I called spoke with secretary, she said someone would call me back tomorrow. Never received a call back regarding a service I needed

Charged $85 for a 2 minute consultation. Told me it needs to be cleaned, which was extremely obvious from looking at it.

We always have to put something else down to get our grass green. If it's being treated it should be green.

They responded very quickly. They looked at the job the very next day. They could just do weekly maintenance and within a couple months it would look much better, but they really felt that all the old growth should be completely removed and started over. I got the quote for the maintenance (once per week) quickly, about $350/month. However, they were unwilling to only come twice a month which is what I really needed. Once a week was more than I needed. It took them three weeks to finally give me the estimate for removing all the current growth, and that was the shocker. The quote was just short of $10,000. The area was about 110 feet long and probably 15' wide. I had given up on the company since I had emailed about the quote and never got a reply before I hired another company in the meantime. That company charged $950 to do the same work. It took two people about 10 hours to clear up the area. I remain baffled at $10,000. I own a 7500lb excavator in WA state and could have done that job in half the time by myself. Again, I can't imagine why the estimate was so high. 20 hours of manual labor...$9,951. That's nearly $500 an hour!

Edit: after seeing the owners response, I'm still baffled. If the very few stumps that were left were to be completely removed, I could have rented an excavator for a day for less than $300. This entire job with a small excavator was a days work for one person. That would have included complete stump removal. Removing the stumps that were left would have literally taken minutes with an excavator, and yes, there was plenty of room for using one in that area.

This company sent me a bill for a service that I never authorized nor spoke with anyone about. The person I called states that their policy is to take word of mouth authorizations and that they don't have to have signatures from the homeowner and that she does not have a written authorization to initiate any service on my property. I advised her that since she doesn't have any written contract or agreement from the homeowner and decision-maker, it is not legal to perform unauthorized services on my property and will not hold up in court. I advised that I already have a lawn service and that I never authorized any service from them. She keeps trying to tell me about a lady in the backyard authorized the service and again I advised that I am the homeowner and I never authorized any service. I also advised that she cancel any service and any bill because I will not pay for a service that I did not authorize and I am willing to take this company to court if necessary.

Very nice helpful people. However, their mosquito plan is very confusing to understand. I didn't want to be on a "plan". I
only wanted them to just come out & spray. They sprayed & installed a pod. I still had lots of mosquitoes. I canceled & decided to take care of it myself.

Great company, one of the few that CUSTOMER SERVICE actually is paramount to them. Johnny and Jeff are great to work with, they make sure everything is done correctly ; they also very respectful to their clients and their property. 5 star plus company.
