Read moreWe had a wonderful experience with this home builder, and Tiala was exceptional throughout the entire process. She guided us through both the construction and closing phases, kept us informed, answered our questions, and made everything feel smooth and manageable. Her professionalism, patience, and genuine care gave us confidence every step of the way. We are incredibly grateful for Tiala and would highly recommend her and the entire team!
I bought a house about 2 years ago from Winton and all I can say is that their service is the worst. The foreman’s never followed up on the either of both lists that we turned in for all the wrong things that the house had. And every time I would called the warranty office the lady in charge was always in a bad mood very unprofessional and she was of no help whatsoever very unprofessional and bad service. As of now I’m still trying for them to come and fix everything that the house has wrong since we bought it. Never buying a house from them again!!! Don’t buy Winton Homes!!!
A beautiful home. Nice finishes. A little awkwardly placed with regard to the homes behind us. However , very happy with the company and the people-- 5 star. We especially appreciate the quick response and communication on warranty issues. Top notch.
We purchased our Desert View Home about five years ago expecting a quality-built home that would last for many years. Unfortunately, our experience has been extremely disappointing, and the problems seem to continue getting worse instead of better.Over the years, we have experienced multiple issues throughout our home. The exterior paint has deteriorated much sooner than expected, the flooring has developed problems, and we have noticed movement and cracking in the exterior walls. Most recently, while preparing to install a privacy fence, the contractor inspected our shared rock wall and informed us that the mortar has deteriorated to the point that they do not recommend attaching the fence to it without additional support or repairs. We were given the option of paying approximately $7,000 to repair the mortar on our side of the wall or paying an additional $1,200 to install independent steel posts so the fence would not rely on the existing wall. For a home that is only five years old, this was shocking and extremely frustrating. Based on our experience, it gives the impression that low-quality materials or workmanship may have been used during construction. A home of this age should not already be facing so many costly issues. Every new problem leaves us questioning the overall quality of the construction. What has been even more disappointing is the feeling that, once the home is sold, homeowners are left to deal with these issues on their own. Instead of feeling supported, it often feels like the priority was making the sale rather than standing behind the quality of the homes being built. I understand that every home requires maintenance over time, but I did not expect to experience problems with the flooring, exterior paint, exterior walls, and the shared rock wall within the first five years of ownership. I sincerely hope Desert View Homes takes these concerns seriously, improves its construction quality, and provides better support to homeowners.
They have to stop hiring superintendent that are incompetent and only good to talk to and lie to homeowners, also they have no real knowledge only youtube school not only becasue they are old and they said oh I was a subcontractors it means is true. They always tell you but becasue covid I lost my job, my clients = he had no jobs,no clients, he stop getting jobs becasue he was incompetent and have no real knowledge of any trade and now you hire this people to tell owners things are ok even though they have no clue or real idea of what's is going on! Homeowners are not paying all the $$$ they do to have a liar talk their ear off. Not only that but they run job sites very bad becasue of their lack of knowledge and commons sense.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUILDER!!! Don't pay attention to the 5 star reviews as they are mostly employees or people connected to the company. There's one employee that gave herself 5 stars lol and didn't even bother to write a different name in her review. Homes 'look' good at first glance like everyone else has mentioned but they are severely overpriced and cheaply made. If I could give it 0 stars I would. The stucco around the house has been fixed three times since we purchased the property 3 years ago. It is now cracking again clearly indicating what may be some type of structural concern (see photos attached). You can press the stucco in with your hand and hear a crackling sound. This is not normal. Every time the warranty people have come they kept saying it's cosmetic due to the house settling and sun exposure. Save your money and look elsewhere. Three years after purchasing this home I feel like I threw a $300,000 loan down the drain. It's clear they just mass produce homes and try to make as much money as possible without caring about quality. They probably made double, if not triple the profit with me. I unfortunately fell into this trap due to their $10,000 buyer incentive. It feels like Edwards bids their projects and subcontracts third party companies for the lowest price possible. I really don't know how these homes pass inspections. This home builder also has several complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau which I should've checked before engaging in any type of business with them. Do you homework and research wisely!!!
