Friday night, a large tree fell on my house blocking the front door. On Saturday morning I called multiple tree removal businesses attempting to get the tree off my house. Many of the businesses were not open, another could not do the job until Monday at the earliest.

Then I called 770 Arborist. Mark, the owner, immediately answered the phone and dispatched their emergency tree removal crew. They arrived at my house in under 90 minutes from the time of our first call. The crew was amazing. Their equipment was fantastic. Especially the crane. It was able to lift each piece carefully off my house to the point that my insurance adjuster noted just how little damage there was to the house.

Afterwards, Mark worked with my insurance company and invoiced them directly.

Mark and his team were professional and efficient, and I could tell they used top of the line equipment. When a tree falls on your house, it's a very scary, frustrating moment. They were totally upfront in how they work and charge. They did not charge anything upfront. They were responsive and transparent. They also helped us work with our insurance carrier to make sure they covered all the costs.

They were great every step of the way getting this tree removed.

The crew was very professional and efficient as they maneuvered themselves among the trees and limbs in getting all removed that they needed to. I hired this tree service company to prune a large poplar tree in my backyard. They trimmed the right side of the tree, removed the lower sucker growth, cleaned up stubs left from previous pruning, and carefully cut six upper mid-lateral branches that were extending over my home.

They also cleaned up the mess that another company had left behind, which I really appreciated. The team worked quickly, professionally, and did an excellent job. Their price was very reasonable for the quality of work they provided.

I was recently working with James Minor II to obtain a Certified Tree Arborist report for a large oak tree that is creating property damage. James is a good listener and very responsive to a property owners needs. East Lake stays in constant contact with the effective use of technology. The project turn around time for deliverables is very good. James is knowledgeable and his experience shows in the quality and detail of the report they provided.

We recently had a huge tree removed and another trimmed, and let me tell you — these guys leafed us speechless (in the best way possible)! From the moment the crew arrived, it was clear we were in tree-mendously good hands.

Overall I had a mixed experience with EastLake Tree Services. On the one hand, I appreciated how quickly and easily I was able to receive a quote from James at Eastlake Tree Services. The quote we received was also affordable and James gave me multiple options based on our needs. On the other hand, there was quite a bit of yard damage that occurred as a result of the machines they used to haul away the tree debris. When I raised those concerns with the lead on site, I was dismissed and told to talk to James directly. Before calling James, I reviewed the contract I signed which stated that I should expect "minor depressions and evidence of wear in turfed or mulched areas"; however, there was now a large patch of our yard missing grass and multiple tracks of dead grass due to their machines. I called James to discuss what I saw and ask if there was anything they could do to fix the situation, and he told me to send him pictures. I sent him pictures and he reiterated what was in the contract and noted that while he was on site, he saw that our yard was "leaking" which may have exacerbated the damage. Since the tree removal I have had multiple plumbers/septic tank repair techs come to our house and none of them have been able to pinpoint the leaking that they described. Regardless, James said he would send out his team in the spring to lay down wheat straw to encourage the grass to grow which made me feel better about selecting them for the tree removal. He also stated he would send me an email confirming what we discussed so I would have it for my records. It has been weeks since my conversation with James and I still have not received a follow up from him. I hesitate to recommend EastLake Tree Services given my experience with their handling of my concerns and the lack of follow-up.

James and his team at Eastlake were efficient, professional, and very courteous during the removal of my elderly neighbors 2 VERY large trees. I highly recommend this team to anyone in need tree removal services.
