Had filter guards installed, does what they say. Keeps leaves out of your gutters, what they don’t tell you is leaves pile up on top of the leaf filter plate. Still have to pay someone to come clean off the gutters. Very expensive, rep screwed us on the financing, charged us a finance charge to use a certain credit card. Did a shoddy instal job, left yard a mess, screws, metal parts in yard. Now the back breaker, we need to have a new roof installed, it needs to be fortified certified and with the way the filter guard is installed they won’t certify it unless we have all our gutters removed.

We had the LeaFilter Gutter Protection system installed on our house last November. There were some things about the installation process that I had to question which was them wanting to install it in the pouring rain. I insisted they wait until it was dry to seal the gutters. The technicians installing the gutters were fast but not as detailed as I was hoping and as I was told during the sales presentation. They did not clear the downspouts prior to installation and I found out the hard way after the first good rain. I did not see them check the drop of the gutters as well but that wasn't really a big problem in my case.
My areas of disappointment with this system is that the flashing that was installed at the base of the valleys does not allow any debris from leaves, small twigs etc to drop off the gutters so it thus causes build up. When it rains, the water routes around the flashing and debris and runs directly over the gutters instead of into the gutter and on to the down spouts. When the technician came out he stated that there is no way to prevent the build up at those locations and that someone would have to get on the roof to clear the debris from time to time to prevent it from happening. This is in direct contradiction to the advertisement shown on TV that states that, "once installed you wont have to get on the roof again." I feel that is very deceptive, dishonest advertising. Granted you wont have to clean out the actual gutters but you will have to get on the roof, nonetheless, to clear the debris from behind the flashing in the valleys. I was hoping that I wouldn't ever have to get back on the roof again. I can manage it now but in 10 years I'll be 70 years old and probably not be able to so will have to hire someone. Otherwise, the rain is handled well by the rest of the gutter system and they don't get clogged up. I'm now waiting for hurricane season to give them the real test. We'll see what happens, wish me luck!

My estimate appointment was scheduled for 7pm on a Friday. Sales rep called that he was running late and it would be closer to 7:30. It was closer to 7:45. After he took the measurements he wanted to come inside to go over the products. Everyone else I was getting quotes from would do their measurements then give me their estimates right away while we stood outside . At this point it’s already past 8pm on a Friday and I had mentioned it had been a long day and a long week. He said he’d quickly go over everything. A HOUR later he finally gave me the pricing. I told him I’d like to consider it and look at my finances first. His demeanor started to change at this point. He then kept trying to come up with other ‘deals’ for me so I’d say yes. I told him I’d like the weekend to look at my finances and consider the other estimates I had received, I didn’t want to make a rash decision. He told me he couldn’t keep the best offer on the table after he left. He helped make my decision with his change in demeanor and comment. I was only asking for the weekend to consider everything, not an extended period of time. On top of all of that he didn’t consider his surroundings. It was past 8pm and he was inside a female’s home… be a little more considerate and professional. We could have sat outside or he could have given me the estimate right away since he was already 45 minutes late.

Called for a quote on a 40 gutter with 13 foot downspout with no leaffilter system. Salesman quoted me $1800, then knocked it down to $1000, then lowered again to $570. Ended up going with another company because I felt he was trying to take advantage of me by originally trying to charge me $1800. Very unprofessional. Had gutter installed by a reputable local company for less than $400 which included a labor and material warranty. Buyer beware. Do your homework before hiring.

I just want to take a moment to warn anyone who is looking for gutters to look elsewhere. This company is the worst. I bought gutters last week and gave them my CC information to pay in full. I have a signed contract with installation scheduled for between 9 and 11 am today. At 12:45 I called to see why they were not here. After 3 hours of being lied to on 3 separate calls I gave up. My salesman was Stephen, whatever you do don't buy anything from this guy, he doesn't follow up and is totally worthless. I lost an entire day waiting for these people to come do something I was paying them $4800 to do with no results. They are the worst.

Great sales person ,very personal no hard push sale

Leaf Filter did my install on 3/17/2022. I got up to inspect my gutters last week. The install looks nothing like the sales rep presentation or the TV commercials. The material is not smooth or straight. Sections are pitched towards the house so debris can build up. I called and requested an inspection. The gentleman who did the inspection said it was not properly installed. Now they have to schedule a rework to correct the installation. The branch that did the install is based in Mobile, Al.. Terrible work on the install. It is a shame that you pay for the work only to have it not done right. We will see if they actually come back to correct their mistalkes. I would appreciate it if someone from Leaf Filter Corporate would contact me directly.

