Kudos to Chris and Hunter for their help in remediating mold after a delivery from our moving company/storage facility. They arrived on time, were efficient, explained the process and then reviewed results. ServePro and similar companies are brought when there has been some sort of "crisis..." Eric Byers... I am a property owner in Decatur Illinois, I had a house fire and one of my properties and needed restoration services. Servpro came out initially emergency board up. From that point on everything went downhill. Servpro of Decatur is racist and practicing racist tactics. I went back to Servpro for the restoration process. And was told by the owner of Servpro of Decatur. That I had to put down 75% up front. When the owner called me," he said that this was his policy" and he felt like the I was not going to pay after work was finished..... And told me that "I was going to go on vacation with the money I had for repairing my property and not pay him"... This tactic implemented for the reason of my ethnicity. Knowing in the industry this is not protocol to give a contractor 75% up front. And at this point I am looking for a lawyer...

I assisted my elderly neighbor with a flooding problem and we are quite impressed with the service provided overall. The Crew Chief Andrew Parrish was not just along for the ride. He literally physically rolled up his sleeves and managed the entire project start to finish from water removal to pulling up damaged flooring and sealing off the area for the containment of potential mold growth. Hands down this crew made an extremely horrible experience for my neighbor, one easier to embrace with their constant flow of information, expectation and transparency. I would highly recommend this team and Servpro.
