I had problems with my solar panels which had been installed years back by another company which went out of business. I contacted Revolusun to see if they could resolve. While it did necessitate a few visits, and arguably that could have been solved sooner, I nonetheless highly command Revolusun for keeping at it and for the quality of their customer service. Ashley was awesome. The technicians who came were knowledgeable, competent and very professional.
I highly recommend using Revolusun and passed the word to all my neighbors

Back in October 2023 my family discovered that one of the Solar Inverter #1 the larger of the two that made Sun power into electrical power for our 3 batteries was not working correctly. The system was only 3.5 years old so it was fairly new. To make things worse 65% of the Solar Panel power went thru Inverter #1 and was not sure if the Sun power was being utilized.
What's great about Yumi was that:
1) Kept me informed of when the Service Technician would be there.
2) When an earlier service date was made available, Yumi reassigned the technician to go to my home, so my service date was moved up. The technician orders a new Inverter to replace #1 inverter.
3) When the technician discovered that the Inverter #1 needed to be replaced, she helped to communicate exactly what was going on.
4) Finally, Yumi kept me updated throughout the ordeal.
Great job Yumi, Thank You for taking care of your RevoluSun customers. Thank You RevoluSun for working so quickly to help your customers.

Steve Mazur originally came out to our home to discuss what our initial goal was and what we wanted and needed. We thought we needed a certain amount of panels and Steve instead of selling us what WE thought we needed he explained we didnt need that many and why, he easily could have sold us what we thought we needed which was significantly more money, instead he did the opposite. It wasnt about the money of a sale it was about providing us the customer with exactly what we needed rather than trying to sell us more.
Unlike any other sales person who once they get their sale their part is done. That wasn't the case with Steve. He kept in regular contact throughout the entire process. The permits here isnt a fast process but they kept on it and updated us regularly. The placement of the various electrical equipment panels that go on the side of the house and the tesla batteries was rather complicated and limited as our home has the most exessive and ridiculous amount of windows possible on a home. However Steve worked with the system designers who despite their challenges with the extremely limited options they came up with a design that worked. Again Steve was in constant communication with us. When it was time for instalation the installers were polite and professional. They were extremely efficient and meticulous with the work they did.
Not only did we want solar but we needed AC installed not as a luxury but out of necessity due to a serious medical condition. Despite that being a completely separate side of the company, Steve spoke to Charlie Greene who came out to our home. Not only only did he look at and discuss the various options and then best option to provide efficient AC throughout the home, which has a very unusual layout He also spent a considerate amount of time on the placement of each unit avoiding them being an eyesore in the rooms. They took the medical situation very seriously and worked on getting us in quickly. Like the solar installers they were efficient and meticulous with their work, professional and polite.
The lengthy part was the permits from the city which is out of Revolusuns control and seems to be a tedious process for anyone trying to obtain a permit for anything. I'm extremely greatful that all of that was handled by Revolusun, including frequent follow ups for updates.
I highly recommend Revolusun, they are a genuine company with employees who care about their customers and their needs. A very rare quality that most companies these days don't have.
The small houses they've built and provided for displaced families on Maui is proof this is a company is so much more, their main goal and purpose is about caring and helping people.

I chose RevoluSun b/c they have a good reputation. I used two other companies in the past and was pleased that I chose RevoluSun b/c of their workmanship and customer service. Michelle was very instrumental in designing my system and I felt she was after my best interest. She stayed on top of my progress and saw it through to completion. She was also instrumental in trouble shooting when needed. I was very impressed with the quick follow-through and also her response time and thoroughness. She is one of main reasons I decided to go w/RevoluSun and I'm glad I did. The crew that installed my system was very cordial and knowledgable. They did a good job with the panel installation, battery hookup and electrical work. I am glad to have chosen RevoluSun and am pleased with the system that I have. Thank You RevoluSun!

I hired RevoluSun to install a new A/C system. Existing system was too old, so I decided to replace it. After meeting Erik, I choose Mitsubishi A/C and made a contract.
RevoluSun did very good jobs. Its crews are very professional and provided great services.
Their works is very neat. After installation, one of crews explained very well how to use and manage the a/c system.

I found RevoluSun to be professional and well organized. They seem to have a good system to keep track of all the jobs and contracts. The employees are personable and knowledgeable. If only the City permitting side could function as well.

We could not be happier with the service that we received from RevoluSun. We had used them several years ago when we installed our first set of PV panels. We recently used them again for installation of more PV panels with the Tesla powerwalls. We also decided to use them for installation of our split AC units. Kevin, our service representative, was there with us throughout the whole process and answered any questions that we had very promptly. Charlie, who is in charge of the AC installation, was also available whenever we had questions. When an issue arose regarding one of the compressors that was installed (no fault of RevoluSun but rather the manufacturer), he took care of it right away. I believe that the thing that separates Revolusun from some of their competitors is that they view the relationship as a long-term relationship and gladly stand behind their products and service. There is a reason why they are one of the largest companies on the island when it comes to PV panels and will continue to be in business even with the changing winds. We could not give them any higher recommendation than to say that we have referred them to our friends and family. Thank you RevoluSun.

Hats off to Jimmy with Revolusun who came out to trouble shoot my solar PV system which had gone off line. He successfully rebooted my system, but I'm especially grateful for the time he spent with me trying to decipher why my electric bill had suddenly skyrocketed. Super smart, patient guy, who coached me through all the ways to use my Tesla app to figure it out. Thanks so much Jimmy. Give that man a raise!

