We had a wonderful experience with Landscape Innovations. Burt was friendly, professional, and reliable. Our yard was large, unusable and steep with drainage problems. Burt took the time to solve our problems and delivered an incredible yard our entire family can enjoy. He came in under budget and exceeded our expectations. We just hired him to help us with another big project.

Burt did a wonderful job for me. He put in a front walkway to my porch and it is so pretty! He had such great ideas on where to place it and type of materials to use, that I would never have thought of. The walkway just makes the front of my house look so much better. Have gotten rave reviews from everybody that has seen it. Very honest and goes above what the job could have been completed with.

Burt transformed our backyard into a space we now love! We had the whole yard replaced with new sod and amazing new stone steps with retaining wall built. We also were able to add a beautiful stone edge at the last minute . Burt was great to work with and easy to talk to. It was all quite a process and he worked hard to make everything look great! We will definitely call him again for any future landscaping needs!

I have used Landscape Innovations for a number of projects over the years and have found them friendly and very professional. I had an idea of what I wanted regarding a retaining wall shared with one of my neighbors and Burt came up with a plan to make that happen. In fact, the resulting wall, sod, and plantings were far beyond what I had hoped for and were well received by the entire neighborhood. You know when you hire Burt and his team the job will be done in a timely manner and done correctly the first time.

Great Service - Professional Job - Easy to Work With
Last year, during the height of Landscape Innovations busy season, we contracted with Burt to solve drainage issues and sod part of our front yard. We also had bare patches with no grass in the back yard. Though it was a relatively small job, Burt fit us into his schedule and did an amazing job.
He even relocated a rose bush that wasn't doing well in a shaded area. Both the rose bush and the sod are thriving this Spring.
With those issues solved, we are now in contact with Burt to sod the entire front yard.

Burt and his crew did an extensive re-landscaping of our run down and worn out front yard, including removal of nearly all shrubbery and ground cover (filled with tree roots). All new shrubs and sod were installed. Back yard was re-graded, prepped and re-sodded.
Burt worked from plans done elsewhere, but suggested lots of good changes regarding plant selection and location, shapes of sod and planting areas, etc.
The plants and sod Burt provided were of very high quality, and were planted carefully and professionally. The crew spent a great amount of time prepping everything, excavating and amending soil to maximize chances for new sod and plants to thrive.
The prices we paid were fair and the quality of the work was excellent. Burt's firm was busy, and we had to wait our turn (weather and plant availability also play a big part), but once they started, they stayed until it was finished. The end result is beautiful and we get lots of compliments.

We used Landscape Innovations on two occasions. First to re landscape our entire front property and then two years later to do the same in the back yard. Burt was a pleasure to deal with. He was very professional, had good knowledge of his craft, worked very hard, and in the end we were very happy with the final products. He took a lot of pride in his work. My project involved removing 20+ year old overgrown shrubs that were taller than my house and replacing them with fresh new plantings. This has given my home a more updated and modern facelift. Burt did a great job on getting our yard leveled and soil mixed in after we had to replace our septic field. We had zoysia sod installed and we are very pleased with the way it looks!! I highly recommend this very knowledgable company.

This project was to put sod over areas where large trees had recently been removed. Landscape Innovations dug up the roots and rocks, levelled the ground, and ground the stumps where the trees had been. They added sand to amend the soil, then smoothed and raked it before laying the new sod. It's been over a month, and the sod is looking great and blending in well with the rest of the yard. Burt was very transparent with the whole process and the quote. He discussed all of my options with me ahead of time, including the possibility of me doing some of the work myself (which I am glad I didn't do). Overall, I'm very happy with the process and the results.

Thank you so much to Burt and crew for the fabulous paver patio job in transforming our side entry. I could not have asked for a better, hardworking, and dedicated hardscape installer. The results are exactly what we were hoping for, and the entrance between the house and garage looks beautiful.

Several years ago we contracted with Landscape Innovations to sod our front yard. We had already removed many large pine trees and we needed someone to re grade and smooth the yard then install sod. The owner, Burt explained how they amend the soil with sand to make existing soil more absorbent and the other steps that should be taken to insure a beautiful lawn for years to come. The lawn still looks great so when he called and asked if we would leave a review i was happy to help. They took the time to get it right and were more knowledgeable than the other companies we spoke with. We a couldn't be more satisfied.

