I recently hired Pat Murphy Electric Inc. to replace an outdoor outlet, and I couldn't be happier with their service! They not only replaced the outlet, but also ensured it was brought up to code and repaired our circuit. The team was professional, efficient, and attentive to detail. Our experience was seamless, and I highly recommend them for any electrical work!

My husband and I recently hired Pat Murphy Electric to upgrade the electric panel in a recently purchased older condo. We couldn't be more pleased with the experience and would highly recommend the company for electric work. Carlos in the office was friendly, knowledgable and very patient with us as we tried to figure out what work needed to be done. He worked with us to get the estimate right and to schedule the work. He was fantastic all around! Scott and Noa came to our home and did a great job with a difficult project. They worked hard the whole day to get it all correct and then tested their work thoroughly to make sure everything was right before they left. Both Scott and Noa were friendly, respectful of our space and skilled at their jobs. They used protective coverings for our floor and were careful fitting in the new panel so that they didn't cause damage to the wall. Most importantly, they were so patient with my husband and his thousands of questions! Just a wonderful pair to have in our home and a great company. Joseph at Pat Murphy Electric came to do an initial evaluation at our house today. He was very thorough, approachable, and resolved our issue in a timely manner. Pat Murphy Electric is the best in Atlanta. Their rep Joseph did a thorough inspection of all the electrical outlets and switches that were connected to a fuse that kept flipping off. There were enough "little things" that he found and corrected that the problem is gone, and I am very grateful!

Joseph from Pat Murphy Electric came out yesterday to install an outlet in my garage for my Tesla charger. He was on time, polite and professional. The work was done quickly and everything was handled with care. I would definitely recommend Joseph and Pat Murphy Electric to anyone needing electrical work done.

We had two electrical projects and Scott and Darwin did a great job on both. They had to come on two separate days and were nice about communicating when they would arrive and were super pleasant and professional. We will definitely use them again in the future!

Great service from, booking someone to be at my place at short notice so as to be present during our kitchen range installation by other installers, understand the costs up front, and knowing that in the event their service were not needed , the only cost would be the call out fee. Joseph and Darwin were very personable and contributed to the discussion regarding the problem with our range installation, despite an outcome where no material electrical work was needed.

I am posting a new review today (11/10/25) of Joseph, an electrician at Pat Murphy Electric. Joseph telephoned ahead of the appointment time to advise that he was en route, then he arrived right on time. I was glad to have him back for our new problem. He was very thorough discussing the issue we had, and then he investigated the situation. He ended up checking everything on the problematic circuit, located and fixed the problem. Throughout Joseph was polite, listened carefully, explained what he found, then proceeded with the job. We are so pleased with his work, his knowledge, and his professionalism. We will continue to call Pat Murphy for our electrical needs, and we'll be sure to ask for Joseph!

I am posting a new review today (08/29/25) for another wonderful electrician from Pat Murphy Electric. Joseph called ahead to let us know when he would arrive, and he was right on time! We had a number of different tasks, and he was able to handle them all. He was very knowledgeable about the various electrical issues, and took care of everything expeditiously. He explained what he was doing, and left both the interior and exterior of our home neat and tidy. We will certainly ask for him again for our next electrical issue. Joseph is one more of the reliable, conscientious, and experienced employees we've met from Pat Murphy Electric.

Pat Murphy Electric was terrific throughout our 10-day power loss from a tree taking out our electrical and gas lines during a thunderstorm. Allen was their lead electrician, and he was wonderful. He worked long hours; even came in on the Sunday of a major holiday weekend! He and his crew got the work done, and got the inspector out in record time; who, by the way, quickly passed their work. Allen then arranged to get the power company out to finish it's installations (power line and new meter), and then turn the electricity back on--all on the same day as the county inspection! We highly recommend Pat Murphy Electric, and especially Allen. We are grateful for his technical expertise, dedicated work ethic, and sterling service.

Scott and apprentice Darwin were on time and super professional for our project. We had three different potential projects and Scott talked me through the options and tried to save us money where possible. Great service, great professionalism. This will be my call for all future electrical work.

I contacted Pat Murphy Electric to have a 240v outlet installed in my kitchen for an electric stove and was very please with the work Joseph and Madison did! They were very kind, friendly, and thorough with the work involved. They even made sure my electrical panel was functioning appropriately and provided a separate quote for other future work I was considering. I highly recommend them and will definitely be calling them back for other electrical work I will have in the near future!

Called and they gave me $75 to come out and then that’s where the reasonable pricing ended. To fix and change a simple doorbell transformer and chime totaled over $700. Absolutely highway robbery and I would never do business with them again. REPEAT WOULD NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN DUE TO UNREASONABLE PRICING AND TRANSPARENCY OF WORK. STAY AWAY

Both guys managed my expectations by sharing with me how they were planning the work, did great electrical work itself, cleaned up, and communicated with me the entire time. It was a great experience that stemmed from great people following a great process. That you for being my go-to electrician! You have my full recommendation.

Joseph was very thorough in his troubleshooting and was very efficient in his explanation of his findings. He fixed my problem in a timely manner.
