Love this place.....the owner definitely leads by example of outstanding customer service. Stop shopping at the big box stores. Trust me.....this family environment is worth it.

Always willing to go the extra mile with recomendations, suggestions and knowledge of plant care. Great selection of plants, bushes, trees, grasses, etc. Plenty of fertilizers& foods. Highly recommend shopping here.

This is where I get my five star tall fescue seeds, and they have a nice selection of trees and plants

There's a lot of a variety and they have beautiful plants. Prices may be a bit higher than other local nurseries. The staff was very helpful. 😊

This is the only place I go to for all of my gardening needs! The people are so nice and down to Earth. It never feels like anyone is being pushy or rushing me. I love it there!

We just used AofL for a major renovation of the drainage and landscaping of an 8,000 sf area that had been a grove of 13 100-ft oak trees surrounded by mud that drained up against the foundation of the house. Every aspect of the job, from design to mulching was completed in a professional and expeditious manner by a team of 8-10 highly skilled landscapers. John, the designer responded promptly to my inquiry and quickly and accurately assessed the situation. He then developed a modern, cost-effective plan involving removing the trees, re-grading the yard, installing new and effective drainage around the foundation of the house, planting contemporary plants, and laying 19 pallets of sod. The removal of the 13 huge tree stumps was truly a sight to behold. The new landscaping makes the house look brand new and it cost half as much as what was quoted by another local landscape company. Everyone at AofL was courteous and friendly. I have never seen a group of landscapers work so diligently and function as a successful team. I plan to use them for future landscape and drainage projects as well as for lawn maintenance. Kudos, ladies and gentlemen!

A good selection of plants and a knowledgeable staff. We found what we wanted for our front yard and were able to take them home to get them planted.

Be sure to get everything in writing beforehand! Not typically one to give bad reviews but our experience was not positive at all. Our builder uses this company to do their landscaping. Met with Tim at our property 3 separate times to converse and walk over the scope of the project to truly understand what we were getting for our total project budget. After multiple conversations and meetings I felt we were on the same page, until the invoice came... Tim charged us $1,400 more than what our budget was and and was completely unwilling to reach a compromise to resolve even though I sent him back screenshots of the text message threads showing where he acknowledged what we were getting for our total budget. Being in the business of sales, marketing and customer service myself I found our transaction with this company to be less than a professional experience. If the values and integrity of this company are being exemplified in the representation of Tim then I am appalled that they are even still in business. The only resolution Tim offered us was to come back and dig up sod and plants or to place a lien on the property. Never once did I raise my voice or curse during our final conversation, however I cannot say the same for
    Tim...

Unfortunately did not have a great experience and ultimately had to go with different landscapers.

Front office (Brenda) didn't seem to properly relay our wishes to landscaping crew which resulted in a no-show the first day of the project. Once we recieved a call back, we were told they couldn't start until the following week.

Great local spot for nice quality plants. Staff is very knowledgeable and kind. Reasonably priced. Will be going back again!

This is one of the most “UNPROFESSIONAL” businesses I have encountered! The sad part about my experience is that the Owner was the source of my terrible experience! She gave her word that my service request would be taken care of (this is after multiple failures) and when it was not taken care of Again, all she could do was make excuses and apologize! Willing to do nothing to satisfy the customer!

I would give a zero if I could... I used this outfit for a small landscaping project. The tree died within a year and a half and all I received is excuses, then they hung up on me. Apparently, they only guarantee a tree for six months? What a joke. That is not even a complete growing season, as my tree was planted in the fall. Do yourself a favor and go to Pike's Nursery. They guarantee for life!

I bought 9 trees from this place. 5 died in less than a year, just after the 6-months they give if you plant your own trees. (I never knew that if they plant them , they are guaranteed for a year.) At any rate, I have a total of 15 emerald arborvitae including the 5 dead ones. Six are healthy and were bought when the nursery was still "Andy's". With the new owners, they still cost $25 a piece at 3 feet tall but I got a really bad batch! I don't think my trees will be replaced since I planted them myself. I found another nursery near my home that sells the same tree at 4 fee tall for $15. Andy's is a rip off!

Soooo, I called to have someone give me an estimate on having shrubs removed/replaced. They scheduled the estimate, which was about two months out from when I called. That was strange in itself, but I patiently waited, and they did show up on the day scheduled. John came out, and we discussed my needs and wants. He said to give him a few days to send the proposal over; well, it took a week or two. I received the proposal on July 20th and called the next week to schedule the actual work to be done. I was told that they would pass the message to John, and he would call to schedule. Well, he never called, so I called back and was told similar (they would get with John, and someone would call to schedule). That went on for two months. They did call one day out of the blue to ask if I was still interested in having the work done, to which I replied that I had been interested since July and had been trying and waiting to schedule the work (I was told that they would get with John because he was on another job but would check with him and get back with me ...) Of course, I never heard back! I refused to call again and beg someone to take my money!!!

I ended up contacting another landscaping company to request an estimate. They sent someone out the next day and sent the proposal over that evening ... within 72 hours, I had someone on the property to give an estimate, the proposal received, and work scheduled (the work was scheduled for November, but they called and had an opening and was able to perform the work about two weeks after receiving the proposal). Never have I been ghosted by a company that is in business to provide a service ... you would think that you wouldn't have to constantly call to beg them to provide the service you requested/was seeking.

Terrible customer service! A nice enough guy came out to assess my needs and said he'd send a quote in a "few days." A week passed and no word from him. I called and the receptionist said, that he may have said a "few days" but it takes a 1 1/2 weeks to get a quote. I called exactly 1 1/2 weeks later and she said "it generally takes 2 weeks." No apologies, no anything. Needless to say, I canceled my request. I can only imagine how long they'd take if I used their services.

Nice place! Easy to navigate. Another handicapped patron was there and seemed to get thru the nursery just fine. There's probably hundreds of different plants here. Some I've never managed to find anywhere else. And the people that own it was really nice and helpful. They know everything they have and if they're not sure they look it up for you. There's also the staple red wagons for you to horde your choices when you face the fact that you're not just buying the one thing you came for. *There were also sod pieces and trees and rocks! But I held myself back

A quirky place to buy some plants. I went in as a shopper looking for just a few plants - I treated it as a garden shop. They were super knowledgeable and had a huge array of plants. Who knew there are so many types of blueberry plants...
Anyway, a great place to go if you want Cheap and well taken care of plants. I got a Japanese maple for ten dollars!
