Top notch in customer service. Lexie and Beth were so kind and very helpful. The gentleman that repaired my refrigerator was also top notch.
I would rate Harris County Appliance a 10/10. 😊
You will not be disappointed using them for your appliance repairs. -
Harris County appliance Repair was contracted to replace my refrigerator door that was dented during shipment. This is a terrible company and absolutely terrible customer service. I spoke with Beth and Lexi trying to resolve my scheduling issues. Both of them are the worst at customer service. Lexi hung up the phone on me and refused to tell me who owned the company or who she worked for. I will never use or refer this terrible company to anyone. This company will only come to my area on Tuesday or Thursday which is convenient for them. I was off on Friday and they would not schedule the install. I was also charged $45 because they didn't call me when the Technician was an hour out. I work 30 minutes from home and could not make it there to meet the installer. I am requesting another company to install my door. STAY AWAY FROM THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY, please get this word out to everyone. Thank

The two guys that came to fix my icemaker were great, very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. They checked it out and told us what was the issue, ordered the parts that they needed which arrived promptly and came back to finish the repair. They were always on time, communicated well and now we have ice again. Great experience all around! Will definitely recommend them, and use them again if I should have the need to.

I have had them come out three times to fix my washing machine. Although after two visits they replaced the broken part the washer now spills water into my floor every single time I do laundry. After calling again o was told that I would have to pay again for them to come out. And all the the ladies in the office are extremely rude. They will no longer get my business nor will I refer them to anyone. As a small business owner myself I do not understand how they stay in business with such terrible customer service.

Harris County appliance Repair was contracted to replace my washer that my insurance referred me to. This is a terrible company and absolutely terrible customer service. I spoke with Beth very very very rude trying to resolve my concern scheduling the issues with my washer. She is the worst at customer service. She told me that she was the owner but if so she needs to close her business because she doesn’t know how to run a business at all. I will never use or refer this terrible company to anyone and I cancel my appointment with them and had ARW refer me somewhere else. I’m paying y’all to fix the problem so at this point don’t worry about me calling y’all.

$200+ to have my oven and stovetop in the exact same state as they were before. But, hey, at least the service was bad!

My first issue was scheduling, the company is only willing to set a time period for their tech to come out - in my case the time period was any time between 8am and 4pm, which as an insanely long amount of time. They refused to give any more than 30 minutes of a warning prior to the tech coming out, and the tech would only stay for a few minutes to wait if I was not home in time.
This creates multiple issues, first being that if I wanted to ensure I was there for the tech, I would have to take an entire day off work in order to wait around for him to appear and diagnose the issue with my washer.
2. If I did decide to go to work to make money to feed my family, I would need to be able to leave at the drop of a hat in order to be there within the 30 minute warning they give me.
I chose option 2. I warned my boss I was at the whim of my appliance repair company and I would not be able to complete me work for the day when they chose to call me.
When the time came and they called me, I left work immediately. It is a 28minute drive to my front door. About 3 minutes before I pulled up, the tech was ringing my video doorbell and letting us know he was here - in which my wife answered and let him know I was a few minutes out.
I pulled up no less than 3 minutes later to the tech already backing out of my driveway trying to leave. The absolute insane notion that I could be there when they wanted me there almost kept me from getting the work I asked for, and I am willing to bet that tech would still get paid for his time.
Next issue, the tech came in, spent about 10 minutes "diagnosing" my washer, and then informed me that they would have to order parts and they would contact me to reschedule to come fix my washer.
That was two weeks ago. I have heard nothing. My washer is still not working.
I ended up having to go buy an entirely new washer so I could stop taking my laundry to the nearest laundromat and paying 15 dollars every time I wanted to do a load.
My wife and I work for a living and dont have time to leave our house to do laundry at a facility when we have a perfectly good laundry room. Harris County Appliances was supposed to help us get back on track, but instead they took my $75 appointment fee and disappeared.
I would never recommend doing business with this company, nor will I ever utilize them again.
On top of all that, everyone who answered their phones when I spoke to them have 0 customer service skills and came off extremely rude. -
Service member living in Midland. Our dryer gave us issues, figured we’d need a new one. Harris Appliance came to the rescue and saved my wallet. They are a stand up business, fair and ethical. Thank yall for the repair and for your services.

The front desk lady was extremely rude and incompetent, this company is a vendor for Frigidaire. I was assigned Harris county as a repair company for my glass cooktop that broke. I was given a window from Frigidaire for this company. The time was set. I took time off from work days before to make this appointment happen. I received a call from the front desk lady who seemed like she woke up on the wrong side of the bed. I was met with we don’t give specific time slots out to Frigidaire, nor can we guarantee when we get to you. She also expressed she doesn’t keep her techs on staff if they finish other jobs early even if your time slot from Frigidaire is later. This company seems mismanaged. I asked for the manager and she replied that’s me. I asked for the owner and she knew she was in the wrong and wouldn’t provide that info. Quite frankly I think the owner is the tech. I wouldn’t trust this company to work on anything in my home.

ALL STAFF MEMBERS ARE RUDE & called us just now to verbally assault us for complaining to Americans home shield. Know you’re right, and if this company is sent by your home warranty, call and make sure you complain and tell them that there is history from multiple customers as we do not know each other and they will see a pattern, but luckily American Home Shield has confirmed that they will be on the do not hire vendor list!!
Dryer smells like it’s burning after they 🤦♀️
If I could give them zero stars, I would. American Home Shield sent them out to fix my dryer and I was told by this company that they would replace the blower wheel and the motor however they were so lazy they left the Motor and made excuses as to why they could not change it or didn’t need to be changed. They told me that it was not needed since the blower wheel was the only thing that needed to be changed and then they told my husband that the parts were too hard to come off so they’re going to have to order more parts to come fix it. Also they put on the back of my dryer properly and I’m missing two screws and then tried to lie And say we did it this is an extremely unprofessional company, and I would never recommend them to anyone and I have reported them to American Home Shield. More damages and scratches & damages noticed -
Always quick and knowledgeable team !
