I had been experiencing flickering lights, brownouts, and sometimes complete power failures in parts of my house for months. I called the power provider to test for issues on their end twice and had an electrician come check out my power boxes, but they couldn’t find anything wrong. I finally called Mr. Sparky to completely change out all my circuit breakers, and install a surge protector. The two guys Murphy and Mathew did awesome work, but the power issues continued a day later. At this point I didn’t know what to do so I called them back the next day on a Sunday morning asking if they could come back because half of my house was without power. Steve came out and inspected the panel and discovered that there was an imbalance of current between my power boxes. He called my service provider to come out and check their end for a third time at this point explaining to them what he found and what they needed to do to test their service. They put a device called “the beast” on my meter and found the same imbalance of power. They finally opened up the transformer box across the street and found that the power supply was arcing, had burn marks, and welded the nuts holding it on to the bolts. Once they fixed this and reconnected the power to my house everything has worked perfectly. After about six months of electrical issues the root of the problem was finally discovered be Steve from Mr Sparky. I can’t thank Mr. sparky enough for putting in the time and effort to not only getting my power boxes fixed up with all new breakers and a surge protector, but also having the knowledge and experience to discover the root of the problem, and guiding the power company to fix the problem. Steve, Murphy, and Mathew you guys are true professionals, and I will definitely be calling you when I need any electrical services. Thank you!

My husband and I were very impressed with this company! We were quoted by Steve, who was very professional and knowledgeable. We had to re-wire over half of our house due to old electrical work from when the house was built. Murphy and Matthew worked an almost 13 hour day to get the job done. They were friendly, professional and did an amazing job afterwards cleaning up! I offered many times to sweep up and collect trash as it was getting later into the evening, but they insisted on cleaning up themselves. They did an excellent job and we are more than happy with their work. We will be calling Mr. Sparky for all electrical needs from now on!

We had a great experience having Mr Sparky help us with our home improvement project. Murphy was our technician. He did an excellent job, was very knowledgeable, and gave great advice. He went above and beyond our expectations. Murphy is very easy to talk to and discuss things with. My technician Steve was absolutely amazing. Did a great job and helped correct my problem and explained himself in a way that was easy to understand. He was very knowledgeable and honest with his assessment. He did not price gouge or even attempt to, in fact was able to get my power back on for a very reasonable price. I would gladly recommend him and his company to all my friends and family. In fact I already plan to. Any electrical problems I have they will be my first call immediately. Thank you Steve!

Matthew was amazing! He was prompt, informative throughout and knowledgeable! His troubleshooting and expertise were absolutely outstanding! We really couldn’t have asked for better. The pricing was reasonable and matched the work Matthew put in. He solved our issues, explaining along the way, and asking what we were comfortable with him doing. He was professional and cleaned up after he was done. Highly recommend!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! I got the honor of having the manager come check out my issues. I called and he was there within the hour! Resolved them quick and easy, worked out better than expected! Very informative and personable. He fixed some 90% of my issues while he was here, gave me his recommendations for the next visit with pricing. He understood I was on a budget with no judgment what so ever and helped me figure what would be the best course of action. I love that, so I know how much I will need, it makes it SO much easier!! He could have handled everything today but we are just waiting on me lol.

Steve was a bit early which was fine, told me more about outletsthen anyone everdid. Steve was also very professional in dress and manners. Mister Sparky is the electrician to call in my opinion.

Best experience in a tough situation!

The breaker for our well wouldn't work. I called local electricians and no one could come out (already busy schedule). I reached out to Mister Sparky (of Dalton/Chattanooga) and they were AMAZING! From Paige who immediately responded to my online request for help to Steve who came out and figured out the problem immediately. He had the damaged breakers replaced super fast and also realized our GFCIs were bad.

We have a cabin in Blue Ridge and needed to upgrade some fixtures. Matthew came out, gave us an estimate that was reasonable.
We scheduled the work to be done the following weekend and showed up on time. Great service and great attitude! Will definitively use again.

DO NOT CALL THESE CLOWNS! I called them for a simple repair that took an hour to fix and they charged me $370. While they were at my house they pointed out my Service Entrance Cable needed to be replaced, the insulation was deteriorating and the live wire was exposed (dangerous because it could arc and catch my roof on fire). He started punching at his tablet and showed me a quote for $19,000 to fix the problem. He said my base meter and electrical panel were not up to code and they are not allowed to fix just the Service Entrance Cable. My house is 50 years old and they are required by code to bring everything up to meet today's codes. I visited City Hall and talked to someone in the Buildings and Code Department and consulted a few other electricians and found out this is not true, I am not required to bring my house up to code and I found an electricians who could replace just the Service Entrance Cable for $600. They also said if you remove the power company's meter you are required to pull a permit. That is not true either. I called the power company and they said a permit is not required to remove the meter and they can remove the meter for free when they disconnect the power cable. They are dishonest contractors. Do not call them, find a local and honest electrician. $19,000! what a bunch of clowns! STAY AWAY!

Matthew came out in less than 24 hours of calling and went above and beyond on the house. He took his time explaining the issues that he saw. He completed his work faster than I anticipated which was also nice and organized (I really appreciated) and above all it made my house a lot safer for my family. Highly recommend to anyone needing anything done electrical in their home.

I had an excellent experience with Mister Sparky and their entire team. From the start, Matthew was outstanding—he came out, listened carefully to what I needed, walked me through the work that was required, explained how it would be done, and provided a clear estimate. He then coordinated everything with the installers, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free.
The installers, Doug and Owen, arrived around 2:00 PM and worked well into the night—past 9:00 PM—in the cold and dark without a single complaint. Their work ethic, professionalism, and dedication really stood out. They stayed focused and made sure the job was done right no matter how long it took.
I also want to give a big shoutout to the manager, Stephen. He took the time to speak with me, and it was clear how highly he thinks of his team. It’s refreshing to hear a boss speak so genuinely and proudly about his employees—it shows that he truly cares about them, and that says a lot about the company.
This is a fantastic group of people who do great work and have even better character. I highly recommend Mister Sparky to anyone who needs electrical work in the area or surrounding areas. We are extremely grateful for everything they did and will absolutely call Mister Sparky again if we ever need electrical services in the future.
