It's a dump, what am I supposed to say? It smells horrendous and the signage is less than intuitive for a first time visitor. I did have one question about where to dump something and got a helpful answer.

This dump site is the best! It's organized, and accepts most things needed to be disposed of. When entering, there are workers that guide you where you need to go. Today, we disposed a truckload of things cluttering our garage, including a couch!

It’s a rubbish dump run by the City and County of Honolulu. One side is for garden plant waste. Other side is for metal and the main side is for regular garbage and scrap wood. No dead animal pets. Just tell the man at the entrance what you are dumping. They have to keep track, too. You can bring up to two trips for non commercial residential home owners. Open every day, except Christmas and New Year’s Day. Wear a optional mask. It’s dusty and stinky.

Very convenient and easy to dump almost anything. But beware there are quite a few rules. I've never had an issue with rubbish in bags, or green waste, but there are limits on 'non-combustibles', and boards should be less than 5 ft I think.

How are you supposed to describe a dump? It's an essential part our community. It stinks. But it's necessary. We did our yearly pruning of our avocado tree, and did the necessary trips to the transfer station to rid ourselves of the excess waste. It's good that we can do this.
