Reviews of local pros in Hamilton, Georgia

Frank and his crew took down a dead pine in our backyard. Great price and got it done without anything falling on our well house.

They were prompt with their estimate and started the work within a week. The job they did was pretty difficult and they had no issue at all getting it done. They left is better than they found it.

Had a great experience with fortson tree company! Paul was honest, respectful, and efficient. Prices were great. Would highly reccomended

Had a great experience with this company from start to finish! They showed up on time and did a great job. If you’re in need of tree work, call Fortson!

Excellent experience with Frank and his crew reviving 2 big trees next to my house, couldn’t tell they were even there when they were done!

Highly recommend!

Frank came to my home within a couple hours of speaking on the phone to look at a tree that was dead and in need of being removed ASAP. They removed it later that afternoon and cleaned up the next morning. Thank you for a great experience and swift response!

I needed to have three trees removed from my property. One of them was near collapse and endangered my pool area. I called Fortson Tree Company and they responded immediately. Frank came out to review the site and provide an estimate. He was polite and professional, and gave a great price for the work. Due to the risk of the one tree, Frank altered his schedule and came out the next morning to do the work. He and his crew did a fantastic job. This is an example of an excellent small business and great customer service. I highly recommend Frank and Fortson Tree Company should you need tree service.

FTC pulled down six trees, removed two others that were down, and trimmed ~60 ft of thick brush in less than half a day. They even took the time to blow all of the excess debris off of my driveway. Cannot recommend them enough.

Professional service provided from the very first contact. The crew is amazing in skill and all are extremely courteous. Immaculate cleanup after the project is done. First class all the way. Veteran owned is another reason they go the extra mile and maintain the highest standards. Recommend without any hesitation. Simply the best tree service in West Georgia bar none.

Frank is one of the nicest persons I have ever met. I spoke with him by phone initially. I asked if he were available to come by soon as I was trying to get some tree service done within the next week. I could tell even from talking to him on the phone that he was honest and would do me right if I hired him. Frank was so gracious. He adjusted his busy schedule and came out the next day to give me an estimate. He walked my entire property with me as I showed him what I needed done. His price was very reasonable. I did end up hiring another person from another reputable company, mainly because the other company could do the work sooner. Frank was absolutely amazing in person. He is a veteran as I am. He explained what services his company provides. I have dealt with a lot of tree companies over the years. I can tell that Frank runs an outstanding and reputable company. He is honest and fair, and I can tell that he aims to please all of his customers. Even though I did not use him for this job, I definitely would for future jobs if our schedules and circumstances allow. Thank you Frank and thank you for your service! We are very fortunate to have you and your company In the River City area!

Frank and his team of professionals were absolutely brilliant in removing overhanging trees on my roof. Extremely meticulous to ensure no damage to home and property. Unlike most, when they were done, they removed all debris and organized the resulting firewood as requested. This combat veteran and team are unmatched!

Rarely do you find a service that balances surgical precision with such high-tier professionalism. From the initial consultation to the final sweep, Frank and his team demonstrated an elite attention to detail, handling complex removals with ease.

Their pricing is refreshingly transparent—offering premium results without the "emergency" markup. What truly sets them apart, however, is the impeccable cleanup; they left the property looking better than they found it. If you value efficiency and safety, this is the gold standard of tree care. Highly recommended

Frank & his team are the absolute best! Professional & hard working. They treat your property as if it were their own & did an excellent job! The clean up was thorough….even added pine straw where the equipment had been. Over & above!! I highly recommend & will definitely call them again.

Fortson Tree Company have been out 2 times to our home in Columbus Ga and given exceptional service! Mr Horbay and his team of employees cut down several trees today and cleaned all branches up from the yard and took the big logs with them. They are fast and efficient! I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing trees removed! Thank you

These gentlemen were beyond professional. We had three large trees removed, six stumps grinded and a lot of old tree debris removed. They worked together to do the job efficiently and safe. I'm already marking more trees for them to comeback and remove. As long as they are in business I will not call anyone else. We will also be recommending this company to our friends and family.

Frank and his crew are the best tree service I have ever worked with. They always go above and beyond, I’ve had them out three times. They move quick and swift and protect my property like it’s their own when removing trees. Highly recommend! You will NOT be disappointed I promise.

Nothing but a positive experience from arranging for the estimate to tree removal. They did a superb job removing an extremely large pine in my backyard. Perfectly equipped for hard to reach areas. Extremely satisfied!

Love this company and all they do. Frank helped me with removing a tree in a very tight situation. He did this job with ease and precision. I couldn’t recommend this company enough. They know what they are doing and they do it well.

Frank and his crew did a phenomenal job! We needed a few trees removed during a large pool build. Frank came out, coordinated with the pool builders, and everything went seamless without any issues. Quick, professional, and safe!!! Will definitely call these guys again for future projects.

Highly recommend this company for cutting your trees. Feb. 5, 2026 they removed a huge Leland Cypruss, Sweet Gum, and a couple of pine trees, plus trimmed the Crepe Myrtles. Showed up on time and the entire crew worked efficiently. Everyone was very polite and professional. Love doing business with a veteran, too!