Worked with Burt and his team last summer for a major reshaping and retaining wall project. We were leveling a section of our yard by several feet and had to build a retaining wall that rounded out the back corner of our lot, was over 30 feet long, and peaked at just over 5 feet tall.

In my opinion, there are three key factors to any contractor experience:
Honesty
Communication
Punctuality

Burt was always upfront with any concerns he had over the project and offered multiple solutions for me to evaluate. He took the time to explain any reasons why we might need to deviate from the original plan, always explained costs, and always showed up when he said he would. The quality of work and materials left me confident that I made the right choice for my yard project. Everything was handled well and there were no major delays in the project, nor did they rush off to start the next.

I fully plan to use Landscape Innovations again in the future for any major yard renovations.

Burt and his crew really saved the day for my landscaping project. My contractor cancelled on me the morning the sod was to be installed. The sod had been delivered two days earlier. I called Burt at about 9 am and he was on the job by 12 pm. He put his personal schedule aside to help me. He quote a fair price even thought he could have charged a premium for the predicament I was in. He completed the protect that day by 7 pm and the job was perfect. It was a better job with a few extras thrown it that the other guy was going to do. Easy to work with and cleaned up well afterwards. Even took the pallets away. He saved the day and the sod from dying on the 12 pallets. Should have called him first. And you should too

Landscape Innovations have been a trusted landscape contractor for over 25 years. Very attentive to the smallest details. I know when Burt and his crew are on the job , it will be done right and look perfect at completion.

I got 3 bids on my project and Burt was very competitive on the overall plan. He set himself apart because I had just a rough sketch of what I wanted and no knowledge of which plants would produce the results I wanted. Of the 3 proposals, Burt was the only one that was able to tell me how to meet the look I wanted.
After further conversations, I also felt the other 2 contractors would have done just the minimum - grade area, plant the plants and cover with mulch. Burt went the extra step to remove all the rocks in the current soil and mix in better soil with the current soil to provide a much needed extra start to the new plants. He also added a growing medium to each plant to further promote healthy growth. The others would have just dug the hole and planted ( I know because I used one of the "Others" before and that is what he did. Not the extra steps for success).
My project included removing 7 large evergreens and grading the hill with his bobcat to smooth out the yard, installing a 150' x 10' mulched bed with 18 new various shrubs, removing a loose river pebble drive in a 30'x80' area and converting to sodded grass, grading my front entrance and install 2 mounds with plants, river stones and boulders left and right of the driveway producing a very nice front curb appeal. The touch up measure was to grade and refine the soil on both sides of my 310 foot driveway install sod and very large boulders to accentuate the design.
I made several modifications throughout the process and Burt just smiled and made it happen.
The best part you should consider is Burt and I had very honest conversations and he always treated me and my project with respect. He gave me a schedule and showed up on time. He clearly communicated design changes and costs and I believe each change was fair.
Burt didn't just dig a hole and throw a plant in. He did what was needed to ensure success.
I am very pleased and would definitely recommend Burt to others. He will be doing any future projects I can come up with.

We hired Burt and his team to renovate our lawn, install new Zorro sod, and install a new paver pathway. I was impressed with the special care that went into prepping my yard for the sod installation. He regraded and amended the soil, mitigated drainage issues, helped move and adjust sprinkler lines, built a new retaining wall, installed a level and compacted base for the pavers, and artfully integrated the paver pathway into my existing path. He is a true craftsman and expert. When we had an erosion issue undermining part of the path, he honored his warranty and promptly came out within a couple days to fix a bad drainage pipe which was at issue and made the affected area like-new. All our neighbors have been impressed with our lawn and I happily recommend Burt to all who ask.

My project consisted of removing stumps and roots from recently cut trees, regrading the surface and seeding to establish a smooth and healthy lawn. Landscape Innovations provided outstanding service from the original estimate to the final results with my project. They were on site when they said they would be and took extra steps without request to make sure my wishes and agreed upon results were the best, without change orders.
