Mike swapped out 2 light fixtures and helped me with centering the j box to allow the lighting to be centered. He was very knowledgeable and resourceful to get the install completed.

I scheduled this company for a "$75" service call yesterday, and I'm getting angry thinking about what happened. He showed up 1.5 hours late after he said he would arrive, and I told him that an electrical short in the bedroom was causing the breaker to trip. With a known active short that they haven't found yet, they turned the power on and left it on, which causes one of two things:

1. It will immediately trip the circuit breaker
2. It will cause the shorted component to burn up and potentially start a fire

Well, the breaker didn't trip and it almost started a fire as a result. You do not have to turn on the power to diagnose a short, but apparently these people don't know how to do that. They replaced the bad outdoor outlet/wiring, and apparently that changed a $75 service call into a $1250 job. They did not tell us that replacing this outlet would be $1250 until after the fact, and I think it is super sleazy considering the the fire risk only happened because they turned on the power before finding the short.

Essentially, they caused a very dangerous situation by turning on the power with an active short, and then they charged an exorbitant amount to fix the situation that they created.

I also asked them to replace a light bulb in our ceiling fan because the glass shade was stuck. They ended up tearing the fan off of the ceiling and breaking it completely. Now we need to buy an entirely new fan and hire someone else to install it.

Overall, I feel like we got taken advantage of and the way they did this was very sleazy. I'm getting mad just thinking about it. Be careful if you hire this guy.

I was looking for someone to take down a tv over my fireplace and replace it with a new one. I was skeptical about finding someone to do the job and charge me a fair price since I didn’t need to purchase any hardware or have a need for hardware to be installed. I just need my current tv taken down from the already installed hardware and put up the new one. I reached out to Yara Electric at about 8 a.m. the morning and received a reply immediately, within a min. or two. He came out the same morning and did the replacement for me. He was very prompt and professional. He did not over charge me or try and upsell me any new hardware. I was very pleased and will be using this company for any future projects that I may have. I highly recommend this company.

Yara Electric did a phenomenal job at my property, the owner made sure I was well taken care of and revisited the property to add an added feature that we didn’t discuss in the initial discussions. I will be a repeat customer for my next few projects.

I will definitely be using again! Yara Electric was great at communication, punctual and fast at fixing my circuit breaker issue. Went through 3 contractors who only guessed at resolutions and he came and fixed it without a problem! I can now finally use (2months no luck) my dishwasher and garbage disposal. thank you!!!!

Yara Electric repaired several non-functioning electrical outlets, installed one new outlet in a bathroom and an exterior outlet in the rear of my home. They replaced old outlets in the kitchen with GFI.

Before starting any work, time was taken to explain why I was experiencing electrical issues and the plan for resolving those issues.

Great care was taken not to disrupt my home while making repairs. They cleaned up after themselves and leaving very little for me to do after their departure.

I did not do any comparative shopping, so I cannot say much regarding their pricing. What I can say is their pricing seemed reasonable for the work requested and it was very affordable for me.

I will be using them again and highly recommend.

I recently purchased a Tesla and had to get my charging station set up in my garage. Mike with Yara gave me a reasonable quote to move the outlet and install the station. He was professional, on time and took the time to explain what he was doing. I really appreciate him answering my questions and providing exceptional service.

Nobody ever enjoys having to call an electrician, much like visiting a mechanic you know it's not gonna be cheap. But when you call Yara Electric, it's the opposite experience. Mike the electrician makes your day! I've used this company twice now and the service is unmatched. He shows up when he says he will, he is professional, and works to save the customer money by doing what needs to be done and letting the customer know what is encouraged but not required for your repair. He also fixes other electricians sloppy work so that you will have less problems in the future with things like loose wires etc. His work is nothing but quality at a fair price. I had him install an electric vehicle charger on the wall of my garage which required him to run power from another location in the house because I did not already have a 240v outlet installed. He ran the power and installed my charger and suggested I get a whole house surge protector to protect my house. That was 2 years ago and I've had no problems. The next time I called him I had bathroom lights that loss power but other parts of the bathroom like the outlets still worked, very strange. He came in and fixed the problem and showed me what the issue was, so I got a mini electrical lesson. I'm telling you, if you want a no hassle electrician with fair pricing, quick response, great customer service onsite and quality done right the first time.....do yourself a favor and just call Yara Electric.

Electrical is one thing I will only allow a professional to work on. There is no compromise on when it comes to that. When my VERY particular and selective investor client introduced me to Mike with Yara Electric who handled 2 of her home flips… I hit the jackpot on reliability, professionalism, expertise and skill all in one. I do not take reviews for such things lightly. On the first repair a few months ago we called Mike to correct a problem with our ceiling fan. We observed his attention to detail and how he shared his strategy with me and completed the work and he even cleaned up after he finished the work. Last week we had a scare of a possible electrical fire we thought was a faulty wiring issue. We called Mike and he came out and checked it out and explained the true source was the smoke detector!!!!. He disconnected it and detached it. He checked all of the wiring that was connected and made sure it was not compromised. This helped calm any fears we were having. He has proven to be a gem on large scale projects and small scale projects. and I will recommend him over and over again.

My experience with Yara Electric was nothing short of fantastic. Mike installed two exterior lights and a smart switch, and in doing so, he identified an issue with our wiring and was able to fix it on the spot. He made sure we knew what was going on/what he was doing, and he could not be a nicer guy. We will certainly work with him again.

Yara Electric came out and delivered! I had 3 ceiling fans installed. 1 of which was a high, angled ceiling. And boy oh boy, that install caused alot of sweat and anxiousness, on my part.
