Langford Appliance is the best appliance service company in the Dalton area. I call and they come fix my appliance. If it is not worth fixing, I get a straight answer as to why it is more cost effective to replace my appliance. Brought my dryer in Saturday and they had it fixed by Monday afternoon for a very reasonable price. When they make a service call to my house, the servicemen are respectful, very neat and I feel safe with them in my house.

Professionals team here, with great customer service. Called Langford Appliance after a terrible experience with a national company who scheduled me four days out, came late, left my dryer unfixed for another one week wait while parts were ordered, I called Langford. They came out with in three hours and had my dryer fixed in one hour. Saved the day for me. Thanks guys!!

I have always heard great things about Langford. I however, will never be using them for services nor will I recommend them to family or friends. I called 3 days ago to request our LG refrigerator to be looked at because it wasn’t working at all. I get a call on day 3 from the service person saying that they don’t know anything about LG refrigerators. I understand that companies may not be knowledgeable of certain brands, but it isn’t right to make a family with a newborn wait for 3 days just to find out that they will have to find someone else to come service the fridge after all. Highly disappointed.

Very rude!!! We are trying to get a whirlpool side by side refrigerator worked on and the owner is extremely rude! Needless to say we left with our fridge

One thing I can say for sure is that they know their stuff. Upon walking in, it would appear that there's no rhyme or reason to anything they have, but I assure you, if they have what you need, they will know it pretty quickly. I searched and searched online for a specific washing machine inlet valve, and couldn't for the life of me figure out which one would work if not that specific model number (which would take weeks to get). In a last ditch effort, I stopped at Langford and showed them the old part... In 5 minutes they were back with a proper match (a used and new option) and my washer has been working like new since that day.

Scheduled a washer service visit and was told it'd be 2 weeks. After 2 weeks I called and was told it'd be another 2 weeks. I called Mr. Appliance, whom I'd never used, and they had an excellent, tenured technician out the very next day. And they even called me the day after to make sure I was happy with their service. I've used Lankford Appliance for maybe 4 decades but this will be my last attempt. I'm afraid time has passed them by. I've given a second star simply because of how good they used to be but this was definitely a 1-star performance.

Our water heater, 20 years old, shorted out Saturday. I went to Langford Monday, ordered a new water heater and decided to replace the washer and dryer also. They still worked but were old and the washer had already had service to repair leaking issues, it was just a matter of time. Considering we had no hot water, Langford went the extra mile and called in help and by early Tuesday afternoon we had a new water heater, washer and dryer. This is not the first time we used them and they always offer excellent service.

I usually only leave good reviews for businesses but I was absolutely floored by how underhanded this exchange was. There was a part we needed for one of our washers I was working on. It was a simple Lid Lock assembly. The older man behind the counter that acted like I was an inconvenience but got the part I requested and told me the part was going to be $126.... WHAT?! He said it was cheaper than it was online. I had already looked online and knew that was not the case. When I pulled up the websites to show him he told me I typed in the wrong numbers. I may be a female but I am not stupid.
Online you can find them at Amazon for $23, GRP for $78.99, PartsDiscount for $40, even walmart online had them for $21.99, Easy appliance parts $77. Some even include the lid strike with the assembly and it is still cheaper than Langford.
That is over a 100% mark up. Langford is charging.
The condescending comment about not typing numbers in correct proved inaccurate as the MUCH cheaper part I ordered fits and works fine.
I support small business, I do not support taking advantage of our comminutes. Absolutely shameful. -
Bait and switch! I was told 75.00 service call and 100.00 to come out plus parts, which i agreed with. The nice gentleman came and fixed my dryer in 15 minutes. Then he hands me the bill and charges me 160.00 service call and tells me the guy who answered the phone and told me 75.00 was the janitor! I'm only giving a two rating because he fixed the dryer and he was nice.

Was told they have a $100 service call fee...and 75 an hour labor rate. Tech Came out looked at the dishwasher maybe 25 minutes max was told the seal at the door was dirty and felt under the it while it ran to see if any water was leakin. I explained that theres a sensor that keeps going off and that you can hear the pump going and when the tray fills up....is when it shuts down by design. 4 hours later....the same problem arises again. Called next day and was told they could order the seal but was no guarantees thats the problem.....I said nah....dont think thats gonna happen saying as how you cant guarantee your work and im already kn for 175...and can buy a whole new exact same dishwasher for little over 600....makes 0 economical sense. Asked well since what you did didnt work is there any sort of something we can come to as far as a partial refund etc.....no sorry cant do that.....so if you want to throw your money...call these guys....thats exactly what youll do.

Customer service is a lost art and phone etiquette is no longer important for some companies.

I went to the website to look up some products and prices, but I had to create an account before I could see anything. I went to the home Depot page, found the info I needed in less than a minute. No more city electric for me.

HORRIBLE. The first time I call they suddenly say is this a good number to call you back at? I say yes and they hang up. I called two days later they said they would come the next morning. All I got was a NO show! HORRIBLE UNPROFESSIONAL don't waste your time. When I called to see when they would be here I got no answer. They also want a $65 service charge. They won't even give a rough estimate of how much it might be. All you know is IF they show you will automatically pay $65. AVOID I would not recommend.
