Jonathan and his crew at Lawn Capital provide amazing services. We have an extremely large property with multiple landscaping challenges. Large hedges, rooty lawns, lots of different types of land coverings and his crew makes it look so good every time they come out. They listen and are able to do exactly what is requested of them. They have been our go to for services for a year and each time the transformation to our property is beyond words.

I hired Lawn Capital to install sod in my backyard. I was pleased with the communication of my project manager, and the guys who did the work were wonderful, they had great attention to detail on the lawn and cleaned up everything really nicely when finished. I would hire them again.

I asked Lawn Capital to renovate the garden area around my patio (total job ~$12,000). This involved first removal of the existing mess with ground preparation, and then a later install of new plants. They worked with a landscape designer I hired to come up with a plan. They did a wonderful job on both parts. There were some adjustments along the way-the newly installed gravel path and stepping stones needed to be removed and replaced due to rain erosion, but Lawn Capital did so and made it better with sod and stones at no extra charge. And a miscommunication about plantings was rectified promptly after the fact, again at no extra charge. Jonathan is very responsive and professional and I highly recommend Lawn Capital. I have already booked them for additional plantings for my front year in the fall.

Highly recommend. We pulled the trigger and hired Lawn Capital to lay sod for us (after trying unsuccessfully to make our yard look better by ourselves).

We're very glad made the right choice in hiring them, since sod is an investment and we felt comfortable that the job was being done well. From initial consultation to final sign off, Jonathan and his team were professionals and great communicators. They worked efficiently and wrapped up the project ahead of the original schedule. They also took care of setting up our watering system, too, so watering is on auto-pilot. Love that that they are right here in Decatur, as most landscapers are OTP. And our yard looks terrifically transformed.

We would definitely hire Lawn Capital again.

Lawn Capital did a renovation of our backyard. The work included a new retaining wall, laying sod, planting a privacy hedge, and a play safe mulch area for a playset. Most of the work was finished in one week and the crew did a good job of clean-up which is always appreciated. I'd work with them again for any future needs.

Lawn Capital was great to work with, and did the most thorough work I've seen of a yard service company. Sadly, they dropped me as a customer in May 2020 because (and I quote from their email) they needed to "move in a new strategic direction and close some of our accounts." At the same time they did this, they were marketing and taking on new customers in my neighborhood! The way they handled this was unprofessional and not honest. Their website was updated to show a new fee structure that was significantly more than I was paying them - I believe they dropped me because they were taking on new customers willing to pay more. I can understand maximizing revenue with limited resources. If they had approached me and said "we need to increase our rates, here is why" I probably would have said yes. In fact, the company I switched to is charging me nearly the same as their currently advertised rates. Their loss. In summary, great service, but they don't seem to understand how to cultivate and maintain an otherwise happy customer.

I take back every single word I said. This company is the worst at everything. Their customer service is terrible. The crews are lazy. they do not communicate in a timely manner and they don't show up half of the time. For a premium lawn service company, they provide low tier service adn work. I do not recommend using Lawn Capital to anyone. I wish I could give zero stars and get all of my money back. They are a complete scam.

After multiple conversations with the director of maintenance and our crew manager and none of our concerns being addressed, I called to speak to the owner, Grayson. He literally told me that he can't guarantee any work unless he's on site. I'm not sure I would ever want to do business with anyone who says things like that. Sounds like to me he has a staffing problem and needs to do better training so he can trust his staff. Just my opinion.

Do NOT hire this company.

We had a complicated sod project, requiring removal of overgrown shrubs, drainage concerns, and shallow utilities. The Lawn Capital team did an excellent job of removing old growth, preparing soil for new sod, installing needed drainage, and then installing sod. They were clear all the way along with what was needed, what our options were, and where the project stood on path to completion. Also very considerate of our neighbors and neighborhood. Highly recommend.

Matthew and the team are so attentive, and the service is consistent and thorough. The service they provide is top notch, and they are consistent in their communication and customer service, could not recommend Lawn Capital more!

Over the last few years, Lawn Capital has been helping us improve our yard appeal. We began by hiring them for lawn cutting services then started using them for tree and brush trimming, and finally utilizing their construction arm to help build planters to renew the face of our house. While still a project in the making, we're already getting compliments from our neighbors about the work Lawn Capital has done. Also, the system they use notifies me of what service is coming up and what has just been completed. It is very simple to keep track of everything! I'd highly recommend giving Lawn Capital a chance to revitalize your yard or help maintain it.

They asked us for our advice and didn’t hesitate to go above and beyond what was asked of them. Will absolutely do business with them again!

Lawn Capital installed sod in my front lawn. They quoted me a reasonable price. They provided friendly and responsive customer service during the sales and installation process. The work was done in a timely manner, and I was very happy with the final product. I highly recommend them!

Our experience with Lawn Capital was exceptional. Even though our project was small, Jonathan listened, explained & gave suggestions on what should be done. He answered all of our questions and was very patient with us——especially since we lived 2 hours away. This gift was for our daughter and son in law and they were very excited about the end result!

I could not recommend Lawn Capital more. Ant and his team handled a massive job removing invasive plants and weeds and protecting the native plants in what had become an overgrown jungle. Communication was excellent, the work was done expertly and timely, and I can’t wait to use them again for both weekly maintenance with the quiet electric equipment and also to add new plants to what is now a blank canvas.

THE QUIETEST! They do beautiful work and leave our lawn, shrubs, flowers, etc., in pristine condition without us even knowing they're out there...twice now, I've been home all day, and the only evidence that they were here is how nice the landscaping looks.

The team of Sam and Rob spent a long morning cleaning up a much neglected yard; they were on time, professional, friendly and met all my expectations. Jonathan and his crew came highly recommended as a do-it-all company for lawn care, and now I see why his clients were so enthusiastic. Lawn Capital did a MAJOR "reboot" of our yard--cleaning it up, trimming it back, and making it look better than it ever had in the past. It was a no-brainer for us to hire them as our regular lawn company after that. They do great work every time, taking care of the little details that other companies often neglected or needed lots of reminders about. The prices are super-competitive, the billing/payment process is easy, and Jonathan is quick to reply whenever you need anything. Working with Lawn Capital is one of the best decisions we have made for our home since we moved in several years ago.

They did an amazing job on several of my projects! I had a yard cleanup, sodding, drainage installed and a slab put into my back yard. They were prompt, professional, and easy to communicate with. Ant was our lead guy throughout the whole process and he continued checking in with us to keep us up to date on the process, timeline, and issues that arose during our projects. He made sure we understood everything that was going on and gave us his truthful opinions on certain situations. I felt like they truly cared about my house and wanted the best for it! I would have them come back for any of my future projects!

I am very pleased with Lawn Capital. Naboth was great to work with to get the project organized, and Ant and team did a great job with the major cleanup that was needed; major leaf removal, tree bed cleanup, removal of dead plants, etc. I look forward to having them maintain the yard with their all-electric plan zero tool lineup

I appreciate that Lawn Capital uses only electric equipment. The team was hard working and accomplished a lot. I had them trim back overgrown plants. My property is more natural than the typical lawn yard. One problem is that they dumped waste and left equipment in my flower beds. This was temporary, the stuff was removed, but it was unnecessary. I specifically put boarders up in some cases to prevent this. In one case, one of my precious native plants is gone. In one case they trimmed back a privacy hedge so that it no longer provides privacy.

The crew leader was very respectful, asked questions and responded to my feedback, but I couldn’t supervise them the whole time and a couple of things didn’t go as I hoped. I think they are more suited to projects related to traditional lawn maintenance, rather than For people who practice permaculture or want to maintain a more natural environment with native plants.