Revolusun was prompt quick and thorough in the installation and start up of the PV system for my single family residence. I am looking forward to using the sun’s energy to run my home. James satisfied owner.

Well I have had solar installed on my house and it has been 16 weeks and nobody has come to actually turn it on. So I have a very expensive paper weight on my roof. Calls are not returned promptly and I have gotten to the point of hounding the organization for a call back. The permit was pulled on 5/2022. Seems a bit long to complete a project as it is now 1/2023. I believe the goal here is to redefine the term "delinquency" If you are considering this organization request a contract that states compensation for missing target dates. I do understand there are items that come up during the assessment that need to be addressed. This is expected. I refer to the stalling of getting that assessment scheduled. A one one week wait time became 16 weeks. On top of that they started to point fingers at the region electric company, who by the way haven't even been involved yet. My request for a detail document requesting all transactions on the project have not been addressed. Request for contact information of the parent company have been promised and then subsequently ignored.

However the workmen were fantastic, neat , clean, friendly. They actually made my garage look better that before. If I could have hired them on the side I would have.

From the initial inquires to the completion of the post install punch list items, every member of the Revolusun Team was fantastic. Design & engineering team took the time to answer ALL of my questions in detail. Installation team did a great job & stayed on schedule even when HECO threw them a curve ball. The QA team worked well with the C&C code inspectors to insure the install meet all the City & State requirement. The price was fair as compared to other quotes I received. The only frustrating part of the whole process was the wait and that wasn't anything Revolusun could influence. That was waiting on HECO & City & Country permitting. WELL DONE to the Revolusun Team.

My experience with Revolusun was First Class. They were professional in every aspect of the proposal and installation. I could not have been happier. One of the things I was really impressed with is how they took care of a few damaged roof tiles on the installation and how they covered my existing HECO meter with a cabinet and then made sure all the finishes matched.

Michelle is an asset to the company based on her knowledge, professionalism and follow through.

James assistance in coordinating the job was valuable.

The crews: Luka and his electrical team, Kevin and his panel team, carpenters, and painter did an excellent job.

Bill and the broader team really made the process of transitioning to solar super easy. They’re always responsive, always pick up the phone, and the customer service doesn’t end once the transaction is complete. We had to provide additional documentation for tax purposes and the team went above and beyond to get us the necessary documentation. I truly felt like they were on our side.

RevoluSun Solar continues to provide exceptional service. Jesse Dean, Blaine Akiona-Bannan, and Jonathan Dew from RevoluSun Solar, recently installed an indoor evaporator and outdoor condenser in our home. They showed up on time, effectively removed the old evaporator and condenser, properly installed the new evaporator and condenser, and explained how to clean and maintain those units to extend their lifetime. They clearly answered all of my questions. I appreciate their professionalism, positive attitude, cleanliness, and their expert skills. RevoluSun is my go-to company for my air conditioning and solar energy system needs.

Geoff and his team were super amazing from start to finish. We actually started this project when enquiring about a removal and reinstall of my old PV system when we were reroofing. Tesla gave us the contact of a few approved contractors, I reached out to all 3. Revoluson, the number they gave me was the CEO's cell phone, he answered and was super helpful. They were the only of the 3 that really got back and moved the ball forward. After doing tons of calculations of costs and benefits, Geoff worked with me to figure out it was best to actually redo the whole PV system, which we ended up doing.
From that point, it was like a total "white-glove" experience, with them walking us through everything from the rebates, loans (Used Hawaii State FCU which is also super awesome!), HECO paperwork and permits...etc.
The process is pretty tedious and long, but they stuck with it and did not drop the ball at any point. They were always very understanding of my questions or concerns, and in a few short months everything was completed. Each set of professionals that we dealt with, the techs, the installers, the estimators, etc, they were all super professional and friendly.
We've had the new system running with battery backups, and it has exceeded expectations. Way more efficient than our old system, and with that latest storm we had, everything worked exactly as described. Battery back ups fully charged, when the high winds knocked out our power, we were fine for the few hours everyone else was out of power.
I'm not sure of Revolusun is the cheapest company to do these types of projects, but they are certainly the best that I have dealt with and have no regrets. Mahalo to the entire team there at Revolusun!

Be wary.

We went with Revolusun as they were marketed as a premium company. Higher prices than competitors, but with premium products and customer service. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience.

The salesman was great, communicative, knowledgeable, and patient. Even with two design changes, he was responsive and helpful. After we agreed on the size of the project I was told the timelines: two months before install, one day of installation, and then the following day an engineer would come out and turn the system on.

Install day came and the crew was great—friendly, motivated, and quick. After that, I expected an engineer to come out the next day, however, I was told it would be three weeks before the engineer would come out. Revolusun’s reasoning was they had gotten backed up with projects and that was the earliest they could send someone. So I had a complete system on my roof, but was paying HECO $1200 a month for energy.

I called to see if anything could be done. I spoke with a senior engineer who said he would, “look into it and get back to me,” but I never received a phone call. I called back multiple times, and was told I would get a call back, which never happened. Poor customer service.

I had a remaining balance to pay off, and was waiting to pay it until I spoke with someone. Finally my salesperson emailed me about the remaining balance. I replied with my concerns and he never responded. Very unprofessional.

As others have mentioned in their review, once Revolusun has your money, do not expect anything from them.

Update: my sales representative called me multiple times to discuss my sentiment towards the company. After our conversation it was clear a miscommunication, poor communication, as well as good circumstance for Revoluson (got too busy), that caused my frustrating experience.
