Steve and team have been cleaning my house for a few months now. I look forward to coming home and seeing the house on days when the team has been there. I have cycled through a few different people on Steve's team but they all do a great job. It is some of the best money I spend each month.

Ansley Home Cleaning is truly one of the most top notch companies I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with...but that may be because I've had the opportunity to not only work with the owner, Steve, but working with the most amazing person ever, Kim, who brings my place back to life after bachelorhood truly places it on life support. The company began by Steve, personally, coming to my house for a complimentary consultation and thoroughly assessing my entire domicile. He quoted me an exact price and that price remains to this day with no change in quality of service.

Billing is even top notch as Steve will send an email invoice after completion as to keep for one's records.

Then there's Kim...she's magnificent and incredible. She goes above and beyond to make sure that my house is impeccable upon my return. At first, I was worried about the level of mess and the humiliation I felt she would think in my head, but now the comfort level grows with each visit and I'm to the point to basically let her do any magic she deems fit. In addition, she does the little things that truly make me value the company even more such as whenever I leave notes for her of things I'd like her to assess, she even writes back which lets me know her personal attention to detail. To me, those little things truly matter.

These are people and this is a company which deserves accolades and I'm so glad the luck of the draw brought them into my life.

We have had a great experience w/Steve and the Ansley team. We used them in both a Midtown condo and our home in Morningside/Virginia Highlands. Steve is very responsive and committed to providing a high quality service. We have been especially impressed with his leadership during Covid-19 and making sure that he supports his team and clients.

Change is hard and finding a new cleaning crew is no exception, your after all entrusting someone new into your home and just hoping for the best. Enter Steve the owner: One word: Wonderful! He's patient, professional and extremely meticulous. He thought of things, that my self proclaimed OCD self hadn't. I appreciate that level of attention to detail and passion to one's craft. He completely put my mind at ease, and I knew this transition was going to be much easier than I thought. Then Amber, the gem that she is, came in today and conquered. She was punctual, hardworking and just as meticulous. Seriously my house is sparkling!! I would highly recommend this group to anyone looking for the very best at a competitive price. Give them a try, I promise you wont be disappointed.

Ansley Home Cleaning did a wonderful job cleaning our house. I appreciate that they always do a complete cleaning, and I have never had to have anything redone. Best cleaning service I have ever had.

Even though my last interaction with the owner was very poor, I will try my best to stay objective in my review.

We used Ansley’s services prior to Covid and had a positive experience. Granted, our family fell in love with our biweekly cleaner who was punctual and consistently thorough in her cleans. Truth be told, our interaction with the company outside of our cleaning lady was limited to billing which was fine by us.

When Covid hit, we suspended our services out of an abundance of caution for our children who were too young to be vaccinated at the time.

Once our children were able to be vaccinated and boosted, we resumed our services with Ansley. However, our original cleaner was going through health issues and would not be able to come back to us (which we understood completely). Therefore, we moved forward with another cleaner. Unfortunately, we cycled through 4 different cleaners - all of whom we had a poor experience with. Two of them did well on their first cleans but their subsequent cleans were poor.

I will list SOME of the things that were not done though they are listed on the website that they do and/or it was communicated to me by the office manager would be done:

- Beds were completely untouched/unmade
- Visible trash on the floors of stairway, living room, and hallways
- Dust bunnies throughout our kitchen and dining room floors
- Counters/hand rails/light switches/door knobs not cleaned
- Shutters only partially dusted
- Counters not cleaned under small items like tooth brush holders or soap dispensers
- Toilet not completely cleaned, wiped down
- Trash not removed or their liners replaced

These inconsistencies were especially upsetting because of the sheer number of times I’ve communicated with both the cleaners and the office manager on my expectations and my continuing disappointment. Therefore after the fourth cleaner did a lackluster job, I emailed the company that I would like to sever all future cleans with them moving forward.

I received a call from the “owner” who inquired about the rationale(s) as to why I was ending our relationship. At first, I assumed that he had good intentions but I quickly realized that he was using our conversation to make fun of the situation and was quite argumentative. For example, the owner literally laughed when I expressed my frustration with the poor cleaning services I’ve received saying, “Yeah it’s pretty obvious that your patience ran out because you no longer want to use us”. I had to redirect him by asking him to please try to see things from my perspective; introducing multiple cleaners into my home amidst a never ending pandemic, receiving poor services, having no consistency between cleaners, and utilizing much of my time trying to communicate with the cleaners and office manager to assure that my expectations were reasonable. When I referred to the cleaners as strangers (which to be fair, they are strangers to my family and I due to there being no consistency), the owner snapped and raised his voice at me saying, “we see our workers as family so I don’t appreciate you calling them strangers”. Although I do understand where he is coming from, it doesn’t change the fact that my family did not view someone we’ve met once or twice as family ourselves. I didn’t appreciate being laughed at or scolded for having a differing opinion so I hung up.

Overall, I would never recommend this company. Per Google, my reviews have over a billion views so I’m confident that this review will hopefully help others.

Steve and his team are fabulous! I've told him before that they're like Mary Poppins...they come in and make everything better. And I love that they use Mrs Meyers products. My place always smells so nice! "Maid Days" are my favorite days of the month. It's always SO nice to walk in the door after the Ansley Cleaning crew have been there and done their magic with my place!

Your home is such a private and intimate space and giving the key to someone you do not know can be a little concerning. I have never felt uncomfortable, worried or felt like I couldn't trust them in my home alone. They have always been professional, consistent, reliable and thorough. My home always smells fresh, it's clean, and feels lighter after they have visited. On days I work from home and they are servicing my home they are respectful of my privacy and tend to stay out of sight while still providing me a full service, in fact sometimes I don't even know when they have left. Ansley is doing it right, thank you!!