They are suppose to come out tomorrow 7/1 to do the repair. We will see. I feel sorry for Judy, an employee. She listened to my frustration and was professional. I appreciate that. I asked for someone in management to call me. She was honest and told me that probably wasn't going to happen, they are busy. Guess management doesn't care about custome feedback or concerns. Thank you Judy, it is a shame you have to bear the blunt of customer complaints without any support of management.

Had decided to go with this company but had questions and after 3 weeks with no response got another company that was half the price with the same quality. After cancelling leafFilter they showed up 2 weeks later to install. We sent them away. They claim lifetime warranty but they charge $$$$$ to come to your home to look to see if it fits under their "lifetime" warranty, which it usually does not. Buyer BEWARE!!!!
Update: after our gutters were installed, from the other company, 2 of our neighbors were so impressed with the looks and quality they are having gutters installed from the same company we used......LeafFilter should have better customer service and they could have had business from 3 households..YOU SNOOZE YOU LOOSE...🤷🏻‍♀️

Great product, only one thing. If the salesman tells you they will come back if you need a new roof and take them down and put them up for free.
Not true. When I purchase them, I told him that I was getting a new roof this year. That is when he told me they would come back ( at not charge ) and take them down and put them back up for free.
I was charged 100 for each time.
Not happy about that, but company and product are outstanding.

The salesman was keen to show us all of the strong points of the LeafFilter product. He helped us in understanding the product and selecting the right installation details. Installation occurred the very next day! Wow! Installation was completed without any difficulty and was confirmed with us to be sure it was correctly done. We’re waiting for rain so we can see the gutters do their job.

We had leaf Filter guard installed Aug 2019 and very happy they do honor their warranty. After a called to the Leaf Guard service phone number a technician arrived today and inspection and cleaned the Leaf Filter Guard gutters.

I no longer must get out my ladder to clear the leaves and debris from my gutters. I would put this off for too long and the gutters would usually overflow during the spring rains. Now I do not have to worry about cleaning out the gutters frequently enough.

The crew that installed the gutters and filters arrived promptly on the day scheduled. They explained the installation to us and proceeded to install the product. They were very polite and professional. They cleaned up the site after they finished. Overall, it was a very satisfying experience.

Cleaned out gutters and downspouts. Now I realize that the downspouts have been clogged for years. Work done very professionally.

I can’t speak on the quality of the work because I didn’t use them. The salesman that came to my home was very friendly, helpful, and informative. He did his job well. But man are these people outrageously priced. My gutters with filters were quoted close to $10k then he added a couple different “discounts” bringing the price down to $6300. This did NOT include the back of my house or all of my downspouts. It was my first time having gutter work done so I wasn’t aware of price ranges so I told him to get me scheduled. Then I started telling people how much and everyone said it was outrageous so I jumped on google and came across reviews saying try local companies. So I did a google search for a locally owned company, I won’t mention their name, that had hundreds of 5 star reviews. Called them for a quote. Ultimately wound up using the local company for $3900 that included ALL gutters, ALL downspouts, PLUS a “leaf filter” with lifetime warranty. So I’d definitely recommend shopping around.

I prolonged getting gutters until I could find the best leaf filter system because we have many trees.This leaf filter system is a superior product. The warranty is matchless in the industry and transferable. We will not ever have to clean out gutters for life of the product.

Professional and friendly salesman! Our Install was scheduled only a few days after we received the quote.

Installer was a perfectionist. He customized three downspouts for rain barrels and navigated one downspout over pool pump.

The Leaf Filter Product is not cheap but worth every dime. We already had two downpours and worked perfectly. Exceptional product and service all the way through!

I am impressed with the quality and lifetime warranty on leaf filters. The installer was on time and got to work right away. He took his time cleaning and sealing our old gutters and then installing filters. The only complaint I have is the gentleman who gave my Mom the estimate was a little pushy and told her the offer he was giving her was only good for 30 days. ( coupons and senior discounts) He ended up giving her the original estimate price anyway but his stern attitude was not pleasant to my Mom or myself. Maybe he should rethink his approach because we almost went another direction due to uncomfortable feelings he made us feel.
