Island Ohana Tree Service did a wonderful job with trimming four large trees at our Nuuanu home. After calling, they were able to have someone out for a quote the on Monday and the following week they completed the service. The estimate was very reasonable and everyone seemed knowledgeable. My husband wanted a company that knew about Hawaii trees and we got it with this tree care company. They cleaned all their tools and knew how to protect our trees after trimming. We will definitely use them again in the future!

Best service out there for tree cutting. We had a lot of overgrowth and Brian and his professional team worked hard and efficiently to get the job done at a competitive price. 5 stars all around!

Had a 50' fir trimmed and 4 40' manila palms removed. Brian did an excellent job, making sure my wife and I were real clear on what we wanted done on the fir; taking his time to be sure we were pleased with what he actually did. On the palms, he was very careful in tight situation to make sure the trees fell correctly not damaging our roof or nearby plants.

Brian came to our house to provide an estimate within 48 hours of us requesting one. Within a week, he and his team (2 other guys) were completing the job. They trimmed back 3 large trees, thinned out a collection of palms and even removed a small dead tree we had (no extra charge). The area was as clean when they left as it was when they arrived. Easy to work with and did what we asked taking care not to "hack" our trees but gently prune and ensure the health of the trees.

I hired Island Ohana Tree and Landscaping to trim back my large mango tree. Brian and inspected the tree gave me an estimate for the job. Will, the tree trimmer, came today and did a fantastic job of pruning the tree. He opened it up to provide more light and shaped the tree. I was surprised that he did it all by hand and did not use a chainsaw. It looks fantastic! Both Brian and Will are very friendly and very knowledgeable about tree maintenance. I would definitely use this company again to trim my trees.

Island Ohana performed a full trimming of our beloved lychee tree which we neglected for many yrs. Brian initially came by for an assessment. He provided his insight & expertise on the many questions around our concerns of tree health. After his assessment, he firmed up the initial estimate provided over the phone. Before the trimming the next day, Will and another teammate arrived with the equipment and spent time to go over additional follow-up questions then ensured we were comfy with the planned trimming details prior to execution. Before the final clean-up, Will checked in with us to ensure it was to our expectations & if there were any fine adjustments requested. They effectively cleared the branches immediately above/touching our roof along with cutting back one particular branch that had died, hoping it was just stunted and able to grow back, along with overall shaping. Beyond the time to address our questions/concerns, Will also gave us homework on specific recommendations of watering, fertilizing & maintenance so our lychee tree would continue to grow with an ideal shape & become healthier along with fruiting in the coming years. Brian was super quick to reply to my request for an estimate to remove all of the dead branches from the three large monkeypod trees in our yard. He visited our property two days after I called, then sent me an estimate by email the next day. The price was very reasonable, so we accepted his proposal. Four days later, two of his men started the big job and finished it by the end of the week. His tree climber/pruner, Will, was especially awesome! I will definitely be calling these guys the next time we need our trees pruned!

We live in a humble residence that our family has been rooted for more than 60 years. With that said, our trees have grown huge with roots & trunks that are now massive & have taken lots of space on our property & even infringing on the integrity of the walls of the exterior of our home that would be very costly to repair the damages.
