a few more changes and additions. He is always quick to respond, gets the job done and price is always reasonable. I would highly recommend Handy Electrician for any size job.

Percy is great. He is responsive, very reasonably priced, and his work is excellent. Recently, after a bathroom renovation, some electrical issues were discovered. He diagnosed and repaired them quickly and at a very reasonable price. We have called upon him for a couple of other electrical repairs as well. We happily recommend him.

Percy was amazing! He hung my mom’s antique Tiffany light and helped with a few other electrical needs. He is super quick to respond, easy and fast scheduling, timely, and very professional. Wouldn’t use anyone else!

Great experience with Handy Electrician! After one visit to discuss the project, needed materials and quote within a week, I had purchased materials and was on the schedule to get LED landscape lights installed. While Percy was extremely professional, he was also helpful as I had to call while in Home Depot to ensure I was getting the right equipment. He took the time to talk it out and I am extremely pleased with the final look. Within a day, I have received numerous compliments. I look forward to working with the company again and forwarding to friends for referrals.

Handy Electrician has done two jobs for me and I would definitely hire them for a third. The owner Percy has given me accurate quotes, done quality work, and was timely in his responses. While he was here, he checked in with me on his progress and asked me questions to make sure the work was going as expected. He offered recommendations and was respectful of COVID protocols.
