ICON is the best choice when it comes to Custom Homes. From staff to workers everyone was helpful and knowledgeable. They made our dream house come true!

What an amazing experience got a chance and walk through a model home. They showed me all possibilities in building a home from the insulation, cabinets, and what they provide that is not an upgrade but standard.

Incredible designs, my only complaint is I wish that all builders were as passionate and talented as these wonderful folks at Icon Custom Homes, I surely plan to purchase one of their lovely homes !

Since moving in this past May, the home has been nothing but exceptional. Staff worked with us and quality of work is second to none. This our retirement home and we love all the minute details in style.

Warranty requests are handled with the upmost professionalism and responsiveness. I am very impressed of Ms Chavez’ attentiveness and her crew’s ability to get the job done right.

Update: I was asked to go to a website and provide all the info of who I spoke with and what phone number I called... I see why the secretary, or whoever answered, was rude. The website provides a number. That's the phone number I dialed. It's not my job to fix your office problems! I was hoping someone would contact me to see why the heck I called and left my name and phone number but instead I have to deal with someone that thinks everyone is on their time... sorry but you have wasted my time enough and would appreciate if you accept your mistake and stop asking me to waste more time your " horrible" customer service.

If I will build again, I will definitely use ICON Home builder again. They will super-customize your home to your taste and will always help and support you even after the contract is done and the home is built.

Our home is beautiful, but was built in a rush. There were a lot of things that we didn’t notice during our walk through, that weren’t noticeable. After only living in the house for a couple of days, we noticed a few things, but of course weren’t honored to be fixed by Icon. If I could do it all over, I would and think twice about goin with Icon as our builder.

We were won over from the start not just by the Icon model but also by Paula at the Festival of homes. The rest of the team from then on was nothing short of amazing. My husband and I can't thank them enough for making everything run so smoothly and building our beautiful home.

This is the best builder you'll find in El Paso for custom homes.

Management: They are great to work with and responsive to concerns/needs. If you don't like something, they will fix it without hesitation.

Selection: They specialize in modern style homes. They have the most robust selection of material to choose from (e.g. tile, counter tops, cabinets, upgrades, etc) out of all the builders I was considering. The interior designer I worked with was Adrian and he was simply fantastic - he is exceptional at what he does. Just give him ideas of what you like and he'll pencil out something amazing.

Builders: The lead foreman on my project was Willie. I can't imagine a better person to work with throughout my project, this guy was on top of it! Great energy and attitude. He gets things done to your exact specifications, and if something isn't right, he will make sure it gets done. On several occasions I saw him busting his butt with the other workers on the job site helping out his crew to make deadlines - if I start my own home building co, he is the first person I'm hiring.

NOTE: For the most part, every home building in El Paso is hiring their labor from the same pool of workers. Meaning that the quality of work is pretty much the same regardless of what company you go with. What makes ICON different is that they use high quality materials and that they take their work to the next level. For example, they seal the perimeter in all the showers with silicon - a minute detail that no other builder does to my knowledge.

Regarding the "custom" aspect: There is minimal variability you can do with the elevation of your home (how the home looks on the outside) - you choose from several blueprints and can tweak them to make it unique - at least for the Choice and the Advantage package, you certainly can't design how your house looks on the outside from scratch (not sure if that holds true for the Premier package). However, you can completely customize the floor plan, which is pretty cool. You can create whatever layout you want regarding size and location of bedrooms, living rooms, bathrooms, etc. For example, I wanted a large walk-in shower in my master bathroom - that was no problem. You can also customize your living room ceiling design and foyer any way you like.

Overall, this is a great team to work with. My only recommendation is to frequently walk-through the project along the way to ensure there are not any fundamental flaws in the work. Also, get more outlets and more lights than the allowance, you'll be glad you did. They are also the only custom home builder that I know of the is implementing "smart" features (e.g.: you get 6 smart light switches, an Amazon Alexa or Google Home, a Nest thermostat, Ring doorbell, and wifi garage door opener).

Of the options for custom home builders here in El Paso, you will not regret choosing ICON as your custom home builder, I can say that with certainty.

ICON made building a home in El Paso while living out of state completely painless. The staff was professional and accommodating, ensuring I was included in every aspect of the process. If you are looking to build a quality beautiful new home, ICON is highly recommended.

I just moved into my house on Thursday and I couldn’t be happier I chose to go with ICON. Moving here from out of state I wasn’t familiar with any of the builders in El Paso but I took my realtor’s word for it that ICON was one of the best in town. The finishes are immaculate and the location is perfect. They even installed the shutters and the washer and dryer before I arrived in town, which was a relief. Samira has been wonderful to deal with as well! I had a leak from the bathtub faucet and not even 30 minutes later a plumber was there to fix it- on a Saturday morning. I couldn’t recommend ICON enoungh!

We purchased Our Dream Home, August 2020. We did our research before purchasing a home and ICON Homes kept coming up in our search for a Quality Home Builder. We are in the Military and purchased our home while stationed overseas. In March we became acquainted with George Marsh who works in the Sales Department at ICON. His customer service skills and professionalism are outstanding. He sent us pictures of houses that would be move in ready when we arrived in August. He kept in close contact with us for over 5 months. Sending videos of our house as it was being built and Always promptly returning our phone calls with any questions or concerns we had. We also worked with Vanessa Rangel who works in the design selection department. She is very proficient in her knowledge of latest design trends. She also excelled in her Customer Service skills as she responded to all our emails and endless questions about colors and upgrades we purchased for our home. Our last shout out, is for Samira Lopez, who is a Rockstar by our definition. There were some minor issues, during the Walkthrough of our home. Samira stepped in and made sure that everything was addressed and taken care of. There are a lot of Home Builders in El Paso. I have researched a lot of apartments for my daughter in Houston and by far the ICON was the most professional and nice. Their customer service was beyond helpful. One of their leasing managers Brendan Thompson made sure all my questions were answered and even followed up with me.

My creative designer, Rodrigo, was awesome! He absolutely distinguished himself as a true professional with impecable customer service. He understood our needs and worked tirelessly to meet those needs. He was patient and very thorough and took the time to ensure he fully explained every question we had in detail. Rodrigo helped design our forever home all while keeping constant communication. This is why ICON has established themselves as the best builder in El Paso.
