I had Joshua Cash and his crew come out today. They did a very good job and explained everything they did thoroughly

I had Gamma Tree Experts deadwood my trees and I’m glad I did. They did what was contracted and asked that I review their work to make sure I was satisfied. They cleaned and raked the debris and left my yard looking better than when they arrived! I will be using Gamma again this spring!

I could not be happier with the service I received from Gamma Tree Experts. I had a huge stump with exposed roots here and there in the yard that needed to be removed. The job was scheduled quickly and the team who did the work exemplify professional. I was in awe at how quickly and efficiently the work was done. Rich came by to give me a quote and it was a very pleasant experience. He's knowledgeable and very helpful in suggesting what needed to be done and what to expect. The two team members who came out to do the work just blew me away. Except that the stump is gone, you can't tell they were ever here. Great job, great clean up, & really hardworking, pleasant guys. I recommend Gamma Tree Experts for all your tree work! 5 stars, for sure!!

The crew did an excellent job and cleaned up very well. I had a small question regarding the results, and they were out to fix everything up without a hassle. I wouldn't hesitate to consider Gamma for future work.

I called them, and got a quick estimate from Gamma. Soon after, I called them to set up a date for work to be done on the trees. The secretary said they would call back to set up a date within 48 hours… It’s been over 3 months, and they never did call back. Total waste of my time! If I could give them a Zero star, I would.

Tom was the arborist that quoted the work at my house, and he also over saw the completion of the work. He was extremely professional and easy to work with. After his initial quote most of our contacts was over the phone until the crew showed up to complete the work, at which point he stopped in to check on the progress and the crew several times. The office was also easy to reach and very helpful with some of my request when I managed to lose paperwork or needed updates on the project.

The workers that showed up to remove the trees and then out the limbs on the others were very professional and friendly. They worked extremely well with each other, and they were also very helpful and courteous to my family during the time that they were here. The crew also went above and beyond what was required of them by removing additional limbs at the request of my wife and other family members to ensure The proper lock and clearance needed for our new solar panel installment. The crew was also extremely professional when it became time to complete the project, they removed all of the debris and cleaned up any remnants left along with some limbs that I had trimmed a week earlier.

Gamma tree service preformed their services extremely well and I would have no issue referring them to friends and family, I definitely will use them again myself. Several other community members stop by to inquire about their services. I even notified Tom that my neighbor would like to get a quote for work on some of his trees.

Uncommunicative business and with minimal effort performed. Also they try charging more than what is on the agreed contract. Not good business practices

Gamma Tree Experts just finished taking down a massive tree in my backyard and I could not be more impressed with their tree removal service. The team was polite and professional, taking every opportunity to keep my yard as clean as possible and to communicate effectively about what they’re doing. They took great precautions to keep both their team and my home safe, which was a big concern of mine as this tree was HUGE and very close to my house. They were also very affordable, especially for the level of knowledge and experience that each of them brings to the field. It was an absolute pleasure to watch them work so efficiently. I have no doubt that Gama is the only company that we’ll be using and recommending from now on.

Took giant limbs from neighbors tree over my pool. Did a great job and not so much as a leaf in my pool. Did extra while in the tree and were professional and friendly. Same company saved another tree for me a few years ago. No one else knew what to do. My first call always

Omg!! So my 1 year old cat got stuck in a tree for 3 days!!!! I called animal control.. NO ANSWER, I called humane society couldn’t help BUT!! Within 2hours of calling them they came out & got her from the tree

If you want the best call Gamma Tree experts. They just finished a 3 day project at my house. Professional, courteous experts. Quick clean and gave my house a new look and made my house much safer from tree damage, Had major tree limbs and a huge tree removed from over my house and i wanted the best. I’ve used this company in the past and was disappointed this last time. Spent over $2800 for tree removal and tree trim to receive subpar customer service. The actual work was fine but in the process had to deal with rude employees and the tree cutters cut my internet line while cutting tree down and they never said a word to me. It was pretty obvious that it was cut but I had to investigate myself when my internet suddenly went out. I called company after they finished the job and got paid to complain about this. The receptionist told me should would let them know and they would call me back. Never heard back from them. I will be sure not to use them again.

This is the worst experience I have ever had with a company.
I called Gamma Tree Experts to prune a large tree in my back yard. The arborist came out when I was not home and gave me an estimate on work that I did not want done. I called and had him come when I was home. I waited some time for the proposal and when it came it was the first proposal, the one that I had rejected. I called many times over the next week or so and finally the office said that I would need to call the arborist because he had not sent another proposal. This all took three and a half weeks. The proposal was very high but I supposed that it would take a whole crew with special equipment to do the work. I had been told that the work would be done in two weeks. After another three weeks I started to call again. I was finally told to call the arborist because he did the scheduling. He had not put me on the schedule so we started on another wait.
The crew arrived about 8:30 AM. The Arborist told the crew of three what to do and that they should be done at 2:30. I did not see them for a while and when my lawn people came, I told them to only cut the front. He said that he saw the crew sitting beside the house and wondered if they were taking a break. I said that they had just arrived. They clipped a few things here and there but only one seemed to be working and there was no special equipment being used. They only used a long clipper from the ground. They rested under a small tree and bushes looking at phones. My neighbor thought one was sick when she saw him lying on the roof that he may have had a heart attack. They left for lunch for an hour and a half and then brought lunch back and sat around eating, again under a small tree. They left at 2:30 as they were told.
I paid for a big job and got an hour’s worth of work and people lying around my yard for hours.

