Home Builder reviews across the US

We purchased and moved into a new Sun Country Home in Dec, 2019. Sun Country builds a great quality home. Their service and responsiveness, both before and most importantly after the sale, is outstanding. The materials used are very good, including things like insulation, trim/accents, and construction materials, resulting in a solid home build. The subs they use for things like electrical, plumbing, landscaping, etc are all excellent as evidenced by my personally using all of them for some installs/modifications/projects that my wife and I have done over the past 6-7 months. They are all GREAT! I would most certainly buy another Sun Country Home in the future, and I highly recommend them if you are considering a great value home in the Vancouver/Battle Ground area.

I had the pleasure of working with Sun Country Homes. Dexter and his crew were professional, thorough and able to answer any questions or concerns I had throughout my time working with them. Additionally, they were flexible and creative with changes that needed to be made to our project. I highly recommend this company to anyone wishing to remodel their home.

We love our Sun Country home. The entire process from start to finish was great, they communicated with us every step of the way. Comparing this experience to our previous home building experience was night and day. Dexter was great informing us of the timelines for everything and always gave us ample time to make decisions before necessary so we never felt rushed. Since this is our “forever” home we had specific requests when it came to the electrical, finishes, landscape, appliances, etc. and we were always put in touch with the sub-contractors to express directly to them to avoid any confusion. From our past experience with a different builder, this was not the case and led to many after the fact changes. We didn’t experience a single thing that wasn’t exactly what we wanted or envisioned. With Sun Country Homes we were able to build the perfect home and would highly recommend them.

Sun Country Homes made our homebuying journey an absolute dream come true! From the very beginning, Dexter and his team were incredibly attentive and professional, guiding us through every step with ease. They took the time to understand our needs and desires, ensuring that we found the perfect home. The entire process was seamless, and their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction was evident in every interaction. Thanks to Sun Country Homes, we are now living in our dream home, and we couldn't be happier. Highly recommend them to anyone looking to make their home buying dreams a reality!

Lakewood works and has worked with Sun Country Homes on many projects. Dexter and his team are great to work with and successfully provide an awesome, quality product! We highly recommend Sun Country Homes when considering a home.

We had been planning a home build on rural property we own for nearly two years, but had put things on hold because of post pandemic contractor challenges. That all changed after we were referred to Sun Country Homes and met with Dexter. He was a pleasure to work with from the start and spent a lot of time with us throughout the process. He's professional, fair, thoughtful and a calm problem solver. We are thrilled with our home and would highly recommend Dexter and Sun Country Homes to anyone looking to build a beautiful new home. We've already referred him to a few friends!

Sun Country Homes just completed a second home for my wife and I. The job was well organized, within budget, and on time. Best of all, Dexter was very flexible and allowed us to add features during the building process. I highly recommend Sun Country Homes and we will use them to build our next new home!

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Sun Country Homes, and I cannot recommend them enough! From start to finish, the experience was flawless. The quality of the homes they build is exceptional — every detail is thoughtfully designed and executed with the highest standards in mind. The craftsmanship is impeccable, and it's clear they prioritize both beauty and durability in their work.

A special shout-out to the president, Dexter Kalliainen! His vision, intelligence, and leadership are evident in every aspect of the company. Dexter’s commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction truly sets Sun Country Homes apart from others in the industry. I was beyond impressed with how knowledgeable, professional, and approachable he was throughout the process.

If you're looking for a beautiful, high-quality home from a team you can trust, Sun Country Homes is the way to go!

One of the best home buying experiences I have ever had. The home was big, beautiful, spacious, and the floor plan was perfect. The large windows were amazing. Kitchen was awesome. All the bedrooms were great. Dexter and his team did a great job on everything. Best HVAC system I've ever had. Insulation must have been great too. Great quality. The outside looked great too. Yard was great. Sprinkler system was great. Privacy fence looked amazing. I've built 3 homes myself and this one was just as if I had built it myself. High quality construction. Beautiful area to live. Any time I needed anything, Dexter would get it taken care of quickly. He went above and beyond for anything I asked. He even helped me when he didn't have to help me. I now consider Dexter a good friend. He stays calm and cool at all times. He is respectful at all times. Great guy. I couldn't recommend a home builder more than Sun Country Homes.

Sun Country Homes built us a beautiful home! Dexter and his team spent a lot of time with us answering questions assisting with upgrades and making sure we had the home we wanted. I would recommend this builder to anyone looking for a very high character builder that goes above and beyond to build a very high quality home and has great service from start to finish. We have lived in our new home for 6 weeks and the builder has been by multiple times to make sure everything is perfect! Thank you Sun Country Homes we love our new home!

We had a great experience purchasing our new home from Sun Country Homes. The process was smooth, the team was professional and responsive, and the quality of the home really stands out. We’re very happy with our new home and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a well-built house.

We had a five star experience with Sun Country Homes. We felt comfortable with the builder from our first meeting and throughout the process. He was easy to work with, knowledgable and personable. We were part of the home building process from just after permits were pulled so were able to observe the entire house being built and were involved with choosing the various design elements. The process was smooth and clear as we worked directly with the designated cabinet and flooring design centers. The house was built in just under five months so ahead of the five month estimate provided originally. We even had a few last minute design changes we wanted to make and the builder was able to make that happen which we really appreciated. We have been in the house now for a couple of months and all is well. I would highly recommend Sun Country Homes.

They have been very patient with us while making our forever home decisions.

Always they are ready to help you to design your home dream

I appreciate Paula Lopez builder’s Rep for your quality work and kind attention. Thank you!!!!

We love our house…they did a great job…and when we have a problem they are always there to resolve it…

They use cheap material and and the brick walls can break with ur own hands nice houses cheap material and plants always die on them

I would totally recommend them for your new custom home, they're luxurious, modern, and very very nice !

Some great model homes, land lots a little over priced and interest on hold lots exorbitant. Customer service at model homes was exceptional, but at the home office lacking.

We got our home in December 2016. The stucco is cracked, the roof is leaking and damaged the walls and windows. This is happening with all the homes on Garden Park at Mission Ridge. Everyone in our neighborhood watch is extremely disappointed that 250-400k / 3 year old homes are looking beat up.

I had my house recently built with ICON and I was very impressed with the high quality material they used to build my home. I highly recommend!!
