We returned from a July vacation to a heat wave and a broken AC. Called a number of places to try to get it fixed on a Sunday, but the big companies were either closed or booked for the next week. I tried Georgia Heating and Air Conditioning, a family-owned small business. They answered the phone, and were at the house later that afternoon, with no emergency charge. James diagnosed and fixed the problem (broken fan motor) that day. Highly recommend for normal HVAC work.

We came home on the coldest night of the year and the heat was off. I prayed and called the original people who normally fix our heat but no answer. I then randomly called James and not only did he pick up but he was ready to get us heat that night!!! Unbelievable!! I decided to wait because it was dark outside and freezing. The next day James came out and fixed my heat in no time. He was professional and kind. This this the one y’all.. if you need help with your heat call this man. He will fix it and keep it moving.

After calling about 15 HVAC companies, we decided on James at Georgia Heating & Air Conditioning, and we couldn't be happier. Even with losing our AC in the height of the season, he was responsive, professional, timely, and knowledgeable. We would recommend him to our best friends.

Professional. Expert. Honest. So glad I found. Prices are fair. Didn't try to gaslight me like some larger HVAC companies tried. Helped me understand the problem and offered a fair price to solve it. (Some companies literally wanted to replace my entire system, outside and inside, but he diagnosed the problem as a compressor motor, which can be replaced by itself.)

We had an AC issue in the evening in the middle of summer. We have two small children, so we needed it taken care of quickly. Georgia Heating & Air was at our house within 30 minutes of me calling and took care of the issue. His pricing was fair and I told him he had just earned himself a new customer for life.

I can't express how happy I was with my Georgia Heating and Air Conditioning service call. The technician came to my house the same day I called, fixed my issue in less than half an hour, and actually told me the truth about parts that I have had other companies try and upsell me needlessly. The price was amazing. I will definitely use this company again when I need any HVAC services.

I got home from six flags at 5pm to a hot house. AC was down and I needed someone to come out right away to take a look at it and James came out on a Sunday evening to help me out. That said a lot already. James is great! He is honest, knowledgeable, and was very understanding to my personal situation. He explained everything to me in detail and answered all my questions. He is very responsive to phone calls and texts, and takes the time to make sure you understand everything. He gave me a great price, a great brand, and his quality of service was outstanding. I don’t know where to start how much I appreciate Mr. James. Sorry, it’s long but please read til the end.
The heater blower in my hvac unit came off in 2023 Jan. not long after we bought a house and heater stopped working. We went thru winter time with area heaters and finally AC also stopped working in 2024 summer. I had couple HVAC companies for an estimate. I met this company in 2024 summer. Mr James was the only one answered to my question. None of big companies sales guys didn’t give the right answer nor suggested a repair and they only cared about selling unit.

Kept James’s phone number and I reminded it to myself, I’m gonna use his company when I save up enough money for HVAC replacement. Yr of 2025, economy inflation crazy and we couldn’t save big money for HVAC. But we were getting mold issue without air flow in the basement, I had Mr James again for an estimate. He told me that very honestly about an outcome based on my house old duct system.

Next day, I reached out to him to move forward.
He said he will come over again and see if the unit can be repaired. He came by around 2:30 and checked the parts for repair. He looked for the parts and came back to my house with the part around 6:30 PM and repaired. Now my AC unit is working again and heater is supposed to be working too with the repair.

Not only he save me big money, what it touched me was he looked for the parts and came back on the same day to fix it. Who works like that these days. What business owner would be honest like him and trustworthy. He came over my house three times and my AC unit works again after I spent 1/20 of price than a replacement price. I would NEVER EVER trust anyone else but Mr James and this company for HVAC.
RS Andrew? Casteel ? RS Andrew didn’t even call me back. How many times I called? That company is a joke. I used Casteel in my previous house. They promised so many free services when I had my unit replaced but those free services never kept. These big companies are stupid. Please don’t waste your money on those big companies.

I don’t usually write a review unless I get really poorly treated. But for this company and Mr James, I had to write a review. Very honest man to work with who really cared about customers. That’s who he is.

James came out the next day!! He was very Respectful and honest with pricing. the system I have is extremely old, and has ran out of freon. Instead of just trying to make money off of me and temporarily fix my issue, I was recommended not to bc it would be a waste Of money. He couldn't tell how big or small the leak is without pressure. I could fill it up but it will be empty again, better to get ac units for the rooms until we are ready to replace it in future. Honesty over money!!

Our AC unit stopped cooling and we had a newborn so we called at 8pm and they were able to come within 30 mins and fixed the issue. They communicated what was wrong with the unit and provided us what the options are. Great service, reasonable pricing, honest and appreciate you all coming out on a late hour! Definitely will be reaching out for any future services.