How it started:
I was super impressed by Tom Gamma when he came to my house, and he bid on the work I wished to have done. When time came for the job to be done, I asked for them to notify us.
We have a birdhouse on the tree, with nesting birds, I want to move it before the tree is worked on. I also wanted to move patio items so they had a clear path.

How it went:

Well…maybe they came, maybe they didn’t…but someone cut down part of the tree and left it in a stupid pile…no notes, or calls, or emails from anyone…a job halfway done, zero communication, and professional reputation is tarnished…Gamma, what happened? You have an opportunity to correct this … please make this right.

UPDATE: How it got resolved

Tom Gamma called me about an hour after posting this…he explained the circumstances and apologized for the poor communication. Obviously it would have been better to communicate with more precision and some managed expectations…but that phone call went a long way. I am expecting the job to be completed in the next few days. Tom, thank you for the call.

We had a great experience with Gamma Tree Experts. The crew was top-notch and they worked extremely hard trimming lots of trees for us. We couldn't be happier and we'll definitely use them again.

Really great service and experience with Gamma. Bryan D. gave a great quote. Gamma was professional, efficient and really skilled. Did phenomenal tree trimming/pruning work. Will call them for all future needs and encourage others to do the same.

We had Paul from Gamma take down 2 big trees for us along with grinding the stumps and a few other stumps that had been left behind from previous homeowners. The crews were great and did it in a timely fashion. They were safe and cautious with one of the trees that was very close to the house If you’re looking to have tree work done, they are your guys!

Very dishonest business. Our neighbor hired them and we agreed to split the bill for taking down a tree which they did perform. The split was stated in the contract.

We paid our half once the invoice was received and they sent us to a debt collector 3 months later. We showed proof of payment and the charge we incurred already. That debt collector agreed and then we sent an email with proof to gamma tree experts to which they did not respond or acknowledge.

They responded by hiring a new debt collector. Very unethical with the constant harassment even though we have done our end to uphold the agreement.

Would not recommend.

WOW, JUST WOW! We had a high wind event on Sunday, March 22 late in the day. A major 75 foot tree was up rooted and got tangled in a smaller tree causing the massive tree to precariously hang over my house like a guillotine. We couldn’t get anyone to come out. Tom Gamma, the owner, dropped what he was doing on a Sunday evening at around 8pm and came to deal with the problem. His years of experience put everyone at ease immediately. He took charge and factored in all of the geometry, root situation, wind speed, tree type etc… He assured me and the neighbors it was safe for the night, and he was right. At 8am the next morning his team was hard at work and resolved a freighting and potentially very costly problem. I can’t recommend Gamma Tree Experts more highly, this was absolutely extraordinary service that you just don’t receive anymore. Thank you very much Tom and the Gamma team. 👏

Best tree services around! I have been using Gamma since 2023 and they never fail to provide the best quality of work. They have been managing all the trees on my 1 acre property. This year they even took care of a heavily damaged tree removal. They have the best prices around and again they leave my property clean and nice. I have used other companies but none match the quality and prices provided by Gamma.

I felt like Tom, the owner did me wrong on the billing. I was quoted $1850 to cut back two trees. They were able to cut the front yard tree, which was the least amount of work. However, when they were supposed to cut the tree on the side of the house, my neighbor came out and pitched a fit due to him not wanting there truck on his part of the property and since I live on a cul-de-sac they had to go over on his side at least a foot and a half. The Tree company decided not to cut the tree. When I got the bill I was charged $1350. I thought for sure that had to be mistake so I called as I was figuring oil would only be charged at the very most half of that total. When I had other arborist quote me on the front yard tree it was anywhere from $650-$800, but because Gamma was able to cut both trees for 1850 I decided to go with them because they were highly recommended. When I asked about the Bill, I was told that Tom the owner felt that he should be Charging me even more than he did due to the men’s time. Time? They were here for one tree and the start of a second one that they weren’t able to even cut one branch. I was very disappointed - now my budget for me to have any other trees trim back in my yard is out of the budget fir me. . I would not recommend them unless you get each Tree quoted separately so that this doesn’t happen to you.

When I told a friend who works at St. Louis compost what happened? They were so shocked and felt that Gamma didn’t be wrong as well.
