Two weeks ago I had the pleasure of doing business with C.B.X. Electrical Services. Chuck installed outdoor lighting around my home. I’m so glad I chose C.B.X. He was thorough with providing me the information on exactly what was needed in order for him to do the job. C.B.X. also installed an extra outlet in my garage four years ago. The 1 star should speak for itself but I’ll elaborate as to why I actually took the time to give a review, and a bad one at that. Originally I called Mr. Wise to come and fix my minor electrical issue (**tripped breaker**) but apparently if they are overbooked they send another company. Either way, this company came out to flip the breaker. The service fee for simply coming out was $199. The amount of times this man repeated himself on the cost of things and how he doesn’t overcharge should have been a red flag, which he did overcharge. The total was $230. What the extra $30 was for who knows, because he flipped a breaker that’s it! He stated he would be at my house between 8-10am, then he called and said he would be here at noon and talked about payment again, he ends up showing up at 1:45. I had errands that I had to run and had to leave the issue with my extremely busy husband who had more serious business issues that was pressing him. This electrician walks through our house with mud all over his feet. PICTURE BELOW. We are a family that doesn’t wear shoes in our home! Once I got home and saw this and was told by my husband what the cost was. I sent a text message with the picture of our carpet and called him immediately. The man blamed my husband for the carpet...which my husband was wearing socks through the house. I asked about shoe covers and if he wore them, his response... no one asked him to. Whattt?? As a professional in someone else’s home you have to be asked to wear shoe covers? The fact he didn’t take accountability is what throws me. For that reason alone I would like to warn the public of this company! If he can’t take accountability for muddying up carpet I would take a guess if he does electrical damage to your property he most definitely wouldn’t. Beware!
Side note: the breaker didn’t look flipped so that was an oversight on our end, which still doesn’t justify the overcharge or the mud on the carpet.

He did everything he said he would and could as well as identified and resolved some additional wiring. Provided professional service and great communication throughout the process. I had my smart switches installed at a great price.

I reached out to Mr. Chuck after my grandma's dryer caught on fire. He changed the outlet to the dryer and tightened the breakers. Mr. Chuck did an exceptional job. He is very knowledgeable and reliable. I would be calling CBX for any other electrical services I may have.

Mr. Chuck provided quick, knowledgeable and professional service! During a storm over one weekend my home received a power surge that fried an outside outlet. All other electricians were closed and Mr. Chuck himself was very busy. The fire department had turned off all the power in my home and Mr. Chuck walked me through pinpointing the exact breaker switch with an issue to get my power back up and running until he could get here later that evening! Absolutely wonderful service! He will definitely be my go-to for all things electrical going forward.

Absolutely the best. I had an issue with the power going out in 2 rooms that shared a breaker that detects arcing. He explained why it's tripping, and showed up on time for the appointment to fix it. He was very polite and knowledgeable and went made sure I was well-informed about what needed to be done and what the possible repair options could be. Very fairly priced and I was expecting much worse so A++ on that end.

Repair was prompt and he didn't dilly-dally. Easy to talk to and very trustworthy.
